As Anupamaa prepares for the welcome ceremony, Aryan is seen excusing himself, saying that he needs to use the washroom. Instead, he sneaks into a room and consumes drugs given to him by his friends.
Anupamaa, in the meantime, was finding a box of vermilion (sindoor). Recalling that the box is in her room, she enters inside and sees Aryan in an intoxicated state. He can be seen lying on the floor with the packet of drugs in hand and whispering, 'Kya kamaal ka maal hai (It's an amazing drug)."
