Target shoppers race into stores to get their hands on real leather suede handbags for an 'unbelievable' price
Target is turning heads this winter with a new designer-look handbag that's sending Aussie shoppers into meltdown.
The budget retailer has dropped an $80 Premium Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag that looks and feels a lot more expensive than it is - and fashion fans are calling it one of the most luxe-looking pieces to ever hit Target shelves.
TikToker Emma Vosti was among the first to shout it from the rooftops, declaring in a now-viral clip: 'You will not believe what I got at Target yesterday. You just won't,' she said.
Pulling the slouchy, chocolate-coloured bag from its own dust bag, Emma couldn't get over the details.
'It's got the lining on the bottom. It's a beautiful chocolate colour. It's got the stitching detail. Are you kidding me Target?' she said, showing off the tag inside marked genuine suede leather.
'They have other colours too,' she added in delight.
The comment section of her video lit up instantly, with hundreds of shoppers saying they were heading straight to their nearest store.
One follower confessed they left work early to try their luck, while another joked they were now planning a three-hour round trip just to get their hands on the bag.
'I didn't even know Target did leather!' one person wrote.
'Sold,' said another.
'Totally influenced by you! Mine just arrived, so nice! Very impressed for $80,' one raved.
Even Aussie influencer Steph Claire Smith gave her tick of approval, commenting: 'That's a win.'
And it's no wonder everyone's losing it. Suede is having a major moment this winter with loafers, jackets and bags all getting the retro, tactile treatment. But genuine suede usually comes at a hefty price.

Carrie even confirmed that this is just the first drop of leather stock to land in store and online, with more to come very soon.
Comparable pieces like Vestirsi's Sienna Suede Bag ($349) and Tony Bianco's Mily Suede Tote ($249) are at least triple the cost, we can see why Target's version is so popular.
The bag's slouchy silhouette comes in two wearable shades, chocolate and sand, and features a soft, relaxed silhouette with a wide, comfy strap, perfect for tossing over your shoulder on the go.
There are also two smaller siblings in the same collection which are equally as lust worthy.
One is called the Crescent Shoulder Bag, priced at $45 and available in tan, chocolate, sand and khaki. It's compact but still roomy enough for everyday essentials like your phone, wallet and keys.
The other is their medium-sized Suede Leather Bucket Tote Bag ($80) also available in three colours: tan, chocolate, khaki.
But if you want one, don't wait as stock is flying out the door.
