EXCLUSIVE Secrets of ageless Brad Pitt's 'facelift' shared by top plastic surgeons

Daily Mail7 days ago
Brad Pitt is back in the spotlight, and so are his remarkably youthful looks.
Fans have gone wild over his new movie F1, where he plays a nomadic racer for hire, but it's the 61-year-old's age-defying appearance that have stolen the show.
'Brad Pitt got a facelift,' one viewer wrote on social media, while a second said, 'the surgeon who did [his] facelift should be the richest person on Earth'.
Now, DailyMail.com has spoken to three plastic surgeons to uncover the rejuvenating procedures the star may have received.
Despite the suggestions, each said he likely did not receive a facelift, saying they couldn't see the typical giveaway signs of taut skin, squinting eyes and scars around the ear.
Instead, they suggested it was much more likely that he had received fat transfers or fillers into the mid-face to boost volume and make him appear younger.
Dr Michael Bassiri-Tehrani, a facial plastic surgeon in New York City, said: 'This is a subtle touch-up procedure that tends to be more desirable, especially if you are in the public eye.
'This is because it means... a less drastic change in your appearance, which is important, especially for someone who is in movies and whose face is their identity and their brand.'
Brad first debuted his incredibly youthful new looks in September last year, which again sparked speculation from fans about a potential facelift.
Sources close to the star denied rumors that he had had a facelift, or received any other procedures to DailyMail.com.
The plastic surgeons did not treat or get the chance to examine Brad in person, and instead based their comments on photos and videos of the star online.
Dr Barry Weintraub, a top facelift surgeon in New York City who examined the above two pictures of the star, told this website: 'Looking straight at these images, it is clear that he is handsome as hell.
'But I do also notice that in the later photo his face is fuller, and that would either be from fat transfers or a variety of fillers that were used.
'It could also be simply because he gained weight, because that can also lead to more fullness appearing in the face.'
He added: 'As you get older, you start to lose volume in your own face... so placing volume back into it is a great way to add youth, and I think that is what was done here.'
Surgeons said he'd likely received the filler or fat transfers into the cheeks and jawline to add volume to these areas.
They said that overall it was more likely this was fat, typically taken from the abdomen or thighs, because this is longer lasting and can trigger a more natural result.
Many celebrities also opt for blepharoplasties, a procedure to remove skin above the eyes to make someone appear more youthful.
But all three surgeons said Brad had avoided this, which was a good move because it didn't lead to a drastic change in his appearance.
Dr Gary Linkov, a plastic surgeon also in New York City, said: 'I still don't see great proof that he's had a facelift. His hairline area looks ok to me, and I don't see any clear evidence for me.
'But it is possible that he might have had a fat transfer or filler to the midface.
'I mentioned a few years ago that he may have had that procedure, so it's definitely possible that he did something like that again.'
Dr Adam Scheiner, a cosmetic surgeon in Florida and author of 2017 book 'The True Definition of Beauty', said Brad may appear so youthful because of how someone views a person's face.
'When we look at a person's face, our brains focus on the eye and mouth region first and the skin and facial contours area second.
'So it tends to be much more dramatic when someone has the eyes or mouth worked on, whereas if it's on other areas it tends to be much more subtle — like the work we see here.'
Brad has not commented on any recent work he may have, but he has repeatedly spoken about aging — saying after he turned 60 years old that he was starting to feel his own mortality.
Surgeons have previously suggested that Brad has been receiving fillers and Botox during the years to maintain his youthful appearance.
Although this has never been confirmed by the celebrity.
Surgeons suggested too that Brad may be maintaining his skin using moisturizers, micro-needling and other procedures.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff reveals Lewis Hamilton still asks him for DATING advice - as he sheds light on his relationship with the seven-time world champion after his Ferrari exit

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has revealed that Lewis Hamilton still asks him for dating advice despite joining rivals Ferrari last year. The seven-time world champion parted ways with Mercedes after twelve seasons but has endured a disappointing debut campaign with Ferrari. The 40-year-old is currently sitting in sixth place in the Drivers Championship table, behind team-mate Charles Leclerc and 131 points behind runaway leader Oscar Piastri. Wolff has been Mercedes' team principal since 2013 and despite Hamilton's departure, the duo remain close, with the German claiming they still 'trust each other'. He told The Wall Street Journal: 'I tried to be very open and say, "Listen, on the racetrack, we want to beat you. No doubt about that." But it's been 12 years that we have been in this relationship. We trust each other.' Wolff even revealed that Hamilton asks him for advice about who he should date. 'I'm living a different life through his eyes, you know, he shows me his flirts and who he dates, and [asks], "Should I go for this girl or not?"' he said. 'And I'm saying, "Yes, you should, and tell me how it was!"' Hamilton remains so friendly with his former boss that he still visit his former side. He 'pops up in the office on the weekend! He speaks with the engineers, gets some food,' Wolff said. Hamilton has largely kept quiet about his love life, although he famously dated Nicole Scherzinger until 2014. The F1 star had met Scherzinger at the MTV EMAs in 2007 and they were together for 20 months but split for the first time in January 2010, before later reconciling. They then split again in late 2011, before giving their relationship another go in early 2012. They called time on things once again in July 2013, which prompted Scherzinger to break down in tears during her time on the X Factor judging panel. By February 2014 things were back on, before their final separation the following year. Hamilton famously had an on-off relationship with American pop star Nicole Scherzinger The reason for the final split had been put down to the pressures of a long-distance relationship, with Hamilton frequently travelling as part of the sprawling F1 circuit. 'I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together,' Scherzinger said in 2015. 'We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another.' Hamilton admitted he had learned from the high-profile nature of the relationship, and claimed in 2022 that he was 'happy on my own.' 'I learned the hard way, I learned the hard way,' Hamilton said. 'I haven't talked about it much. I'm really just super focused on work.' Prior to his relationship with Scherzinger, Hamilton was confirmed to have dated model Danielle Lloyd for six months in 2002, and Jodia Ma over a four-year period between 2003 and 2007. He has been linked with a number of high-profile names after splitting from Scherzinger, including Sofia Vergara after the pair were spotted dining together in New York. He played down reports of romances with supermodel Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, after being pictured with both multiple times in 2015. The F1 star had distanced himself from reports that he had dated singer Rihanna back in 2015 Hamilton insisted he was good friends with both, an assertion he also made when he was rumoured to have been dating Rihanna.

Netflix's Amy Bradley documentary is missing one major detail as brother breaks silence on show

Netflix documentary Amy Bradley is Missing follows the mysterious disappearance of the 23-year-old who vanished while on a cruise ship with her family but the show 'left out quite a lot of information' according to Amy's brother. Netflix's latest documentary Amy Bradley is Missing has been a huge hit with viewers since it's release on July 16 with the three part docuseries sitting in second place in the top UK TV show charts on the streaming platform. The show follows the story of 23-year-old Amy Bradley who disappeared while onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship with her parents and brother in 1998. ‌ Her disappearance remains a complete mystery as a body has never been found in the 27 years she has been missing. Her brother, Brad has since broken his silence on the documentary that dropped on the streaming platform earlier this month. ‌ Brad, who was 21 when Amy disappeared, was the final person to see Amy in the flesh and have a conversation with her. In the hours before she vanished, the siblings had sat outside on their family cabin's balcony after a night of partying at the ship's nightclub. Amy had chosen to stay up on the balcony after Brad went to bed and she was never seen by her family again. ‌ Sharing his thoughts on the Netflix show, Brad said that his family 'supported' the documentary and praised the producers for doing an 'awesome' job. Amy's heartbroken parents, Ron and Iva Bradley, both starred in the documentary alongside Brad. A handful of Amy's childhood friends also appeared on the programme, sharing their memories of Amy and recounting the aftermath of her disappearance. ‌ Despite Brad's praise for the three part show, he did issue one complaint, stating that the documentary 'was not a complete account and left out quite a bit of information'. In a post on X, he wrote: 'Yes, we support it, but it was not a complete account and left out quite a bit of information. 'It would have required 10 seasons to tell it all, but we thought the producers did an awesome job overall and are happy with the response so far." ‌ In a follow-up post, he wrote 'For 27 years, my family has searched for Amy. We will not stop. 'The Netflix docuseries Amy Bradley is Missing is shining a light on her story and we need your help to follow leads and find answers.' ‌ He shared a Gofundme to 'raise funds to pursue credible leads, consult with experts, obtain legal support if needed, and travel wherever necessary to uncover the truth' behind Amy's whereabouts. Viewers discussing the show on Reddit believe they have worked out the major left out detail which Brad is referring to. A subreddit titled r/TrueCrimeDiscussion which discussed the documentary was filled with positive remarks. However, one popular comment on it read: 'I disagree about the doc being fantastic. A good documentary would look at all scenarios. These guys obviously had a favourite narrative to sell.' ‌ This led to another user chiming in: 'Yep and tons left out (like the PI scamming them- which points to the family looking desperate for any answer).' Someone else agreed: 'Yes! I couldn't believe they left such a big piece out!' ‌ These comments are referring to Frank Jones, a man who claimed to be a former U.S Navy Seal in an email to the Bradley family in 1999. He also lied that he had a team of ex-Navy Seals and ex-Army Rangers at his disposal who could help him locate Amy. It came after rumours that Amy had been trafficked to Curaçao by Columbian mercenaries. ‌ The family understandably jumped at the opportunity for someone to take a team to the Caribbean and search for her while the FBI were making little progress with her disappearance. Jones unfortunately turned out to be a fraud, collecting regular payments from the Bradley family and insisting that he needed more funds to surveil the island and keep tabs on her. He told the Bradley's he had men who had seen her regularly, even going as far to send a fake photograph to them, claiming he was set to carry out an 'operation' to save Amy and that they should await his call. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! One of Jones' guys who he had been paying to watch a random house in Curaçao overheard the phone call and informed the Bradley family, who had been waiting for a phone call to tell them that their daughter was alive and was coming home safe. Jones took over $24,444 of the Bradley's personal savings and $186,416 from a fund set up by a nonprofit called the Nation's Missing Children Organization. He was found guilty of mail fraud in 2002 and was sentenced to prison for five years with an order to repay the money. Amy's father Ron previously opened up about the scam, saying: 'If there's a chance — I mean, what else do you do? If it was your child, what would you do? So I guess we took a chance. And I guess we lost.'
