New show in Great Yarmouth tackles child exploitation by gangs
She said the show was a blend of physical theatre, parkour and bike stunts, with live rap and music.Ms Meinhardt said: "We noticed that young people really respond to those art forms."[The play] has a really beautiful and touching story based on true events."There were more than 3,200 knife offences committed by children in England and Wales in the year ending March 2024, according to the Youth Justice Board's annual statistics. This figure is 20% greater than a decade ago, but 6% fewer than the previous year and the sixth consecutive year-on-year decrease.
Ms Meinhardt said she wanted the play to highlight the signs of grooming and help people understand the challenges young people have been faced with.Since its first tour in 2023, Justice in Motion has worked with more than 6,000 young people and its work has been viewed by more than 20,000 spectators. But Ms Meinhardt hoped the group's shows will be watched by an extra 30,000 people in the next year.Marcus Smith, also known as Matic Mouth, is a rapper from Sheffield who is performing in the show. He said: "We need to help the children and support them rather than criminalise them and charge them with things they might not have much of information with first-hand anyway."
Lauren, a teenager who is performing in the show, said: "It's a really important show to share.""It's opened my eyes. Throughout the show you get the story of Nicky who is this innocent kid."Her mum Becky said the performance was really "moving and emotional"."The child doesn't realise what they're getting involved with until it's too late."For younger children and parents it's about spotting the signs for grooming before the child gets sucked in too deep. "Kids who are involved in these situations, it's not because their parents love them less or because people aren't doing a good enough job as a parent."It's very intentional and scary how they get sucked in."

Loose Women star dresses up as a granny in a grey permed wig and makeshift BBL as she celebrates her birthday in London
Loose Women star GK Barry dressed up as a granny in a grey curly wig as she celebrated her 26th birthday at The Prince in London on Saturday night. The TikTok star, whose real name is Grace Keeling, revealed on Instagram that she was thrown the surprise celebration by footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford. Grace looked thrilled to dress up as 'Nana GK' as she donned a patterned dress with a pink cardigan as she partied with friends. She rocked the grey permed wig with pink curlers in and accessoried with pink framed glasses, comfortable white shoes and a pearl necklace. The I'm A Celebrity star sipped on prosecco as she posed with a blow up walking stick and a zimmer frame. In one picture, Grace pulled up her long dress flashing a jumper stuck to her bottom creating a fake BBL as she penned: '#Nosurgery and #haterswillsayitspadding'. She flashed her gorgeous smile as she blew out the candles on her huge cake before playing beer pong and being lifted into the air by her pals. Ella also treated Grace to a giant LED 'HBDGRACE' letters which were displayed in the pub as well as a personalised 'Grace is 26' photo board and pink balloons. The ITV star was also joined by I'm A Celebrity co-star Melvin Odoom during the bash, who opted to avoid fancy dress in a white T-shirt. She wrote: 'Surprise bday party for nana gk x thank u to @theprincelondon for having us and sorry for what you witnessed'. It comes after Grace broke her silence on the upcoming ITV cuts and has revealed whether viewers can expect to still see her on their screens. It was revealed back in May that the show has been axed for half of the year and Lorraine's runtime has been slashed by 30 minutes, as Daytime bosses announced cuts with job losses in excess of 220. According to insiders, once ITV's budget cuts come into effect in January, Loose Women will no longer have A-list guests in the studio, and the broadcast is planned to only consist of the panel debating newsworthy topics from the week. Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Grace has revealed she has no plans to leave the show. She explained: 'I think so, I think I'm still on. I'm pretty sure I'm still there. Obviously the cuts are such a shame, but I'm very glad that Loose Women is still able to be on because I think it's so important to have a women-led show on.' Grace is the youngest ever panellist to appear on Loose Women and was born in the year the ITV daytime show started. Reflecting on her time on the show since joining in 2024, Grace added: 'I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified on my first episode. 'I was like, "None of these women know me, are they gonna think I'm weird," but hand on heart, they are the loveliest women I have ever met in my life. They are so welcoming, and it's just such a fun show. 'I think it's important to have a show on the telly that is all women-based, and it's one of the few that is. The audience are amazing. They always give it large, and you get to speak your mind and no one judges you for it, which is nice.' 'People believe it's just women arguing, but every time I've had a differing opinion on the panel, they're just like, 'that's cool,' no one's had a problem with it.' The influencer has seen her career skyrocket since jetting off to Australia last November for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Grace finished in fifth place and was evicted on day 20 of the competition, while McFly's Danny Jones went on to win the ITV show. Grace is once again taking her popular podcast Saving Grace to venues across the UK as part of a Jungle Fever Tour special. The show promises a 'night of feral fun' with gossip, special surprises, and celebrity guests. Grace has also been focusing on charity work and recently visited C9 the Teenage Cancer Trust ward at Addenbrooke's Hospital. She was joined by girlfriend and professional footballer Ella Rutherford to meet cancer staff and bring joy to young people on the unit. Grace went viral after she shared a video showing off what she really looked like behind the glamour of carefully edited Instagram - and it sparked a trend of other influencers doing the same. The video racked up almost 94,000 likes, and social media users from around the world then began replicating the video and using her voiceover to expose how they actually look when posting online. She soon gained a huge following and within a year, had amassed a whopping one million followers on the video-sharing platform. At present, she now has a huge 4.1million followers on TikTok and an impressive 1.8million fans on Instagram. Cambridge-born Grace went on to create her own podcast, Saving Grace, in April 2022 and has interviewed numerous celebrities including Coleen Nolan, Olivia Bowen and Alan Carr. In early 2024, GK took the podcast, which is also uploaded as a vodcast on YouTube, on a sold-out tour around the country.

Emmerdale star reveals she's pregnant with third child in emotional post NOTES Grab of the scan The ITV screen star said I Do to partner Adam Whitehead in a stunning ceremony in Manchester, earlier this year, after it was confirmed her "affair partner" made the guest list. On-screen, Isabel, 31, has played Emmerdale 's Victoria Sugden since 2006 - and the beauty confirmed a host of her co-stars had witnessed their nuptials at the city's Castlefield Rooms in April. She let slip details of her special day a month on, including the 63-strong guest list, how she did her own speech and that Adam even forgot her name during the vows. In 2023, Isabel announced she was engaged to her boyfriend. Real-life soap couples Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling. Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding. Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed. Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together. Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand." Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny." Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie. Jane Danson and Robert Beck Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson. Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage. Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie. Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022. And two years later they made it down the aisle watched by her co-stars. Eden Taylor Draper was a bridesmaid while Danny Miller, Mark Jordon, Laura Norton, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry were all in attendance.

Maisie Smith breaks down in tears in live interview on Sunday Brunch as she's supported by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer
EX-EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith shocked Sunday Brunch viewers by breaking down in tears live on air. The 24-year-old actress made an appearance on the light-hearted cooking show to promote her upcoming stint in a stage adaptation of The Talented Mr Ripley, but was asked about various aspects of her life and career by hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. 3 3 However, as the pair grilled her about her time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins back in 2022, Maisie found herself overcome with emotion as she watched back clips of the harrowing challenges. But it seems three years on the memories are still fresh in the star's mind, and while she said it was 'the best thing she's ever done' she said: 'It was worse than you could even imagine. When I watched it back, there's so much more that they didn't even show. 'When we had mic packs, when they'd change the packs, you weren't allowed to talk. It was severe. There was never 'cut, cast can chill for a bit.' 'It was intense. Brutal.' Maisie eventually won the show when she participated in the endurance challenge – joining Calum Best, Ferne McCanne and AJ Pritchard to pass the test. Though she noted that her experience, which was set in the deserts of Jordan, took a toll on her physically and mentally, before bursting into tears. As Simon and Tim awkwardly rallied around her, she said: 'I was so young. I was 19, and it was such a big challenge. I'm proud of myself.' The latest series of Celebrity SAS is currently airing, and after just two episodes, four of the cast have already quit. S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt was first to go, followed by Louie Spence, and then Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows quit within minutes of each other during a trek up a hill. Tasha has since refused to even acknowledge her time on the show, and said at the time of her exit she 'wasn't there mentally' to do it. Who Dares Wins in chaos as two more stars quit within A MINUTE of each other The series is set to continue tonight with more stars expected to bite the dust and voluntarily withdraw. 10 still remain in the game, which is set to get even more brutal as the annual boxing challenge takes place. Those still in the running include drag artist Bimini, Rebecca Loos, Love Island's Adam Collard and The Traitors winner Harry Clark.
