So if you're struggling to lose weight and don't want to rely on fat jabs, then you've come to the right place.
Posting on social media, the 5ft 1inch blonde beauty, who topped the scales at 12 stone 6 lbs in November 2024 but since May 2025 weighs just 8 stone, got candid on 'healing her relationship with food' and shared exactly how many steps she does every single day to stay looking trim.
Never counting calories
In a short clip uploaded online, Ellie got candid on her weight loss and revealed that the first piece of advice she swears by is to never count calories but instead, to be calorie mindful.
She said: 'I've never counted calories, I wanted it to be sustainable and that won't be sustainable for me, I do portion control and be calorie mindful - I don't cut out any food groups, if I want to have chocolate I will, I'll just have it in a smaller portion.'
Healthy mindset
Secondly, Ellie stressed the importance of learning about food groups and grasping a healthy mindset.
But having said this, she claimed adopting this mentality can be 'the hardest thing' for many.
Start as you mean to go on
Additionally, Ellie starts the day off as she means to go on and instead of downing hot chocolates and chomping on croissants first thing in the morning, she has green tea and water, to encourage healthy habits throughout the day.
Fasting
Not only this, but the fourth piece of advice Ellie lives by is having a smaller window of eating.
The influencer recognised that she doesn't start eating until 2pm, as she acknowledged that once she starts, she 'won't stop.'
Get moving
Not only this, but exercise is key for Ellie, as she shared her fifth and vital part of weight loss.
I'm a 'former fatty' who lost 12 stone WITHOUT jabs - being slim means I don't have to eat in the car to avoid judgement
She added: 'Walking is what really did it for me - obviously exercise is so tailored to your lifestyle - I unintentionally do 20,000 steps a day because I've got a manual job.'
Ellie claimed that she tried going to the gym but was left feeling 'burnt out.'
However, the weight started 'falling off' her when she increased her steps from 10,000 to 20,000 a day.
Zero calorie fizzy drinks
As well as walking, Ellie also praised Coke Zero as a helping hand in her weight loss.
She claimed that every time she wants a sweet treat, she will instead ship a zero calorie drink to help her 'look past' her cravings.
Stay hydrated
And not only does she like a fizzy drink from time to time, but she also drinks lots of water too.
Once you start looking after yourself and putting yourself at number one, it will equate to all aspects of your life

Eating right
Following this, Ellie revealed her eighth piece of advice, as she stressed: 'Don't eat too little - when I first started my weight loss journey I had such a low food intake, I was angry, irritable and wasn't moving as much, but when I started eating more and the right stuff with the right nutrients, I started moving more and it actually started falling off quicker than when I was eating less.'
Push the plate back
Ellie then explained how learning to 'push the plate back' has also helped her to lose weight.
The NHS 12-step plan to help you lose weight
FROM faddy diets to dodgy detoxes - most of us have heard it all before when it comes to weight loss.
But burning fat can be easy and mostly free.
In fact, the NHS has a whole load of medically-approved tips for weight loss and shedding body fat once and for all... Don't skip breakfast
Skipping breakfast will not help you lose weight. You could miss out on essential nutrients and you may end up snacking more throughout the day because you feel hungry. Eat regular meals
Eating at regular times during the day helps burn calories at a faster rate. It also reduces the temptation to snack on foods high in fat and sugar. Eat plenty of fruit and veg
Fruit and veg are low in calories and fat, and high in fibre – 3 essential ingredients for successful weight loss. They also contain plenty of vitamins and minerals. Get more active
Being active is key to losing weight and keeping it off. As well as providing lots of health benefits, exercise can help burn off the excess calories you cannot lose through diet alone. Drink lots of water
People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. You can end up consuming extra calories when a glass of water is really what you need. Eat high fibre foods
Foods containing lots of fibre can help keep you feeling full, which is perfect for losing weight. Fibre is only found in food from plants, such as fruit and veg, oats, wholegrain bread, brown rice and pasta, and beans, peas and lentils. Read food labels
Knowing how to read food labels can help you choose healthier options. Use the calorie information to work out how a particular food fits into your daily calorie allowance on the weight loss plan. Use a smaller plate
Using smaller plates can help you eat smaller portions. By using smaller plates and bowls, you may be able to gradually get used to eating smaller portions without going hungry. It takes about 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it's full, so eat slowly and stop eating before you feel full. Don't ban foods
Do not ban any foods from your weight loss plan, especially the ones you like. Banning foods will only make you crave them more. There's no reason you cannot enjoy the occasional treat as long as you stay within your daily calorie allowance. Don't stock junk food
To avoid temptation, do not stock junk food – such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweet fizzy drinks – at home. Instead, opt for healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn, and fruit juice. Cut down on alcohol
A standard glass of wine can contain as many calories as a piece of chocolate. Over time, drinking too much can easily contribute to weight gain. Plan your meals
Try to plan your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week, making sure you stick to your calorie allowance. You may find it helpful to make a weekly shopping list.
'It took me so long to unlearn the behaviour of eating everything just because it's on my plate - if I'm genuinely hungry obviously eat the lot, but I've now learnt if I'm not hungry I'm just eating it because it's there,' she shared.
Put yourself first
Finally, this content creator stressed the importance of taking care of yourself and putting yourself first, as she concluded: ' Once you start looking after yourself and putting yourself at number one, it will equate to all aspects of your life.'
Social media users react
Ellie's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @elliehornettx, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 83,700 views, 4,916 likes and 145 comments.
Social media users were gobsmacked by Elie's jaw-dropping weight loss and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.

Fat jabs gave me misshapen boobs & an apron belly – I looked 50 but mummy makeover gave me the body of a 20 year old

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A WOMAN who was left with a 'turkey neck' after losing three stone on weight loss jabs is finally comfortable in her own skin after getting a £10,000 'mummy makeover' abroad. Victoria Vigors decided to have a tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, face lift and neck lift after using Mounjaro - a prescription injection used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity - to slim down. But now she's never been happier - and says she looks better today than she did aged 20. 'I was very self-conscious about my fupa,' the mum, who is a content creator with 270,000 followers, revealed. 'My tummy overhung because I had a caesarean with my daughter, so it left a scar that my stomach would fall over. 'It was really obvious - I would wear tight-fitting clothing, and you could just see I had a really unnatural-looking belly. I hated it. 'My boobs felt misshapen, and one was much bigger than the other. 'And where I had lost weight on Mounjaro - the skin around my neck was like a turkey. 'It was all saggy, and I hated my jowls. 'I just felt old and unattractive.' Victoria, from Kent, said people used to stare at her stomach and even make comments. I spent £75k to turn myself into a 'yummy mummy' - not only am I now more confident in a bikini, but a better parent too She said: 'I've been called 'flabby belly' online. 'People would say I looked more like 50. 'My side profile would show my sagging neck, and people would point it out. 'As much as my daughter would joke, she would also call me 'jelly belly' and poke my stomach. 'I'd been on Mounjaro for ages and eating really healthily, so I felt fantastic on the inside. 'But on the outside, my confidence was at an all-time low.' 15 Victoria said she had a turkey neck¿ after losing three stone on weight loss jabs Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 Victoria after undergoing a face and neck lift Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 Victoria says she has now wound back the clock Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ After speaking to friends and getting recommendations, Victoria found Revitalize in Turkey. She spoke to the clinic and was told about a £10,000 'mummy makeover'. The mum booked in for surgery and flew out just 10 days later. She said: 'Weirdly enough, I didn't feel anxious at all about going in. 'I was just so excited. 'I was already staying at the villa with loads of people who'd already had surgery and were recovering. 'They were all looking great already, so I wasn't nervous. 'I was a bit more stressed going into having my face done because obviously that's my face, and if that goes wrong, then I'm stuck with it. 'But I'd seen other people's results, which looked great.' 15 Before the surgery, Victoria would cover her tummy in photos Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 Victoria after a full mummy makeover surgery Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ DAY OF THE SURGERY Victoria's first surgery was for her tummy tuck, liposuction and breast lift. She said: 'I woke up feeling very groggy, and the pain in my stomach was unreal. 'It'd hurt even more when I moved or coughed. 'I was in and out of sleep for a while, so I was a bit confused at times, but the next day they encouraged me to get up and see if I could start walking. 'I didn't feel any pain in my boobs whatsoever - it was all in my belly. 'I had drains in to collect any blood that was still coming out, and then they showed me a bit of my stomach that they cut away. "It looked like a slab of fatty pork - I asked them to bin it!' Five days later, she was taken in for the second surgery for her face and neck lift. 15 The 40-year-old after her face and neck lift Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ She said: 'Waking up, my face felt really painful and tight. 'I had massive quilting stitches all over my face and neck, which looked like bicycle tyre tracks. 'I was told they were to help direct the blood flow and drain any excess, but they were really uncomfortable and itchy. 'The first 24 hours were really painful, but then after that it eased off and just felt tight and numb.' 15 After speaking to friends and getting recommendations, Victoria found Revitalize in Turkey Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ SURGERY RECOVERY Victoria had a check-up two days later and was allowed to go home five days later. She said: 'I was really nervous to see the results of my facelift as I had to keep the support on for four weeks, as well as the compression garments on my abdomen. 'I also had to keep my boobs strapped for six weeks. 'But once I could take them off, I was over the moon. 'My tummy had gone down and was so flat. 'My boobs looked great, and my face even better. 'I was like, wow, this is my body now!' The mummy makeover would have cost £10,000 - but Tracy paid a discounted rate. 15 Delighted Victoria said friends and family have been 'super supportive' of her new look Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 The mummy makeover would have cost £10,000 - but Tracy paid a discounted rate Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ BOOSTED CONFIDENCE She is overjoyed with her new look, and her friends and family have been 'super supportive'. Victoria said: 'They just can't believe how great I look. 'I went to a baby shower a couple of weeks ago, where I hadn't seen some of the girls there for a long time. 'And one of them walked straight past me, didn't even realise it was me, and then she was like, 'Oh my god, look at you now - the glow-up is real.' 'Now I can wear little belly tops, cocktail dresses, tight clothing, and not feel self-conscious anymore. 'I'm super happy. 'There is a lot of pressure for you to be perfect. 'Of course, nobody can be, but this is my idea of perfect to me.' In May, Victoria re-visited the clinic to have laser eye surgery and turkey teeth fitted. 15 In May, Victoria headed back to get turkey teeth Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 Victoria during the procedure Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ 15 The mum was delighted with the results Credit: Jam Press/@uk_victoria_ She said: 'I had 20 porcelain crowns and my eyes done. 'My vision is incredible, and my teeth are perfect. 'My face looks lovely.' TIMELINE OF SURGERY 10 March - First surgery on tummy tuck, liposuction and breast lift. 15 March - Second surgery on neck and face lift. 20 March - Flew home back to the UK. 7 May - Turkey teeth and laser eye surgery. 20 September - Labiaplasty and breast implants. MORE SURGERY Victoria plans on visiting for the final time in September to have breast implants and a labiaplasty. She said: 'I was supposed to have breast implants when I was there in March, but they said doing that, as well as a lift, was a no-go. 'My blood count was too low when I went for blood tests, so the surgeon said he couldn't do my implants at the same time. Now I can wear little belly tops, cocktail dresses, tight clothing, and not feel self-conscious anymore Victoria Vigors 'Now I've given my boobs some time to rest - then I'll be going back. 'I'm super excited for my labiaplasty. 'After having two children, one of my labia appears bigger than the other one. 'I want it to be more levelled out and neat. 'Now, my face is done, my body looks great, it is just those final things.'

'Ghost lashes' are the latest makeup trend - but Gen Z think it's a recession indicator

TikTok's latest lash trend has been leaving users divided, with some championing the clean girl look, while others think the lowkey style is linked to an economic downturn They might sound scary, but 'ghost lashes' are an emerging beauty trend – and no it doesn't involve painting them white. Instead, the trend refers to opting for a much softer mascara (or even no-mascara look). Now, some on social media are arguing that it's another recession indicator. ‌ If you've been scrolling through social media over the past few months, you'll probably have seen several prominent celebrities like Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber and Addison Rae sporting very pared-back eye looks. It's also gained traction on TikTok, with the trend gaining millions of views over the past month. ‌ But while many online have been celebrating the more lowkey look, with some even joking it's 'a win for the lazy girl community', others think it's more closely linked to a recession. 'Ghost lashes really are grasping,' one TikTok user said. Another wrote in a caption: 'It's a trend to cover up how less people can afford to spend more money on themselves have to resort to strategic expenditure.' ‌ READ MORE: 'I switched my perfume to a cheaper alternative - and I've never had so many compliments' However, Saffron Hughes, professional makeup artist at believes it's closely linked to an increased emphasis on skincare and hair health – which has resulted in simpler makeup looks. She says: 'There's a growing awareness around lash care. Clients are asking how to strengthen their natural lashes or give them a break from daily mascara. Ghost lashes meet that need. They work with your natural lashes rather than against them.' ‌ Additionally, the look also wears better in the UK's recent spate of hot weather. 'In heat, mascara can smudge or feel sticky,' she adds. 'Ghost lashes are breathable. They're ideal for beach days, city heat, or just a more laid-back vibe.' How Saffron recommends first starting off with a completely clean base. She says: 'Any leftover product or oil will stop them from curling properly. Micellar water is ideal as it cleans without irritating the eyes.' ‌ Equally, since the look relies on healthy well-conditioned lashes, Saffron suggests using a serum to help, which can add 'strength, shine and flexibility.' She adds: 'I tell clients to use it every night for at least four weeks. That consistency makes all the difference.' The next step is to go in with your lash curler. Saffron says to aim for a 'soft lift' rather than a more dramatic bend. She explains: "Start at the base and pulse gently upwards. Heated curlers give a smoother result, but even a classic curler will work if you're careful.' For more stories like this subscribe to our weekly newsletter, The Weekly Gulp, for a curated roundup of trending stories, poignant interviews, and viral lifestyle picks from The Mirror's Audience U35 team delivered straight to your inbox. ‌ After this, you can go in with a mascara if you wish. While some people are skipping lash-defining tool entirely, Saffron adds that you can still add a little definition by opting for a clear or brown formula. She says: 'Apply from the roots to the middle of the lashes only. It stops the tips from looking too thick.' Of course, the rest of your eye makeup is important, too. Saffron suggests staying clear of bold eyeshadow or eyeliner, which 'will distract from the softness of ghost lashes'. If you still want to add something a little extra, she recommends tapping a small amount of cream highlighter into the inner corners to brighten the eye without overpowering it. ‌ However, if it's all sounding like a bit too much effort for everyday, Saffron says you can also opt for a lash lift and tint which can give you a curl and colour which lasts for weeks. She says: 'I recommend it to clients going on holiday or anyone wanting less maintenance.'

Can you tell our age and how many kids we've had just by our cleavage? The free tricks we use to keep perky…

No one would guess Liz Hurley's mother was 85 as she posed in a revealing leopard-print swimsuit with her model daughter AGELESS CURVES Can you tell our age and how many kids we've had just by our cleavage? The free tricks we use to keep perky… Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT'S hard to believe Liz Hurley's mother is 85 as she poses in this revealing leopard-print swimsuit with her daughter. Angela Hurley flaunted ageless curves in the £145 Savannah one-piece from Liz's own range. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 7 Elizabeth Hurley and mum Angela showcased their ageless figures in leopard print But what stood out most was her cleavage, which is incredibly full and perky for her age, with no evidence of sagging. Consultant dermatologist Dr Thuva Amuthan says it's often one of the first areas to show signs of ageing as the skin is 'thinner and often neglected'. Here, three women pose in costumes from Next. But does their cleavage give away their age? They also discuss their busts with Lynsey Hope. Kiin Buono 7 Can you guess the age of Kiin from her cleavage? She says: 'My boobs have definitely become fuller as I have got older and it does make me feel more feminine to have a cleavage. I notice people glancing at them sometimes. 'I'm originally from Somaliland and I use an old home remedy called Qasil, a green powder. You mix it with water and let it sit on your skin for about half an hour. Other than that, I don't do much in terms of skincare. I try to eat healthily, I drink lots of water and I have a dog I walk twice a day. 'People often compliment my boobs and say I have a lovely shape. "Perhaps it's genetics. A lot of women my age from Somalia have great skin and look younger than they are. They don't wear make-up and only use natural products. It definitely does the trick!' Carolyn Matthews 7 Does Carolyn's cleavage give away her age? She says: 'Growing up, my boobs were tiny. I wore a B cup, but in reality I was only an A. I was just too embarrassed to buy that size. I used to get called 'little t*ts'. It wasn't meant in a nasty way, but it did get to me. 'I had my children when I was 23 and 30 and, when I was pregnant, I had lovely big boobs and a lovely cleavage. I breastfed, but when I stopped they shrunk again and were even smaller than before. 'Then, in my early 40s, I started going through menopause. My periods stopped when I was 50 and my boobs suddenly got bigger. By the time I turned 52, I had gone up to a 34D. I was so happy I almost cried and I bought lots of lovely new lingerie. 'I call them 'my girls' and love wearing a bikini. I show them off loud and proud.' Cim Ashton 7 Can you tell what Cim's age is from her cleavage? She says: 'I was the skinniest girl at school and flat-chested. Everyone used to call me twiggy or stick and I hated it. 'I put on weight and my boobs got bigger when I had children aged 30. I'd buy snacks for the children and end up eating them myself, like many mums do. I looked better with curves and felt more womanly. 'I'm still only a size 12 and my boobs are now a massive 34FF. They have sagged a bit as I got older, but they haven't hit my waistline yet. 'People will often say I look young for my age and I try to stay fit, which also helps with my mental health. 'I give everything a go. Swimming, in particular, helps keep my body toned, and if you hold your stomach in and stand up straight, your boobs instantly look better.'
