Uttarakhand CM Dhami wishes state on first Monday of Shravan

Uttarakhand [India], July 14 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, has sent out best wishes on the platform X for the first Monday of the sacred Shravan month on Monday.
Dhami's X post in Sanskrit read, 'O necklace of the lord of serpents, O three-eyed, O Lord of the ashes, O Lord. Never-failing, pure, divine, that never-failing, I offer my obeisances unto thee. Happy first Monday of the holy month of Shravan to all Shiva devotees. I pray to Lord Mahadev for a happy, healthy and auspicious life for all the people of the state.'
Earlier, in line with the directives of CM Dhami, the distribution of cartons has commenced to provide a distinctive identity to the apples cultivated in Uttarakhand, on Sunday.
This initiative aims to benefit apple producers in the Uttarkashi and Dehradun districts while enhancing the packaging standards of the apples, as stated in the official release.
The CM stated that Uttarakhand offers immense possibilities for organic farming and horticulture. A policy has been formulated for the proper development of horticulture in the state , and the goverment is continously promoting this sector. The state government is particularly encouraging apple cultivation in horticulture.
On Sunday, Dhami also participated in the facilitation ceremony organised by the religious and social organisations in Balliwala, Dehradun, on the efforts being made by the CM for 'corruption-free Uttarakhand'.
On this occasion, the CM also administered the oath of corruption-free Uttarakhand to everyone.
He said that this 'Abhinandan Samaroh is not just an honour but a celebration of realising the dream of making Uttarakhand corruption-free. This honour belongs to the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand, who are moving towards the development of the state with the values of honesty, transparency and accountability.'
The Chief Minister also said that the governance system has been strengthened in the state by implementing the Uniform Civil Code, making strict anti-copying laws, action against land jihad and love jihad and through anti-conversion and anti-riot laws. He said that these steps have proved that if there is strong will, any challenge can be faced successfully. (ANI)

New Delhi [India], July 21 (ANI): The National Cybersecurity Exercise - Bharat NCX 2025 was officially inaugurated on Monday with the aim to strengthen India's cyber defence posture. The Bharat NCX 2025 was inaugurated by Deputy National Security Advisor T. V. Ravichandran, in the presence of Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU). It was organised by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with RRU. According to the statement by NSCS, the event was held under the theme Enhancing the Operational Preparedness of Indian Cyberspace. The two-week national-level cyber drill brings together cybersecurity professionals, defence personnel, policymakers, and industry leaders. The initiative is designed to simulate complex real-world cyber incidents, including attacks on critical infrastructure, deepfake threats, API vulnerabilities, and autonomous malware scenarios. In his keynote address, Ravichandran emphasised that cybersecurity of our digital infrastructure underpins to national security, economic growth, and public safety. From governance and healthcare to energy, transportation, and defence, the cybersecurity of our digital infrastructure underpins national security, economy, citizen trust and public safety," he said, highlighting the value of realistic and high-impact cyber simulations like Bharat NCX. Delivering the special address, Patel also stated that Cyber and AI capabilities have emerged as a potent tool of cyber defence, and digital space has evolved into a novel arena for statecraft, competition, and conflict, involving nation states and state-sponsored actors. He outlined important objectives such as proactively preventing cyber-attacks, lowering the country's susceptibility to cyber threats, and accelerating recovery with minimal impact when incidents occur. Key features of Bharat NCX 2025 include live-fire cyber simulations, an AI-integrated cybersecurity framework, a Strategic Decision-Making Exercise (STRATEX) for senior leaders, and a CISO Conclave featuring key government and industry cybersecurity officers. Additionally, the Bharat Cybersecurity Startup Exhibition will showcase innovative Indian solutions for building a secure and self-reliant digital infrastructure. Running from July 21 to August 1, the exercise will conclude with a comprehensive debriefing to consolidate insights, refine national cyber strategies, and strengthen collective resilience. (ANI)

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged that anti-social elements are attempting to defame the Kanwar Yatra through social media and acts of public disorder, and called on the public to report such individuals to at an event in Meerut on Sunday, Adityanath said that while most devotees uphold the sanctity of the Yatra, some anti-social elements are conspiring to malign Kanwar Yatra is an annual pilgrimage in which Lord Shiva's devotees, known as kanwariyas, walk barefoot to collect holy water from the Ganga and offer it at Shiva temples. This year's Yatra began on July 11 and will conclude on July 23, coinciding with the Hindu month of Shravan. Since the yatra began, social media platforms have been flooded with videos showing individuals dressed in saffron—commonly worn by kanwariyas—engaging in vandalism, creating ruckus on roads, and assaulting civilians. Adityanath claimed that these individuals are miscreants infiltrating Kanwar groups to tarnish their image.'Unmask them, keep them away from you at all costs. Do not allow them to enter your circle. Immediately inform the administration about this,' he Chief Minister, who showered flowers on kanwariyas earlier in the day, warned that those attempting to defame the Yatra or compromise its sanctity will face strict action. He also urged people against taking matters into their own hands.'It is the responsibility of every Kanwar Sangh and every Shiv bhakt to expose such elements and immediately inform the authorities,' Adityanath said. 'The entire Yatra route is under CCTV surveillance, and once the Yatra concludes, strict action will be taken against those identified. Their posters will also be displayed publicly.'His remarks came a day after seven kanwariyas were arrested for assaulting a CRPF jawan following an argument over train tickets at Mirzapur railway station. The incident was caught on CCTV and the footage went week, the UP Chief Minister had said that Kanwariyas were being unfairly labelled as 'terrorists and rioters' and denounced what he described as a concerted effort to malign the annual of violence involving kanwariyas have been reported across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring Uttarakhand in recent days.
