Gaza Civil Defense: Zionist Enemy Prevents Us from Reaching Dozens of Trapped Individuals

Saba Yemen6 days ago
Gaza - Saba:
The Civil Defense in northern Gaza stated that Zionist enemy forces are preventing its crews from reaching those trapped under the rubble, and it is unable to respond to all distress calls.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the Civil Defense repeatedly appealed to international organizations to coordinate the movement of its teams, adding, 'But we receive no response in most cases, and there are dozens of people trapped under the debris.'
It confirmed that its crews are fully prepared to work with dedication and sincerity, but field conditions impose restrictions in order to ensure the safety of personnel.
Since October 7, 2023, Zionist enemy forces, with American support, have been committing genocide in Gaza — involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement — while ignoring international appeals and the rulings of the International Court of Justice to stop the aggression.

Brazil becomes 6th Latin American Nation to join South Africa's genocide case against Occupation

Brasília – Saba: Brazil has announced its intention to join South Africa's case against Israeli Occupation at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which accuses the occupation of committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira confirmed on Tuesday that his country is in the process of completing the necessary legal procedures to intervene in the case as a third party, with an official announcement expected soon, according to al-Quds Press. Vieira noted that Brazil had previously pushed for a peaceful resolution and a ceasefire in Gaza, but recent developments in the conflict prompted the government to take a clear legal stance. Brazil's announcement brings the number of Latin American nations supporting the case to six. Five others have already submitted official requests to join South Africa's legal action, which was filed in response to Israeli aggression ongoing military assault on Gaza that began on October 7, 2023. Nicaragua was the first Latin American country to join the case, submitting its request on February 16, 2024, and asserting in its legal memorandum that the situation in Gaza constitutes a grave violation of the 1948 Genocide Convention. It urged the court to hold Israel fully accountable for its actions. In April 2024, Colombia followed suit, citing the need to defend the Palestinian people's right to life and dignity and to ensure accountability for crimes against civilians. Chile officially joined the case on September 13, 2024, following a June announcement by President Gabriel Boric in parliament expressing support for South Africa's legal initiative, describing the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza as requiring strong international legal action. Bolivia joined the case on October 9, 2024, affirming its full support for legal efforts to hold Israel responsible for atrocities in Gaza. Cuba submitted a formal declaration of intervention on January 13, 2025, backing South Africa's claims and denouncing what it described as Israel's 'serious and systematic violations of international humanitarian law.' Brazil's decision makes it the sixth Latin American country to announce plans to join the case, raising the total number of participating Latin American states to six—among at least 15 countries worldwide that have formally requested to intervene so far. The ICJ had issued a provisional order on January 26, 2024, calling on Israel to take all possible measures to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza, including ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid and stopping incitement to hatred. While the Court has yet to rule on the merits of the case, it determined that South Africa's claims were plausible enough to justify urgent provisional measures—prompting many nations to seek participation as third parties. South Africa originally filed the case on December 29, 2023, accusing the entity of violating the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide through its ongoing military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in tens of thousands of civilian deaths, most of them women and children. Palestinian Mujahideen Movement: Starvation of Children, Sick People in Gaza Disgrace to Humanity

Gaza - Saba: The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement considered the famine experienced by the Palestinian people in Gaza and the starvation of children and sick people a disgrace to humanity and the silent international community. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the movement strongly condemned "the international silence regarding the Zionist enemy's continued policy of killing through brutal bombing, starvation, and a stifling siege against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, where famine has reached dangerous levels threatening the lives of two million Palestinians in Gaza." The movement emphasized that "the inhumane US aid distribution mechanism is one of the tools used to tighten the siege, starvation, and abuse against the Palestinian people, in addition to being a death trap for the starving." The movement stated that "the use of starvation policies for the purpose of cheap political blackmail and breaking the will of the Palestinian people, along with the brutal crime of genocide, is a manifestation of the ugliest forms of brutality against humanity in Palestine." The movement held the US administration and the silent international institutions fully responsible for the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people through its policy of starvation, brutal siege, and continued genocidal massacres. It called on "Arab and Islamic countries to break the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip, whose people are subjected to the most heinous policies of starvation and genocide," calling for the urgent opening of the Rafah crossing and the entry of withheld aid. It also called on "the peoples of our nation to fulfill their role and exert all possible pressure in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, who are paying the price for their resistance to the Zionist project that threatens the entire nation."

DFLP: More than 130 martyrs... and hunger is sweeping across children, women, elderly

Gaza - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) confirmed that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 130, including approximately 80 victims of "death traps" where the American company distributes food supplies. Eighteen children have also died from starvation and lack of milk and medicine. The DFLP said in a statement on Monday, carried by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "What is happening in the Gaza Strip has gone beyond the bounds of massacre and has turned into a daily killing spree, during which the enemy army and its fascist leadership boast about flexing their muscles, disregarding the international community, its laws, and its conventions. They are condescending to the calls of international institutions, including the United Nations, and defying the will of humanity calling for an end to the flow of Palestinian blood at the hands of settlers wearing combat fatigues, sheltering in their war machines, protected by US aircraft and its shameful stance in the Security Council." The Democratic Front added: "The humanitarian tragedy taking place in the Gaza Strip is beyond description, and the human suffering is heartbreaking, especially the crying of children searching through the garbage, in full view and hearing of the world, for something to eat, after food has become a precious commodity and impossible to obtain." The Democratic Front called for "a humanitarian revolution, with our people in the West Bank, the 1948 territories, and those in exile and the diaspora, alongside our Arab peoples, at its forefront. The free people of the world should respond to this revolution, launching a cry that awakens the conscience of governments, parliaments, and decision-makers to halt the horrific tragedy in the Gaza Strip." The Democratic Front also called on all those who stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip—Palestinians, Arabs, and foreigners—to declare a hunger strike in solidarity with the children, women, and hungry people of Gaza until the walls of the blockade are broken and unconditional humanitarian aid is allowed into the Gaza Strip and distributed to the population in all areas of their presence, free from the interference of the enemy army and the American company of death. The Democratic Front concluded: Appeals are no longer a sufficient weapon, and it is time for us to demonstrate our new weapons: will and action on the ground, so that the enemy will submit and stop the war of killing and starvation in the Gaza Strip.
