Taylor Swift
and
Travis Kelce
might just be in one of the happiest phases of their lives as the pop star recently broke her social media silence. Yesterday, the pop sensation, Taylor Swift, shocked her fans as she announced that after years of trying and going through a lot of struggles, she has finally bought back the rights of her first six albums.
Hours after this announcement, Taylor Swift's long time friend and co-songwriter,
Jack Antonoff
, posted a heartwarming video of the two on his social media but it is the pop star's cat, Meredith, that has taken all the spotlight.
Taylor Swift's cat, Meredith, makes a surprise appearance in Jack Antonoff's new video and fans are panicking
Jack Antonoff posted a video along with Taylor Swift as they are seen singing the lyrics of her popular song, Getaway Car.
Jack Antonoff sings, "I'm in a getaway car," as Taylor Swift is seen enjoying the song while holding on to her cat, Meredith.
She then sits her cat down and sings, "That was the last time you ever saw me.'
But all eyes are now on Taylor Swift's cat, Meredith. For the unversed, Meredith is Taylor Swift's oldest cat who she had adopted way back in 2011 and named her after her favourite character and the protagonist of the popular show, Grey's Anatomy.
Fans are now ecstatic to see a glimpse of Meredith in Jack Antonoff's new video. A fan commented, 'why is meredith being alive the most shocking thing here', while another fan joked, 'Dude I am sure Meredith has more money then all of us in comments combined, she can get best health care in the world 😭'
A third fan commented, 'jack hit us with the 'here, damn' for meredith and i am eternally thankful to him for that', while another user joked, 'LADY MEREDITH listening to not stolen tracks anymore.'
A fifth fan noted, 'the concept of meredith witnessing swiftie independence day'.
Are Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift making an important decision together?
As Taylor Swift announced she now own all the rights to her own songs, she also provided an update on Reputation (Taylor's Version).
The statement read as, '"I know, I know. What about Rep TV? Full transparency. I haven't even re-recorded a quarter of it.'
The statement added, 'The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it..."
Apart from this, Taylor Swift has kept quiet about her personal life. Recently, as per Daily Mail, a source had revealed that Travis Kelce and the pop star might take the next step in their relationship soon.

Justin Baldoni's Stunt Double Reveals Blake Lively's True Personality on 'Tense' It Ends With Us Set: 'Closed Off...'

Thomas Canestraro, who worked as Justin Baldoni's stunt double in It Ends with Us, has opened up about the tense atmosphere on set. In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Canestraro said, 'You could tell that the set was tense. There was some discomfort from everybody.' The actor and stuntman joined the production in early 2024 for what was supposed to be a five-day shoot. Instead, he stayed on set for two weeks. 'What I did experience was filming that was taking longer than expected,' he shared. 'Why are we taking so much time to film all of this scene? Why are we not on schedule?' Canestraro also spoke about Blake Lively's behavior during filming. He previously worked with her on A Simple Favor in 2018 and remembered the experience as easy and pleasant. However, in It Ends with Us, he noticed she was more closed off. During a promotional shoot years earlier, Canestraro had posed nearly nude for marketing images with Lively and found her to be very professional and considerate. 'It was an extremely easy time,' he said. 'She even made sure I had a bathroom after the shoot wrapped.' When he reunited with her for this film, he said that he was comfortable working with her again, but she seemed different. Canestraro didn't realize what was happening behind the scenes until Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Baldoni later filed a USD 400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, claiming defamation and interference. Looking back, Canestraro said the filming delays and on-set tension made more sense in hindsight. He mentioned that once the scandal became public, it helped to understand why production had taken longer than expected. He also reflected on Ryan Reynolds' presence on set, saying that while he initially thought it was a supportive gesture, he later wondered if Reynolds had been there because Blake Lively was already going through a difficult time. Canestraro shared that he hasn't kept in touch with Baldoni but remembered him as being extremely friendly during the shoot. He acknowledged that Baldoni has a family and suggested that the situation must be difficult for him. The stuntman made it clear he wasn't choosing sides. With a trial scheduled for March 2026, the legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively continues to attract attention and raise questions about what truly happened during the filming of It Ends with Us.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding 'under threat'; 'richest and most dangerous man in the world' is holding our home hostage, claim protestors

The much-anticipated wedding of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez , set for June 24 in Venice, is facing fierce backlash from residents and activists who claim the lavish event is turning the historic city into a "playground for the wealthy." The $10 million celebration, planned on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, has triggered protests over blocked streets, luxury hotel takeovers, and environmental concerns, threatening to disrupt the Floating City during its peak tourist season. Venice locals are furious Venetians are furious over the scale of the wedding, which has led to Bezos reserving five opulent hotels and every water taxi in the city, according to a Daily Mail report. Enhanced security measures, including a heavy police presence, closed streets, and restricted airspace, are expected to accommodate an A-list guest list of celebrities, politicians, and business tycoons. The disruptions coincide with Venice's busiest travel period, exacerbating tensions in a city already strained by mass tourism. Local activist group Laboratorio Occupato Morion, which describes itself as an "anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-racist, and trans-feminist political space," is leading the charge against the event. The group has planned a protest for this Friday near St. Mark's Square, with a larger demonstration scheduled for the wedding day. Their rallying cry, 'No space for Bezos, No space for oligarchs!' is emblazoned on flyers featuring Bezos' head atop a rocket, accusing him of treating Venice as a personal playground. 'Jeff Bezos believes he can purchase the entire city,' the group's flyer declares. 'Those who live in Venice on a daily basis are left with discomfort, exclusion, and precariousness.' What are concerns regarding Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez wedding The wedding's environmental impact is a major point of contention. Venice's fragile lagoon and polluted canals are already under strain from overtourism, and the arrival of private jets—though Bezos' four Gulfstream jets will be joined by others—adds to the city's carbon footprint. His $500 million superyacht, Koru, cannot dock near Venice due to its size, but the influx of guests is expected to further stress the city's delicate ecosystem. 'Bezos embodies what this city and global movements have been fighting against for decades—a financial and technological oligarchy that exploits workers, the planet, and entire territories,' said Alice Bazzoli, a spokesperson for Laboratorio Occupato Morion, in an interview with the Daily Mail. The group views the wedding as a symbol of growing inequality and the commodification of Venice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site struggling to preserve its cultural and environmental heritage. Full week of protests planned The protests last week is said to be just the beginning, with Laboratorio Occupato Morion planning a series of smaller events in the week leading up to the wedding, culminating in a major demonstration on June 24. Activists argue that the event highlights the broader issue of Venice being overtaken by wealthy elites, leaving locals feeling marginalized in their own city. City officials have not yet commented on the protests or the wedding's logistical arrangements, but the growing unrest signals a clash between Venice's residents and the global elite. As the wedding date approaches, all eyes are on whether Bezos and Sanchez's celebration will proceed as planned or face significant disruptions from an increasingly vocal opposition.
