Winner of the Richard Madeley lookalikey 2026 revealed- can you tell?

Will the real Richard Madeley please stand up?
We've seen a hundred Timothee Chalamets in New York, we've had TV bad boy Danny Dyer in Soho Square, now it is the turn of Middle England hearthrob Richard Madeley to have his lookalike competition in the outskirts of Stockport.
Hundreds queued around the block to watch the attempted reincarnations of the Good Morning Britain iconoclast compete at the highest level and maybe confuse poor Judy at Alexandra Park in Edgeley on Sunday.
It started as a joke when a single poster offering themed prizes for the top three Good Morning Britain impersonators was stuck up in the suburbs of Stockport.
But it became reality when locals expressed so much interest the organiser, Mrs Jones' realised she would have to go through with it.
One entrant said: 'It was a laugh. The first prize was a giant inflatable champagne bottle, second prize was a selection of Richard & Judy books. But I don't think anyone was in it for the winnings.'
After hours of deliberation, the winner was finally declared – congratulations Larry, a pug in an unmistakably wavy Richard wig.
Another entrant said on Reddit: 'I didn't even place. ITV Granada interviewed me though and I simply said the pug had more game than me.'
They added: 'To all the people saying this should be an annual event, it's happening next summer as well. I believe the names thrown about were Deirdre Barlow or Luke Littler.'
The real Richard Madeley reportedly faced the axe from Good Morning as ITV issued sweeping changes to its daytime programming.
The 69-year-old host has been a staple of the morning news show since 2017 alongside co-host Susanna Reid and was said to be receiving a lucrative £300k salary for the gig before this 'bloodbath'.
On ITV Richard shared a candid insight into his 35-year marriage with fellow TV icon Judy.
Recounting moments of strain in his relationship, he said: 'Well, I mean, sometimes, you'd have a row. And you'd get to work not talking. But the show was a cure.'
'I mean, it wasn't, like, false, you actually did genuinely have to come on and do the double act. You would find that within maybe 15, 20 minutes of going on air.'
'You'd just forgotten all about it because you were both focusing on the job. And so it was a very good way of processing a row.'

Cat Deeley signifies 'new beginning' after split from Patrick Kielty

This Morning presenter Cat Deeley looked in high spirits as she stepped out without her wedding ring today, ditching the band after announcing her split from Patrick Kielty. Cat, 48, and Northern Irish TV star Patrick, 54, married in Rome in 2012, having met in 2002 when co-hosting BBC talent show Fame Academy. The former couple share two sons – Milo, born in 2016, and James, born in 2018 – and appeared to be one of television's happiest couples. Alas, their 13-year marriage came to an end this year, as they announced in a statement on July 29 that they had 'taken the decision to end [their] marriage and are now separated.' Neither party has offered additional comment or explicit details of what led to their marriage's demise, requesting 'family privacy' as they move forward 'united as loving parents'. Despite her recent major life change, though, Cat is still wearing a smile, if not the ring she was given upon exchanging vows over a decade ago—or rather, wearing the ring where you'd expect it. New photos show the ITV star beaming as she got her car washed and stopped to pick up flowers in London. Intriguingly, Cat didn't have her ring on her wedded finger, having swapped it over to the other hand, which is said to be a symbol of 'new beginnings'. Seemingly keen to signify a new chapter in her personal life post-separation, the sparkler took pride of place on her right hand as she changes her relationship status. Granted, some people wear their ring on their right hand while still married, as the hand is associated with strength, thereby representing unwavering commitment in the relationship. However, once separated, wearing the ring on the opposing hand can mean independence. Elsewhere on her outing, Cat flashed her pearly whites at a man who assisted her with her car before making a stylish exit from the carwash. Her blonde locks styled in loose waves, the daytime favourite cut a chic figure in a loose-fitting white blouse, flowy denim trousers, and tan accessories, complete with an oversized handbag. This marks the first time Cat has been photographed since returning from her trip to Spain. She was pictured dining at a restaurant called Chiringuito in Sitges, which is somewhat of a celebrity hotspot. While fellow diners told the Daily Mail that she looked 'downcast' at the time, the sunny Spanish getaway has clearly done wonders for her mood. Cat later professed her love for her hairdresser pal, Ben Skervin, who accompanied her on the trip and shared photos on Instagram, under which she commented: 'I love you'. 'She clearly needed to be around her nearest and dearest during such a difficult time,' an insider added. As for comedian Patrick, he is now back at work, having returned to his BBC Radio 5 Live show on Sunday, marking his first since their split was made public. He, too, seemed upbeat on the airwaves, laughing: 'It's lovely to be back. We are coming to you from sunny Belfast, and we've got Michael Andrew looking after things here. We've got Sammy and Craig looking after things in London. 'It takes a village, folks, to make this show sound so average, but it is not just me who is back. Oh no, what is this? It is a little welcome back letter from the head of the BBC.' Listeners then heard a letter by Tim Davie after Patrick teased that he felt overlooked for the role of replacing Gary Lineker as Match of the Day host. Patrick read out: 'Dear Mr Kielty, thank you so much for your application to be a host on Match of the Day. 'Unfortunately every other host employed by the BBC is currently working hosting on this show; therefore, we don't need your services. Don't call us, we will call you, Tim Davie.' 'Thanks for that, Tim; I shouldn't have read that out on air!', Patrick mocked. It's believed the broadcaster's family knew his marriage was 'over' months ago, when Cat failed to show at the funeral of Patrick's mother in March. 'Whatever rockiness was going on in the marriage, something as momentous as his mother's funeral, you would make up even temporarily and just put your 'best face' on as we say in Northern Ireland,' a close source said at the time. 'Cat obviously knew how close Patrick was to Mary, and she should have come to be by his side, a hand on his shoulder as he buried his mother. 'The fact that she stayed in London and presented This Morning on the day, it's not been forgotten.' While the funeral was taking place, Cat insisted that she had stayed in the capital to be with her seven and five-year-old boys. A spokesperson for her told the Mail: 'Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day.' She and Patrick, who is the host of The Late Late Show, were friends long before getting together romantically, making their first official appearance as a couple in 2011. Patrick previously spoke about the moment things switched from being platonic, telling the Loose Women: 'There was a moment; we always used to keep in contact, it was her birthday, and she was in Beverly Hills, and I was in Dundrum (County Down). More Trending 'And obviously LA are eight hours behind; it was around tea time with her. I texted her happy birthday from a little Irish pub. It was around two o'clock in the morning, approaching closing time. 'And she said, 'It is just a shame you are not in LA because I'm having a lunch tomorrow' – so I said, 'I will be there.' 'So I got up at five, jumped on a six o'clock flight from Ireland, got into Heathrow at seven, and jumped on a 20 to 10 flight, got in at quarter past one, walked into the Beverly Hills Hotel. 'I said, 'Hi,' she fell off the chair, and we have been together ever since.' Got a story? Princess Andre's ITV docuseries changed my mind about her

'My ultimate goal in life is to become a successful businesswoman.' These are probably not words you expected to hear from 18-year-old Princess Andre. The daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, there's no denying she's well acquainted with press attention and preconceived notions about her character. However, by forging a career for herself in show business and committing to a warts-and-all reality TV series, she's forced all of those stereotypes out the window. As such, the spoiled, uninspired, idle nepo baby label the public might not have hesitated to brand her with just a few weeks ago is no more. The Princess Diaries landed on ITV last weekend, undoubtedly to a curious audience all asking the same question: What could she possibly have to say? The answer? More than you'd expect. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Comprising four parts and starring brother Junior, 20, pop star dad Peter, 52, and his wife, Emily, 35, The Princess Diaries follows the budding influencer through milestones of her teen years, from passing her driving test to walking in her first fashion show, all before officially celebrating becoming an adult. Cameras accompany Princess, who has amassed over 800,000 followers on Instagram alone, to brand meetings, photoshoots, industry events, and work trips abroad, leaving no stone unturned for those inquisitive and most likely with snobbish misconceptions about being a social media personality. Is it vapid at times? Of course. One of the very first scenes shows her squealing and panicking over her manager's dog dribbling sausage grease on her Louis Vuitton sliders, and some of the conversations with her friends feel uncomfortably forced. But do I believe the series is worthy of the 'tragic' and 'awkward' descriptors assigned to it in some reviews? No. I went into viewing the series hoping to be pleasantly surprised, and I certainly was. I was taken aback by Princess's honesty and vulnerability, not to mention her drive and passion to make a name for herself in a saturated industry that her own mum and dad have already monopolised. I didn't anticipate her speaking so openly about her childhood trauma, such as the horrifying carjacking ordeal in South Africa, which saw her, Katie, and Junior held at gunpoint by six men, with authorities saying it was a 'miracle' they survived. I didn't anticipate her candid admissions about body insecurities, having expressed her 'anxiety' about being 'exposed' in a bikini for her first runway modelling gig. I didn't anticipate her being so frank about moving on from her first heartbreak and navigating the dating scene again after ending things with her boyfriend of two years. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video I didn't anticipate talk about periods — and that all-too-familiar fear of leaking through your nicest outfit on an important day — or discussions about her regrets of not having a 'happier' upbringing. Ultimately, I expected a more manufactured, meticulously curated portrayal of Princess's life, which certainly would've been the easier route to take, given how she's learnt from two experts how to only show the media a version of yourself you want them to see. Instead, I was greeted by some rather thought-provoking viewing, particularly in the scenes where Princess reflects on her mum's personal woes and very public relationship crises. Reminiscing on Katie's split from Kieran Hayler in 2018, she said she became privy to 'things that kids should never have to see' as the former glamour model descended into turmoil, her parenting falling short as a result. Though Princess admitted she has never 'fully recovered' from the ordeal, she did reveal that her mum has 'genuinely fixed herself' and apologised to her kids about the way she behaved. It was definitely the most stand-out scene of the series, as Princess displayed true bravery by lifting the curtain on her now seemingly perfect life at home with a celebrity dad in his mansion. What's more, she gave us a moment most children of divorce can relate to, whether on the astronomical scale of Katie and Peter or not, stating how 'awkward' it would be for her parents to now be in the same room, given their disdain for one another after countless episodes of mud-slinging in the press over the years. More Trending Princess has proven that her head is firmly screwed on, and she has her sights set on her own career goals regardless of the latest drama involving her parents, who divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage. This teen has far more to her than her chaotic upbringing, and she's already doing a fine job of striking that perfect nepo baby balance of acknowledging her advantages and who gave her the leg-up, but also having independent ambitions and being willing to graft to achieve them. In conclusion, Princess Andre is far more multidimensional than cynics might assume.
