Kajol says she's happy when Ajay Devgn goes on 40-day outdoor shoots; admits she had complaints with him: ‘In the past…'

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been married for 26 years. Over the course of their long-lasting relationship, the couple have managed to balance their personal lives while maintaining high-profile film careers. However, these careers often required them to be away from family for extended periods due to outdoor film shoots. In a recent interaction, Kajol opened up about how their work commitments have impacted their personal life.
Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Kajol was asked about the pros and cons of Ajay Devgn being busy with his projects. She responded, 'Both are good and bad. Kabhi Kabhi aisa lagta hai ki aacha hua 40 din ka outdoor hai aur kabhi kabhi lagta hai he should have been at home for somethings (Sometimes I feel good that he has an outdoor shoot for 40 days but sometimes I feel he should be home).'
Kajol shared that after spending so many years together, she and Ajay have developed a deep understanding of each other's priorities. 'But we have been together for so many years and it's a life that we have lived together. So it had all become a part of the habit, I think we have gotten used to it. He is very passionate and he wouldn't be what he is today if he could not make films.'
When asked if she has any complaints about Ajay, Kajol said, 'I don't have any complaints. Whatever complaints I had, we have resolved them and they are way in the past.'
Kajol and Ajay first met on the sets of the 1995 film Hulchul. The two began dating soon after and tied the knot in 1999. The couple later welcomed their daughter Nysa in 2003 and their son Yug in 2010.
In the same interaction, Kajol also spoke about her children and their views on her film choices. She revealed that her kids want her to take up more comedy films like Ajay Devgn, as they don't enjoy watching her cry on the big screen. She said, ''We can't watch you crying on screen; you should do films like papa does. Do Golmaal!' They want me to do films that only make them laugh, and there is nobody crying, no glycerine is used, and nothing happens to me. I wonder what is this film where nothing happens to me, and I have to do nothing. Why am I in this film?'
