In a shocking incident, a security guard was intentionally run over by an enraged Thar SUV driver in Delhi's Vasant Kunj after he asked the driver not to honk. The victim, Rajiv Kumar, suffered multiple fractures and is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The whole incident was caught on CCTV camera and the footage has been widely shared on social media platforms. The footage showed a black shiny vehicle hitting a man and then ran over him.

As per the media reports, the altercation began when the victim was returning to his home in Mahipalpur after night duty at the Delhi Airport's Terminal 3.
As he was walking on his way to home at the Mahipalpur Chowk, a car came from behind while honking loudly. He asked the driver not to honk. In response, the driver, identified as 24-year-old Vijay, threatened to cross the road and run over Kumar.
As soon as the guard crossed the road, the accused rammed his Thar SUV into Kumar and ran over him before fleeing the spot.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment. He sustained multiple fractures in his both legs.
The Vasant Kunj South Police arrested the accused within six hours of the crime. The vehicle involved in the accident is seized and further investigation is underway.

Gurugram: Three people were killed and five others critically injured after a speeding car rammed into another vehicle at a major intersection on National Highway-19 in Faridabad early Saturday morning, police said. Five employees of JCB India Limited were returning to their respective homes in Hodal and Palwal from the company's headquarters after a night shift in a Maruti Ertiga when an MG Hector, with three occupants, rammed into it from the accident took place at JCB Chowk near Sector-55 around 2 am. The deceased were identified as Tevinder, Manish, and Deepanshu, all aged between 25 and 30 years, station house officer of the Sector-58 police station Vinod Kumar said. 'They all were employees of JCB and were travelling in the Ertiga with two more colleagues. The crash took place as soon as the Ertiga reached the chowk. A speeding MG Hector, having three occupants, rammed it from the right. The collision caused the Ertiga to flip multiple times on the NH and it later caught fire,' Kumar said. Also Read: Two killed in Chamba road mishap 'Locals and police reached the spot and pulled everyone out of the mangled remains of both the cars before fire could spread and took them to various hospitals for treatment, where three of them were declared dead on arrival,' Kumar said, adding that the conditions of the five injured people are critical. The police are investigating to ascertain what led to the crash. 'However, prima facie it seems that the Hector driver didn't slow down prior to the intersection,' he said. As the city gears up to celebrate Bakrid on Saturday, Lucknow Police have made elaborate security arrangements to ensure peaceful observance of the festival, with a clear focus on preventing the sacrifice of banned animals and maintaining communal harmony. Joint commissioner of police (law & order) Babloo Kumar said that strict measures are in place to stop the sacrifice of restricted animals. 'Nagar Nigam teams have been deployed across the city, especially in sensitive areas, to ensure no banned animals are sacrificed. Volunteers from the local community have also been engaged to assist and facilitate the celebrations,' he stated. To strengthen coordination and community outreach, Peace Committees have been constituted at every police station in Lucknow. 'Meetings have been held at the level of DCPs involving Peace Committee members. Their concerns have been addressed, and the police department is working in coordination with local leaders to maintain calm and cooperation,' Kumar added. Highlighting the scale of security arrangements, the JCP said that 14 companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), one unit of Rapid Action Force (RAF), and large contingents of civil police have been deployed throughout the city. Sensitive areas like Aishbagh Eidgah, Teelewali Masjid, and Bada Imambada are under tight security cover, with barricading, RRF presence, and heavy patrolling. The western sector will have round-the-clock PAC deployment, and real-time surveillance will be carried out through CCTV cameras and drone monitoring. Police Response Vehicles (PRVs) are being actively routed for continuous patrolling. 'All officers are on high alert, and our goal is to ensure that the three-day Bakrid celebrations pass peacefully and with full religious dignity,' the JCP assured.
