Former England captain Owen Farrell seals Saracens return
The former England captain called time on his 16-year stay with the Gallagher Premiership side at the end of last season.
But fly-half Farrell has agreed to leave Racing 92 and return to Saracens after a disappointing, injury-disrupted campaign with the Top 14 outfit.
He told the club's official website: 'Saracens is my home and the opportunity to come back is one that excites me enormously.
'Having watched from afar this season, it is clear to see that the club has incredible potential, and I can't wait to get back in the mix for the 25/26 season.'
The 33-year-old ex-club captain has signed a two-year deal at the StoneX Stadium to rejoin a club with whom he won three European Cups and six Premiership crowns.
Farrell made his Saracens debut in 2008, 11 days after his 17th birthday, and amassed 256 appearances before heading for France.

He has won 112 England caps and made six Test appearances for the British and Irish Lions, although he has not been included in the squad – coached by his father Andy – for this summer's tour of Australia.
Farrell has not played Test rugby since the 2023 World Cup, initially taking a break to prioritise his mental wellbeing, before his move abroad made him ineligible for selection.
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is hoping the vastly-experienced stand-off will play a role in what he believes will be an exciting future for the club.
McCall said: 'Owen has Saracens in his DNA. His competitive spirit is woven into the fabric of this club and we are delighted he has chosen to come home.
'He returns to a young group full of potential, players eager to learn, play and push for success. We know he will love being part of where this group, and this club, are headed.'

The Scotland leg will start in Ardrossan, North Ayrshire, and finish in Edinburgh over on the east coast on Saturday. The England stretch will start in Blyth, Northumberland, and finish in Silloth, Cumbria, followed by the final route on Sunday which will connect Prestatyn on the north coast of Wales with Porthcawl at the opposite end of the country. Craig, 51, says he will never forget the end of life care his mum received from specialist nurses and voluntary carers at the Glenfield hospice, which provides free palliative care for around 2,500 terminally ill patients and their loved ones every year. 'Eight years ago my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer,' Craig said. 'She was lucky enough to spend her final weeks at LOROS Hospice. The care and devotion these guy show made a lasting impression on me and my family. I try to raise money where I can over the year, but this was a challenge I created to push the limits and try to give as much as the staff do on a daily basis. 'This will be a physically demanding challenge that we are all doing to support LOROS, a charity that means so much to each of us.' Craig and the team have been undergoing intensive training in recent months to prepare themselves for the ride, physically and mentally. They set themselves a fundraising target of £5,000, yet cruised past that mark several weeks ago thanks to an overwhelming show of support from family, friends, colleagues and local businesses. So far, the quintet has raised more than £10,000 for the Hospice, which needs more than £8 million to run each year. As Poland eye their next boss new outlet Przeglad Sportowy Onet claims that Southgate has opened the door to an international return by submitting an application. It is understood he would have to significantly lower his financial demands if he did want to take the job. His England salary was double the record amount paid to a Poland boss. Southgate was an unknown quantity at international level before taking charge of England, but quickly thrived. He led the Three Lions to a World Cup semi-final and successive finals at the Euros. If he was hired the immediate remit for a Poland boss would be to ensure World Cup qualification. The European nations currently sit third in a group of five with only the winner qualifying and the second place going into a play-off. Poland sit below Finland and the Netherlands as things stand. The Poles have been present at the last two World Cups and will hope to continue that trend next summer in North America. Southgate, since leaving his England job, has been a technical observer at UEFA over the past season, which saw him working closely with UEFA performance analysis in order to provide reports on every national team and club competition in Europe. The 54-year-old has been linked with club jobs in the past, the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham. He's confessed that he would like to re-write the narrative around his club career, where he got Middlesbrough relegated before going into the international scene. Southgate previously said on his next opportunity: "This higher purpose kept me on track, gave me structure, made my life more fulfilling and is going to be extremely difficult to replicate. It's why I'm not limiting my future options to remaining as a football coach."
