‘Love Island USA' Cast Members Don't Know Why Someone Gets Kicked Out of Villa, Alum Says

Yahoo6 hours ago
It turns out that the Love Island USA islanders are just as in the dark as viewers when a cast member is unexpectedly kicked off.
Deb Chubb, a finalist on season 4 of Love Island USA in 2022, fielded fan questions about hasty on-air departures via TikTok on Friday, June 6.
'When someone 'mysteriously disappears' off our screens, do they tell the islanders?' a social media user asked via TikTok comment. 'Do they tell the islanders what [really] happened?'
Deb, 29, responded in a follow-up video, claiming that she was never informed about the reasons behind unexpected show exits. (After Deb recoupled with Kyle Fraser during the Casa Amor twist, he was quickly removed over unfounded misconduct allegations that he never publicly addressed. Show hosts, instead, said that Kyle left for 'personal reasons.')
'Love Island USA' Couples Status Check: Who's Still Together, Who Broke Up After Leaving the Villa?
'The producers do not tell you why,' Deb said. 'The person just literally [and] mysteriously disappears. You know, in past seasons, if somebody wants to leave on their own accord, they sit everybody down at the firepit. They say, 'I'm leaving. This is my last night' [and] they have a big speech.'
She added, 'If they don't do that, it means that something came out in real time, and that's why that person had to leave.'
Deb further recalled that after Kyle, now 32, was removed, he 'was just not there' anymore.

'To me, that was the biggest blessing ever because I didn't want to have to deal with that,' she said. 'I obviously knew that I really wanted to be with Jesse [Bray], but I didn't find out until we were at the reunion … what had happened.'
According to Deb, she was initially told that Kyle 'had to leave for personal reasons' without further explanation.
Love Island's Most Controversial Contestants and Moments Throughout the Years
'When it happened to me, I knew it was for something bad,' Deb speculated. 'If it wasn't for something bad, then he would have sat us all down.'
During the most recent season, Yulissa Escobar was similarly removed from the villa without word or warning after racist comments she made resurfaced. Show narrator Iain Stirling simply noted that Yulissa, 27, had to leave, but didn't give a reason why. She has since apologized for her past remarks.
"First, I want to apologize for using a word I had no right using,' Yulissa wrote in a social media statement. 'Podcast clips from years ago have recently resurfaced, and I want to address it directly. In those clips, I used a word I never should've used, a racial slur. I used it ignorantly, not fully understanding the weight, history, or pain behind it. I wasn't trying to be offensive or harmful, but I recognize now that intention doesn't excuse impact. And the impact of that word is real. It's tied to generations of trauma, and it is not mine to use.'
She added, 'The truth is, I didn't know better then, but I do now. I've taken the time to reflect, to learn, and to grow from that moment. I've changed a lot since then, not just in how I speak, but in how I show up, how I carry myself, and how I honor the experiences of others. Growth means recognizing when you were wrong, even if it's uncomfortable, and choosing to move forward with humility and accountability.'
New episodes of Love Island USA will be released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.

Video Shows Golden Retriever Throwing Tantrums When Petting Stops

Dogs love it when humans shower them with pets and kisses, but they can also get extra dramatic when the petting stops midway. A Golden Retriever named Zebby went through a rollercoaster of emotions when his owner stopped petting him in an Instagram video. The canine, with his adorable actions, made it clear that no matter the case, if you start to pet, you don't stop. Fans and followers couldn't get enough of the dog's cuteness and supported his stance in the comments section. If you think dogs aren't dramatic, stop petting them and see what happens. Golden Retriever Zebby's owner gave it a good old try, attempting for the sake of the argument, but instantly regretted their actions. An Instagram video from the account @zebbythegolden captured the dog showcasing his dramatic side to his parent after they briefly held back on petting him. The video began with Zebby lying comfortably on his bed, all ready to receive his owner's pets. The dog parent gently began rubbing the canine's paws before abruptly retreating their hand. The Golden Retriever was taken aback by their owner's sudden decision, but decided to fight back the only way he knew how. He looked at the owner for a split second before whimping and breathing loudly to get his parent's attention. The owner didn't let Zebby showcase his disapproval for too long and began petting the dog back. As soon as the canine realized the pets were back, he smiled and got comfortable again. In the caption, the owner said, 'The golden retriever tantrums are real.' Meanwhile, fans and fellow dog parents were clear about their love for Zebby. They jokingly scolded the owner for stopping their pets midway. One said, 'You're not allowed to stop petting.' However, some recognized the dog's dramatic side, with one scoring his tantrums a '12/10.' A few other Golden Retriever parents shared similar petting stories. Video: Samoyed Turns Coffee Table Into Bed When Her Usual Spot Is Occupied

What does your pooch do when you hijack their usual resting or sleeping place? Bark and throw tantrums? Well, that's what most of the pups do. But it seems like this Samoyed, Nube, does not believe in wasting her energy by barking at the owner's mistake. Instead, she finds another spot, which might not be as comfy as her usual spot, but serves the purpose. Wondering which new spot the fur baby finds? Look at the video to see Samoyed's new bed. For this Samoyed, Nube, the sofa is her favorite place in the house to rest and enjoy some TV time with her pet parents. However, when her hooman friend takes over her place, the canine does the unthinkable. Instead of showing her frustration, Nube finds a new bed, which is most likely her pet parents' favorite spot. In the video uploaded by @nubethesamoyed, the pet parent captures the hilarious move of the canine. The owner shows how, after putting 'pillows' in her 'dog's spot on the sofa' in the living room, the fur baby conveniently finds a new resting spot — the coffee table. The paw parent captures Nube getting comfortable on her new bed by lying on her back before shifting sideways to feel better. The Samoyed's idea of converting the coffee table into her bed took the owner by surprise as they mentioned in the post, 'I've now found out that whenever the pillows are set up in her spot of the sofa, that's when she goes on the coffee table,' hinting she is the queen of the house. Nube's new makeshift bed even left netizens in stitches. Many netizens expressed their viewpoint on the Instagram video, with one saying, 'I've never seen anything like this before! WOW!' While another person wrote, 'She is living her best life wherever, whenever.' Another individual mentioned, 'A natural problem solver. Smart!.' Another user commented, 'Dramatic way to resolve a dramatic problem.' The post Video: Samoyed Turns Coffee Table Into Bed When Her Usual Spot Is Occupied appeared first on DogTime.

Kelly Osbourne gets engaged to Sid Wilson during her dad Ozzy's final Black Sabbath show

Kelly Osbourne is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Sid Wilson. The reality star, 40, shared a video on Instagram of the DJ popping the question backstage at her father Ozzy's final show on Saturday night In the clip, Wilson, 48, took his partner's hand and said: 'Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world.' Ozzy jokingly interjected with: 'F*** off, you're not marrying my daughter.' After the couple — who shared a two-year-old son, Sidney — laughed off Ozzy's remark, Wilson continued his proposal. 'Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you,' he added. 'So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?' he said, while he pulled a ring box out of his fanny pack and got down on one knee. Kelly's jaw dropped in shock, as she covered her mouth with her hand and looked around the room. She then nodded her head to say yes to the proposal, before Wilson put the ring on her finger and hugged her. The couple's family and friends were cheering and clapping about the news, including Kelly's parents. She celebrated the special moment in the caption of her Instagram post, writing: 'Oh and this happened yesterday!' In February 2022, Kelly publicly revealed she and Wilson were dating, after being close friends for more than two decades. 'After 23 years of friendship I can't believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson,' she wrote at the time, alongside a picture of her and her partner kissing. In May of that year, she shared that they were expecting their first baby together. 'I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you as to why…' she wrote on Instagram. 'I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic.' In January 2023, Sharon Osbourne confirmed that her grandchild was born, sharing the then-newborn's name, Sidney, during an appearance on The Talk. Later that day, however, Kelly seemingly criticized her mother for publicly sharing these details about her baby. 'I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one's place but mine to share any information on my baby,' she said. Kelly's engagement news came after Ozzy and Black Sabbath's other original members, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, took to the stage for one final time at Villa Park in their home city of Birmingham. Ozzy, who revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, performed from a black winged throne. The concert, titled Back to the Beginning, also featured performances from bands including Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Slayer, and Tool. Sharon, who first met Ozzy when her father was managing Black Sabbath, later took over as his manager when he became a solo artist. However, following Black Sabbath's farewell show, Sharon said that she was now finally ready to step back from the industry. 'I've been doing this since I was 15, and I'm done,' the 72-year-old told Billboard. 'We just want to live our life and do what we want to do and not have to follow an itinerary any more.'
