Basketball's popular show 'Inside the NBA' comes to an end on
TNT
and it has been a fan favourite for at least 40 years. On Saturday night, it was an emotional moment for all NBA stars where they sat down and discussed how emotional a moment it was for each one of them.
An emotional goodbye for all
For sports commentator Ernie Johnson, it was beautiful and emotional together. Right before he turned his back at the camera, and when he placed his mic on the desk, and got up from the chair, he said, 'I'm proud to say for the last time, 'Thanks for watching us. It's the NBA on TNT.'
With the new season, NBA will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN now, instead of TNT, thanks to a new 11-year-old deal now. Fans can also find NBA games on Amazon Prime Video.
For NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, it was indeed a beautiful moment. For him, even with the change of a name, not a lot will change. He said, 'Even though the name changes, the engine is still the same, And to that new network we're coming to, we're not coming to (expletive) around. ... We're taking over, OK? I love you guys and I appreciate you guys.'
For basketball coach Rick Carlisle, it was a sad moment. He said, 'Congratulations to TNT on a fabulous, unbelievable run that's coming to an end, We're all very sad about that.'
Meanwhile, sports commentator Kevin Harlan reacted with much more gratitude in his heart. He said, 'Our hearts are full of gratitude, not sadness, but gratitude and happiness for what has been. It has been an honor. It has been a privilege. And I hope you all have enjoyed it as much as we have.'
For NBA legend and former basketball shooting guard Reggie Miller, it was a fortunate incident. He said, 'Think about my life. I'm very fortunate, I've only known two things: 18 years with one franchise in this building with the Indiana Pacers, and 19 years with Turner.'

The team had plans to take the next level in the playoffs after onboarding Jimmy Butler, but after Stephen Curry's injury, things seemed to lose momentum for the team. The team has put focus on Jonathan Kuminga, and have put their hopes high up. With more play time, Kuminga can be explored after he leaves his free agency. Spotlight on Jonathan Kuminga The team fell short last year and it was difficult for them to revive. A difficult move for the team was to come to terms with Stephan Curry's sudden injuries. The team also managed to see Jimmy Butler being traded to their team, but couldn't secure a spot in Western Conference Finals. For now, the team has put their focus on Jonathan Kuminga. Now that he is entering free agency, his eyes are on bigger roles now. He is also eyeing out the fact that top players like Stephan Curry, Draymond Green are set to earn more than $140 million, it will be difficult for Golden State Warriors. For an NBA Insider, how the Golden State Warriors could turn out, depends a lot on how Kuminga would want to. Bobby Marks, from ESPN NBA, was speaking on Willard and Dibs, where he said, "It all comes down to Jonathan Kuminga. He basically controls free agency in Golden State. If they sign him to a contract and bring him back, then that's really it as far as what they can do in the offseason."
