Taylor Swift's Life and Legacy Will Be Explored in New Docuseries "Taylor"

Yara Sameh
The U.K.'s Channel 4 will shed light on two decades of success in a new, two-part documentary series, tentatively titled "Taylor".
Directed by Guy King, the docuseries will explore Taylor Swift's evolution during her explosive rise to the top of pop stardom, utilizing additions from a 'rare archive' and commentary from experts and fans.
'Taylor Swift is an unprecedentedly powerful 21st-century voice for women and young people,' King shared in a statement. 'Under the microscope of social media since the earliest days of MySpace and Tumblr, she came of age during a new feminist wave. With her fame came controversy, which she so skillfully wrestled to the floor. We're excited to tell her story.'
"Taylor" will be produced by Sandpaper Films, which previously helmed the feature documentaries "Doom Scroll: Andrew Tate and the Dark Side of the Internet," "A Deadly American Marriage," "Investigating Diana," and more.
Jessica Brady will lead production with Lina Caicedo as archive producer.
Sandpaper Films' Susannah Price and Henry Singer will serve as executive producers. Martin Thompson will edit the two-part release.
Rumors about the documentary series first surfaced in April 2025, weeks before Swift gained ownership of her music catalog after successfully purchasing the master recordings of her first six studio albums from Shamrock Holdings.
The musician's rapidly evolving narrative makes it difficult to capture the full expanse of her career.
Five years have passed since Swift released her documentary, "Miss Americana," and everything has changed in that time.
Since 2020, Swift has released four original studio albums and four re-recordings of previously released albums.
She also embarked on "The Eras Tour," which ultimately became the highest-grossing tour in history.

Fayrouz Lays Ziad El Rahbani to Rest in Home's Garden

Rana Atef In a solemn and quiet farewell, Beirut bid goodbye this morning to renowned Lebanese musician and playwright Ziad Rahbani, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 69, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy and decades of bold, socially charged theater and music. Legendary singer Fairuz led her only son's funeral, with several Lebanese media outlets reporting that she said her final goodbye to Ziad away from the press and cameras. After the casket was placed in Our Lady of Dormition Church in Bikfaya, she joined him in a private farewell before the body was taken to the garden of her home in the town of Choueir, where she had prepared a personal burial site — not next to his father, the late artist Assi Rahbani, who is buried in Antelias. The funeral procession began earlier this morning from Khoury Hospital in Beirut's Hamra district, where thousands of fans and admirers had gathered from the early hours, holding his photos, throwing flowers, and applauding in a powerful farewell. Women ululated from both sides of the street, and the mood was deeply emotional. The body was then moved to Our Lady of Dormition Church in Bikfaya, where a mass was held, and the family will be receiving condolences today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, amidst widespread grief in Lebanon's artistic and cultural circles. Born on January 1, 1956, Ziad Rahbani came from one of the most iconic artistic families in the Arab world. As the son of Fairuz and the legendary Assi Rahbani (of the Rahbani Brothers), Ziad grew up in a rich creative environment that propelled him into the spotlight. Yet, he quickly established his own identity — one defined by avant-garde music, biting political satire, and an unmatched stage presence. His works combined elements of Eastern music with Western genres such as jazz and rock, while his bold plays dissected Lebanese and Arab social realities with wit and philosophical depth. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence"

What Fans Guess about TS12

Rana Atef During the past few hours, a lot of talk can be heard about TS12. Many media reports indicated that Swift shot a new music video for her new era. Swifties, gather round. If your notifications have been blowing up with words like 'TS12,' 'leak,' and 'deleted video,' you're not alone. The fandom may have just been gifted the biggest hint yet that Taylor Swift's 12th studio album is on the way — and, in true Taylor fashion, it didn't come in the form of a direct announcement. It came from a casually dropped comment in a Swedish interview, a fast-deleted post, and a pile of cryptic details Swifties have been decoding for months. The Leak Heard Around the Swiftie World: A Swedish Producer Says They're 'Finishing Taylor Swift's Album' In an April 2025 interview with Universal Music Sweden, producer Jacob Criborn — one half of the DJ duo Nause — sat down to discuss his new remix 'Canelloni Macaroni' and casually mentioned working with composer Erik Arvinder (known for his arrangements with Coldplay, Avicii, and Zara Larsson). What fans noticed wasn't the remix. It was this sentence: 'Vi ska bara göra klart Taylor Swift's platta.' (Translation: 'We're just finishing Taylor Swift's album.') If Jacob is right, and Arvinder is helping complete a full Taylor Swift album, that means Taylor is not just re-recording — she's crafting a brand new body of work. This would officially be TS12, the long-awaited follow-up to Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department. Universal Music Sweden deleted the interview. Which, as any seasoned Swiftie knows, is basically a neon sign that says: Something big is coming. Let's be honest. We didn't need a leak to know something was up. Swifties have been piecing together cryptic signs for months now, and many of them point to — you guessed it — album number 12. Here are some of the most convincing Easter eggs: 1. 12 D's in 'GODDDDDDDDDDDD' Back in March, Taylor posted an Instagram Story praising Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's album I Said I Loved You First, writing: 'I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.' There were exactly 12 D's. Not 10. Not 13. Twelve. That's not a typo — that's Taylor math. 2. Twelve Red Stones at the Grammys During the 2025 Grammy Awards, Taylor wore a stunning pair of earrings — each adorned with 12 ruby-red gems. Could it have been a nod to her 12th album? Fans certainly think so. 3. The Letter 'Thiiiiiiiiiiiis' Had... 12 I's In her 2023 letter reclaiming her masters, Taylor wrote the word 'this' with 12 I's: 'Thiiiiiiiiiiiis is what happens when you do it yourself.' Yes. Fans counted. Yes. It was intentional. 4. New Visual Branding Hints? The letter also featured a new art-deco style 'TS' logo — totally different from Midnights or TTPD. Many believe it could be early TS12 branding hiding in plain sight. So… If TS12 Is Real, What Will It Sound Like? Right now, there's no confirmed title, artwork, or lead single — but based on the producers involved and the string/horn arrangements Erik Arvinder is known for, fans are expecting: A cinematic, orchestral pop sound, blending Taylor's storytelling roots with live instrumentation. Possible emotional continuity from TTPD — but with a more luminous or nostalgic tone. A return to her 'Lover'/'Folklore' lyricism, but with grander sonic ambition. There's also speculation that TS12 might be her most personal album yet — think All Too Well meets Long Live energy, but fully grown up and unapologetically bold. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence"

Beyoncé Reunites With Destiny's Child during Final Cowboy Carter Show in Las Vegas

Yara Sameh Destiny's Child returned for one exceptional night. During the final stop of her Cowboy Carter Tour at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium, Beyoncé surprised fans by reuniting onstage with former group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, marking their first performance together in seven years. 'Destiny's Child, b—t!' Bey shouted to a roaring crowd after briefly disappearing from the stage, then returning with Rowland and Williams as their hit 'Independent Women' began to play. The surprise reunion arrived during the Renaissance segment of the show, as the trio kicked off a medley of iconic hits with their 2004 hit 'Lose My Breath,' a song they hadn't performed together since Beyoncé's Coachella headlining sets in 2018. They followed with Bey's 2022 Renaissance track 'Energy' before closing with Destiny Child's 2001 anthem 'Bootylicious,' marking the first time the three-piece had performed the hit live since their appearance at Beyoncé's Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2013. After the show, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share a photo of herself smiling onstage with Rowland and Williams by her side. Rowland and Williams also posted snapshots from the iconic moment on their respective IG accounts. Since their debut in 1997, Destiny's Child has cemented its status as one of the most successful and influential girl groups in music history. Although the trio officially disbanded in 2006, they reunited for high-profile performances at the 2013 Super Bowl and Beyoncé's Coachella headlining set in 2018. The iconic trio also reunited offstage in 2023, when former members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett shared backstage snapshots from Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour. In addition to Destiny's Child, Beyoncé's final Cowboy Carter Tour show featured surprise appearances from Shaboozey — who joined her for a medley of 'Sweet Honey Buckiin',' 'Pure/Honey,' and 'Summer Renaissance' — and her husband, Jay-Z, who performed 'N—s in Paris' solo and teamed up with Beyoncé for 'Crazy in Love.' 'Don't ever ask permission for something that already belongs to you,' Beyoncé told the audience near the end of the show. 'God bless you, drive home safe, thank you for tonight! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality. I'm so deeply grateful.' Attendees in the VIP section at the Las Vegas finale included Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Tyler Perry, and Oprah Winfrey, TMZ reports. Bey's tour concluded after high-profile stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language
