Maqta Technologies Group, Indra Group to develop solutions for smart ports
ABU DHABI -- AD Ports Group today announced a strategic partnership agreement signed between its digital arm, Maqta Technologies Group, and the Indra Group to explore opportunities for jointly offering digitalisation services and solutions for ports, logistics, and trade across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The agreement outlines that Maqta Technologies Group and Indra Group will collaborate and leverage their technical expertise to develop solutions for smart ports and trade digitalisation. This includes Port Community Systems (PCS), port, maritime, and logistics Single Windows, as well as solutions to enhance the logistics chain's efficiency and sustainability.
Additionally, they will focus on port, multi-modal terminal, and border management systems, as well as other smart mobility solutions, which will enhance the market offerings of both companies.
Dr. Noura Al Dhaheri, CEO of Maqta Technologies Group and Digital Cluster - AD Ports Group, said, 'By forging strong collaborations, where shared vision of innovation and sustainability unlock opportunities of mutual success and growth, we fast-track our international ambitions. The company reported a strong performance across all business units and regions. For the full year, Lenovo revealed a 21% year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching US$69.1 billion. This marks the Group's second-highest annual revenue in its history. Net income rose 36% year-on-year to US$1.4 billion on a non-HKFRS basis. The company's non-PC revenue mix increased nearly five points year-on-year to 47%. Lenovo noted that all business groups achieved their strategic and financial goals. Moreover, all sales geographies recorded double-digit revenue growth. According to Lenovo, this growth reflects the strength of its diversified businesses and global footprint. The Group attributed the strong results to its clear strategy and end-to-end integrated global operations. These include: Design, demand forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and services ODM+ manufacturing model and global/local delivery approach Lenovo reported that its global manufacturing footprint now includes more than 30 sites across 11 markets. This setup enables maximum flexibility and resilience in navigating market challenges. The Group continues to prioritize innovation. R&D expenses increased by 13% year-on-year to US$2.3 billion. Several major developments were announced under Lenovo's hybrid AI strategy.
