Logies 2025 live updates: Australian TV celebrities take to the red carpet in Sydney

The 2025 Logies are underway at the Star Casino in Sydney where Australian TV celebrities are starting to take to the red carpet.
The prestigious awards haven't got off to the best start due to wild weather in Sydney and the closure of the Harbour Bridge, due to the Palestine protest, making it more difficult than usual to arrive at the Star Casino in Pyrmont.

Larry Emdur's last-minute move on the red carpet: The Morning Show host makes an unexpected ‘trade'

Last night the brightest stars of Australian TV graced the red carpet for the 65th annual TV Week Logie Awards. 7News had a front and centre seat to witness all the glitz and glamour that takes place, including some last-minute 'tricks' to get the Channel 7 entourage red carpet ready. Thanks to Amazon Australia's 'box of tricks', a few famous faces were able to pick out some essentials for the night, including Morning Show host Larry Emdur, who surprised everyone by making a last minute move on the carpet. Delving into the goodies, he traded in an item of his own in favour of something a little more minty fresh from the Amazon box. 'Want in on my box of tricks?' red carpet host Sally Bowrey says. 'Because I always want to be considerate for my Seven friends.' 'Okay I'm going to swap you,' says Larry, before revealing his 'trade': a mini bottle of whisky from his back pocket. Placing it inside the box, he then picked up a packet of Eclipse sugar-free mints — a must-have for any red carpet event. 'Actually no,' he remarks before taking back the bottle, and picking up another pack of mints, this time a multipack of Oral Care Strips from Listerine. Doubling up on minty-fresh saviours — a smart move from Larry. But he wasn't the only one to take advantage of Amazon's box of tricks on the Logies red carpet. Weekend Sunrise hosts Monique Wood and David Woiwod were also keen to get in on the action. 'This is my bag of tricks to help you out on the red carpet,' says Sally. 'You need those,' David says to his co-host, holding out a packet of Listerine Oral Care Strips. 'Obviously, you need these,' Monique replies, holding out a tin of sugar-free Eclipse mints. Woiwod agrees, popping a few mints from the Eclipse tin into his mouth before continuing down the red carpet. Shop Eclipse Peppermint Sugar Free Mints 40g Tin, $36.95 at Amazon Australia. Shop Listerine Pocketpaks Oral Care Strips Cool Mint Value Pack 72, $5.69 at Amazon Australia.
