Fox News Anchor Ridiculed For Not Helping Panelist Who Fainted During Scary Live Interview
Panelist Camryn Kimsey had come on the show for a discussion about President Donald Trump and his predecessor, Joe Biden, but suddenly lost consciousness mid-speech.
Fortunately, Camryn Kimsey ended up gaining consciousness after being taken off set, although it remains unclear what exactly caused her to pass out.
Fox News "@Night" Thursday show took a surprising turn when panelist Camryn Kimsey suddenly passed out while being interviewed by Jonathan Hunt.
Now, Hunt is being bashed online for choosing to continue with the show rather than rushing to Kimsey's rescue during the incident.
"Fox News guest passes out. The anchor just sits there, offering no help. What a cold-hearted loser," a user commented.
"That is one useless anchor," another user commented in all caps, while a third described Hunt as a "real dip stick."
"Hey @FoxNews, hire some actual, real men as anchors. We hope Camryn is OK but your anchor is a complete douchebag," another individual remarked.
"Jonathan Hunt from FOX news has been elected 'P.O.S. of the week,'" another netizen said. "DUDE!!!! Man up and help the poor woman!!!"
Kimsey, who previously worked for Donald Trump in his last administration, had appeared on the show to discuss the differences between the president's ideologies and those of his predecessor.
Midway through her speech, she began stuttering briefly before abruptly stopping and falling off her chair to the floor, out of the camera's view.
"Ideology is where... It's not about uh," the political commentator uttered last before fainting.
Reacting to the incident, Hunt had a stunned look on his face and glanced several times at Kimsey lying on the floor before saying, "We're going to need some help here," in an attempt to alert the crew.
However, he made no move to stand up and assist Kimsey, who appeared unconscious on the studio floor. Instead, Hunt chose to continue the interview with another guest who was joining remotely.
Eventually, perhaps recognizing the misstep in his actions, he called for a break to allow the crew to attend to Kimsey.
Following the incident, Kimsey was confirmed to have regained consciousness during the commercial.
"Camryn is up and moving," Hunt told viewers after the commercial break, per E! News. "We have paramedics checking her. We will keep you updated. We wish her all the best."
"After Fox News @ Night guest Camryn Kinsey fainted during a live on-air appearance last night in our Los Angeles bureau, paramedics were called and she was treated and cleared. We are happy to hear she is now feeling much better and wish her a speedy recovery," a rep for Fox also informed the outlet.
It remains unclear what exactly caused her fainting episode, as she has yet to address the issue on any of her social media pages.
Kimsey's followers rushed to social media to express worry about her after she fainted during her chat with Hunt.
One person wrote, "I saw how you fainted on Fox News tonight. I hope you're okay. Please update us when you can. Praying for you. "
"Hope you feel better soon after tonight! Stay hydrated!" another person commented.
A third individual noted, "Praying for you!! I just saw what happened on TV and I hope you're okay!! I've had that happen to me as well, so you are not alone. I hope you feel better soon!!"
Kimsey's fainting incident comes days after she called for all taxes to be abolished.
"Abolish all taxes," the former White House official wrote at X, quoting her tweet where she made a similar remark about property taxes.
Days before, she had also questioned the importance of the IRS, asking, "Why does the IRS exist?"
The statement earned a lot of reactions from followers, with many giving their opinions.
"Nowadays, to squash economic growth and individual upward mobility. Capital gains is where you really get nailed," a user said.
"The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) exists primarily for one fundamental reason: to collect the tax revenue necessary to fund the operations of the United States federal government," another individual remarked.

Prosecuting Texas Democrats will be a 'challenge,' state's GOP AG says
Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott says he wants to oust and replace Democratic lawmakers who fled the state in an attempt to prevent Republican redistricting efforts and charge them with felonies. But that might be a challenge and take some time, the state's attorney general said Monday. Abbott said if legislators did not return to Texas by 3 p.m. CT, he would remove them then 'swiftly" fill the vacancies. "I believe they have forfeited their seats in the state legislature because they're not doing the job they were elected to do,' he said Monday on Fox News. Abbott said the Democrats could be committing felonies if they solicit funds to pay the $500 daily fines they face for skipping the session. Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton said those threats might not be practical. 'We'd have to go through a court process, and we'd have to file that maybe in districts that are not friendly to Republicans. So it's a challenge because every district would be different. We'd have to go sue in every legislator's home district,' Paxton said in a Monday interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson. Democratic Texas state Rep. Jolanda Jones, an attorney, said Abbott's threat was merely 'smoke and mirrors' during a press conference on Monday from Albany, New York. 'There is no felony in the Texas penal code for what he says. So respectfully, he's making up some s---,' Jones said. 'Subpoenas from Texas don't work in New York, so he's going to come get us how?' New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said at the news conference that Democrats were 'not breaking the law.' 'This is a legitimate process that has been used before,' Hochul said. Democratic Texas state Rep. Mihaela Plesa, also speaking from Albany, said Abbott is 'trying to manipulate the situation to make it play in his favor. It's not going to work.' Despite the challenge, Paxton said he was 'optimistic' the governor would prevail in the standoff with Democrats. Texas Democrats have said they plan to stay out of state until the end of this special session in two weeks, but Abbott is able to call another special session after that. 'If he keeps calling them back, it's going to be a challenge for all 51 of them to stay out of the state for the rest of their lives,' Paxton said.
