The next Fan Edition smartphone is not coming from Samsung
Vivo X200 FE has the same specs as the S30 Pro Mini | Image credit: YTECHB.com Samsung has found a way to make its 'flagship killers' stand out by attaching a special 'Fan Edition' tag to their names. These phones are slightly dumbed down versions of the company's popular flagships and are meant to offer a similar premium experience to those who can't afford Samsung's top-tier devices.Vivo seems to have learned the lesson and decided to launch its own 'FE' version of a flagship, the X200 FE. This is the same phone that Vivo launches in China as S30 Pro Mini, which is now being released worldwide.
The X200 FE will be initially introduced in Taiwan on June 23, followed by a wider global rollout starting on June 30. A new report claims the phone will be available in four colors: Black, Blue, Pink, and Yellow. European customers will be able to pick this one up for no less than €850, which seems a bit pricy for a 'flagship killer.' Since this has already been released in China, we know everything there is to know about its specs. For starters, the X200 FE is equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which made its debut about a year ago. Vivo's high-end phone packs 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The large 6,500 mAh battery supports 90W wired charging speeds. There are three cameras on the back side: 50-megapixel main, 50-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide. Also, the X200 FE features a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front side.
Vivo X200 FE is a lot more expensive than its Chinese counterpart | Image credit: YTECHB.com The X200 FE is a rather compact smartphone, which is why it sports a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with 1216 x 2640 pixels resolution, and 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate.
Other highlights of the phone include Android 15, IP68/IP69 ratings, under display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers. Vivo X200 FE lacks microSD card support, so you'll be stuck with the default storage.
On paper, Vivo X200 FE is a pretty decent high-end smartphone, but the price might remove it from everyone's wishlists. Just for reference, the cheapest version of S30 Pro Mini was priced to sell for 3,500 yuan ($485/€420) in China, so an €850 retail price in Europe might kill it on arrival.

Here's the chipset powering the Nothing Phone (3)
Nothing is continuing its ongoing teaser campaign for the Phone (3), billed by the brand as its first-ever true flagship smartphone. It's going to be fully unveiled on July 1 in London alongside the Nothing Headphone (1). Today, Nothing has finally revealed one of the most important pieces of the Phone (3) puzzle: the chipset it's using. And it's the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Everything enhanced. With the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. — Nothing (@nothing) June 17, 2025 So it's not the Snapdragon 8 Elite, nor MediaTek's Dimensity 9400/9400+, which are currently the top dogs in the Android SoC industry. But its performance is still not far behind, and the choice of the 8s Gen 4 will, we assume, ensure a lower total bill of materials for the device that is rumored to be priced at $800. It will also still be the highest-performing chipset Nothing has ever used, that's undeniable. The device is expected to give up on the Glyph LED lights on the rear, instead replacing them with a dot-matrix display which will be much more customizable (if recent rumors are accurate). Since even the mid-range Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro come with triple rear cameras (main, ultrawide, telephoto), we expect the Phone (3) to have a similar setup, but of course with better sensors. Carl Pei reacts to the Trump T1 phone: "We're cooked"
The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you would ever look, and for the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) – that means the White House. No, it's not Trump's administration that holds some kind of grudge against Carl Pei's next flagship. Nothing Phone (3) is expected at the beginning of July, if you're wondering. It's just that President Trump is about to launch his own smartphone, the T1 Phone that we told you about mere hours Trump T1 Phone is expected to arrive with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, and – most importantly – support for microSD cards to expand storage further. That's a nice one, and I'm not being sarcastic about it. The T1 Phone will allegedly include a 5,000mAh battery and a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh OK, but so far there isn't any information about its chipset – the "brain" that drives it all. The price is reportedly set at $499 and the phone will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Nothing Phone (3) , on the other hand, could come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset… or the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Elite (the one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra). It is expected to include a larger battery, potentially exceeding 5,000mAh, although the exact capacity has not yet been confirmed. This would mark an improvement over the 4,700mAh battery found in the Nothing Phone (2), which supported both 45W wired and 15W wireless suggest the new model will offer 12 GB of RAM as a baseline, with one version pairing that with 256 GB of internal storage. Image source – X Carl Pei (being Carl Pei ) reacted to the Trump T1 Phone by calling it a "competition" for the Nothing Phone (3) on his X account. His X followers didn't hesitate to join the fun by commenting on the T1 Phone in a very Trump-like tone: Image source – X All in all, it will be a fun comparison once the two phones materialize!
