Newly Single Orlando Bloom Caught Getting Handsy With Glamorous Stranger After Jeff Bezos Party Storms Out

Yahoo7 hours ago

Orlando Bloom is fully embracing his single life and making the most of it with headlines to match.
Less than a week after news broke of his split from Katy Perry, Bloom was caught cozying up to an unnamed brunette at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding festivities in Venice.
As a sudden thunderstorm forced guests to leave a lavish welcome party, Bloom found himself sharing intimate laughs, close chats, and even an arm draped around the glamorous guest on a private boat ride.
On Thursday night, Bezos and Sanchez's three-day wedding celebration in Italy took a dramatic turn when a sudden thunderstorm forced the guests to flee the wedding party early. However, Orlando Bloom didn't let the incident discourage him from having fun as a single man.
Amid the chaos, the actor was photographed leaving the Madonna dell'Orto cloister with a mysterious brunette in a beautiful green dress, their bodies close as they crossed the wet stone to a waiting boat.
Once inside the boat, pictures obtained by the Daily Mail showed Bloom wrapping an arm around her as they laughed, chatted, and cruised back to the Aman Hotel, clearly enjoying the intimate escape from the storm-flooded event.
Bloom's handsy engagement with the mystery lady comes after he turned heads in Venice with a flirty air-kiss for Kim Kardashian as he made his first public appearance since splitting from Katy Perry.
He was captured on camera in a sleek black muscle tank top, exiting a water taxi at Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's star-studded wedding festivities.
The "Lord of the Rings" star greeted Kim Kardashian with a warm kiss on both cheeks and a close embrace, sparking speculation after photos of the encounter leaked online.
The moment reignited interest in a viral shot from New York Fashion Week 2024, where Bloom was seen admiring Kim's bottom while still with Perry, something the singer later revealed she "approved" of.
Nevertheless, Bloom seemed at ease amid the celebrity crowd, exchanging more laughs with Kim, her sister Khloe Kardashian, and mom Kris Jenner.
Orlando Bloom's recent exchanges have sparked a wave of reactions, as his nearly eight-year relationship with Perry just ended.
The pair began dating in 2016, split for two years, and eventually reconciled in 2018. The following year, the 47-year-old popped the question, and for the next couple of years, fans looked forward to the duo's big day.
Sadly, they reportedly encountered multiple rough patches and ultimately called it quits.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed why Bloom and Perry never tied the knot. "They were looking forward to marrying fast after getting engaged, and then COVID got in the way," they told the outlet.
"[When] they got engaged, she was expecting, so everything came fast, and she was looking forward to heading down the aisle pregnant. There just wasn't any time to put a wedding together," the source continued.
"The chances of breaking up were more likely than getting married," the insider shared.
On the other hand, another source attributed Bloom and Perry's relationship woes to the "Dark Horse" singer's busy schedule due to her Lifetime's Tour.
"Katy and Orlando have been disconnected for a while now, and with their work commitments, have been living separate lives," they told The Sun.
"They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months," the source added. "It has been 'go, go, go' and they thrived when they enjoyed a more settled life, being together in the same place for a length of time. But that has just not happened."
The source noted that the former couple planned to reunite during Perry's break after the Australian leg of her tour on June 30 to talk things out.
In addition to her busy schedule, Perry's collaboration with Dr Luke on her album reportedly caused tension in her relationship with Orlando Bloom.
Dr. Luke, a figure long marred by legal disputes and serious sexual assault allegations from Kesha, returned as a co-producer on her single "Woman's World," triggering backlash from fans and critics who called the partnership tone-deaf and insensitive.
Sources say the negativity placed Perry and Bloom under stress, resulting in tension in their romance.
"Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album," they told PEOPLE. "It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension."

Rei Kawakubo redefines men's suits with radical designs at Paris Fashion Week

PARIS — Rei Kawakubo , the ever-restless force behind Comme des Garçons , delivered a characteristically unpredictable twist on men's tailoring, dismantling the traditional suit and remaking it in her own radical image. Titled 'Not Suits, But Suits,' the Paris Fashion Week show had models striding through a packed, overheated concrete venue Friday evening in looks that both nodded to and defied the idea of formalwear. Classic suit elements, jackets, lapels, pressed trousers, were reimagined with sharp, architectural interventions: bulging hips, layered or panniered silhouettes, and unexpected splashes of color. Some jackets appeared as if spliced apart and reassembled, while skinny pants revealed hidden panels and bursts of pattern through carefully placed zippers. Layering abounded, with cropped jackets stacked over pleated shirting, kilts and shorts. Knitwear was shredded and reconstructed, echoing a sense of disorder within the tailored frame. Accessories pushed the eccentricity further — models wore oversized, multi-brimmed caps crafted from suiting fabrics, paired with long braided wigs and formal shoes. The collection evoked the need for something transformative in unsettled times. Its atmosphere only heightened the collection's message: in Kawakubo's world, the suit is not a uniform of conformity but a canvas for disruption. As guests spilled out into the night, applause rang out for a designer who continues to turn fashion's certainties inside out.

BBC: Kneecap's Glastonbury set will not be live streamed but could go on-demand

Kneecap's performance at Glastonbury Festival will not be live-streamed but is likely to be made available on-demand, the BBC has said. A number of politicians have called for the Irish rap trio to be removed from the line-up and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said their performance would not be 'appropriate' after one of the members was charged with a terror offence. A BBC spokesperson said: 'As the broadcast partner, the BBC is bringing audiences extensive music coverage from Glastonbury, with artists booked by the festival organisers. 'While the BBC doesn't ban artists, our plans ensure that our programming meets our editorial guidelines. 'We don't always live-stream every act from the main stages and look to make an on-demand version of Kneecap's performance available on our digital platforms, alongside more than 90 other sets.' It is understood the BBC needs to consider the performance before making a final decision. The band said on Instagram: 'The propaganda wing of the regime has just contacted us…. 'They WILL put our set from Glastonbury today on the iPlayer later this evening for your viewing pleasure.' Liam Og O hAnnaidh, 27, was charged with allegedly displaying a flag in support of proscribed terrorist organisation Hezbollah, while saying 'up Hamas, up Hezbollah' at a gig in November last year. On June 18 the rapper, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was cheered by hundreds of supporters as he arrived with bandmates Naoise O Caireallain and JJ O Dochartaigh at Westminster Magistrates' Court in Free Mo Chara T-shirts. He was released on unconditional bail until the next hearing at the same court on August 20. Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch said she thinks the BBC 'should not be showing' the group's set. In an X post from last Saturday, she said: 'The BBC should not be showing Kneecap propaganda. 'One Kneecap band member is currently on bail, charged under the Terrorism Act. 'As a publicly funded platform, the BBC should not be rewarding extremism.' Ahead of the performance, Gemma Gibson, 41, from Newcastle told the PA news agency that she was 'really excited' to see Kneecap perform. Asked if their set should have been cancelled amid the ongoing controversy, she said: 'Well, that would be completely against everything that Glastonbury stands for … This is where they should be.' An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson told PA: 'Ticket-holders can once again expect to see uniformed officers on site at Glastonbury Festival 24/7 throughout the festival as part of our extensive policing operation ensuring it is safe for everyone attending, as well as those who live nearby.' Saturday has seen performances from the likes of rock band Kaiser Chiefs and US star Brandi Carlile, who released an album with Sir Elton John earlier in the year. Elsewhere, Irish singer CMAT, who played the Pyramid Stage on Friday, performed a secret set at the BBC Introducing stage. Neil Young, best known for songs such as Rockin' In The Free World, Like A Hurricane and Cinnamon Girl, will headline the festival's Pyramid Stage on Saturday night with his band the Chrome Hearts. The corporation will broadcast Young's set after previously saying it would not be shown 'at the artist's request'. On Saturday a BBC spokesperson said: 'We are delighted to confirm that Neil Young's headline set from Glastonbury on Saturday will be broadcast live to audiences across the UK on the BBC.' The set will be shown on the BBC iPlayer Pyramid Stage stream from 10pm, as well as broadcast on BBC Two and BBC Radio 2. Another act expected to draw a big crowd is Brat star Charli XCX, who will headline the Other Stage around the same time Young and Grammy Award-winning rapper Doechii will also perform. The 1975 headlined the festival's Pyramid Stage on Friday night, with the performance seeing singer Matty Healy joke he was his generation's 'best songwriter'. Friday also saw a performance from Scottish music star Lewis Capaldi who told the Glastonbury crowds 'I'm back baby' as he played a surprise set, two years after a performance at the festival during which he struggled to manage his Tourette syndrome symptoms. Celebrities who have been spotted at the festival include singer Harry Styles, Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, The Crown actor Emma Corrin, and Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn. Saturday could see highs of 26C, 'with high levels of humidity', according to the Met Office. Spokesman Grahame Madge said: 'There is always the chance of a light shower, but there is nothing in the forecast that suggests anything heavier for Saturday for Somerset.' Avon and Somerset Police have said there have been 75 reports of crimes at the festival with 20 arrests made. Performing in the coveted Sunday legends slot this year is Sir Rod Stewart, who previously said he will be joined by his former Faces band member Ronnie Wood, as well as other guests. The BBC is providing livestreams of the five main stages: Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies and The Park.

How much did the Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos wedding cost?

The billionaire Amazon founder and award-winning TV journalist's luxe wedding ceremony happened on Friday, June 27. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos have finally tied the knot in a luxury Venetian wedding, but love comes at a cost. The billionaire Amazon founder and award-winning TV journalist's luxe wedding ceremony happened Friday, June 27, after multiple days of star-studded nuptial events. The affair featured A-list guests including sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian; their youngest sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and family matriarch Kris Jenner; Oprah Winfrey; Tom Brady; Orlando Bloom; model Brooks Nader; Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti; and Bezos' fellow billionaire Bill Gates. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez tie the knot in controversial wedding ceremony Bezos' multimillion-dollar affair has drawn ire online and in person, as protests erupt in the region calling for the Blue Origin owner to pay more in taxes amid global frustrations about class and wealth divides. But how much did Hollywood's wedding of the year cost? Jeff Bezos spent tens of millions on the Italian wedding The affair — which ends Saturday, June 28, with its third official day of festivities — is estimated to cost some $50 million. The actual cost of the wedding is unknown, but Venice regional governor Luca Zaia originally estimated the cost between 20 million-30 million euros, or $23 million-$34 million, in a June 24 Reuters article. After a venue change because of security concerns, the estimate later jumped to 40 million-48 million euros, or $46.5 million-$55.6 million. The multi-day events will culminate on Saturday evening with a lively closing party in a former medieval shipyard where music icons Lady Gaga and Elton John are expected to perform. Lauren Sánchez made this subtle change after marrying Jeff Bezos For the ceremony, Sánchez Bezos wore a Dolce & Gabbana silhouette dress with a high-neck, adorned with 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons paired with a tulle-and-lace veil, inspired by a similar veil that iconic Italian actress Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 film "Houseboat," according to a Vogue magazine exclusive. Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, were first reportedly linked in 2019, around the same time both parties announced splits from their previous partners. Bezos and his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, with whom he shares four children, split officially that same year. Sánchez was already in the process of divorcing her husband, Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children. She has one more child with former NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez, who was expected to attend the ceremony with new wife October "Tobie" Gonzalez.
