Messi magic sparks Inter Miami comeback at Club World Cup
Inter Miami secured their first Club World Cup win, coming from behind to defeat Porto 2-1 in Atlanta.
Lionel Messi scored the decisive goal for Inter Miami with a curled 20-yard free-kick in the 53rd minute.
Telasco Segovia had earlier equalised for Inter Miami after Porto took an early lead from a penalty.
The victory comes after Inter Miami were held to a goalless draw by Egyptian side Al Ahly in their opening Group A fixture at Hard Rock Stadium.
In another match, Palmeiras beat Al Ahly 2-0 in a delayed game, with an own goal and a strike from Flaco Lopez securing their victory.
