Cole Palmer changes Chelsea number as Liam Delap's new shirt confirmed after £30million transfer from Ipswich

COLE PALMER has switched to the No10 shirt at Chelsea - casting further doubt over Mykhailo Mudryk's future.
The winger has been provisionally suspended since December after failing a doping test while on international duty with Ukraine.

Confirmation of Mudryk's B-sample results has still not been announced - with the £88.5million forward potentially facing a four-year ban.
Chelsea and boss Enzo Maresca declared their support for the 24-year-old when news of his failed drugs test emerged.
However, Maresca was caught off guard by Mudryk turning up and meeting fans in Wroclaw, Poland ahead of last week's Conference League final.
Asked about Mudryk being in Poland, Maresca said: 'He is here? I don't know. I am happy for Mischa to be here.'
The former Shakhtar Donetsk player joined his team-mates at their party to celebrate winning the trophy and posed with a medal.
But just over a week after partying with teammates, Murdyk has been replaced as the Blues' No10 by star man Palmer.
Chelsea insist it is no reflection of his personal situation and that - ahead of the new season - he will be assigned a new number.
Mudryk wore the No15 shirt when he arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2023 but was given the No10 after Christian Pulisic left the club that summer.
Palmer arrived from Manchester City at the same time and has worn No20 since.
Chelsea's announcement confirming the change did not mention Mudryk.

The club have also confirmed that new £30m striker Liam Delap will wear the vacant No9 shirt for his new club.
Delap will look to break the trend of Chelsea No9s failing to make an impact.
The shirt number has been vacant for two years with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Romelu Lukaku, Gonzalo Higuain, Alvaro Morata, Radamel Falcao and Fernando Torres all having struggled in West London while wearing No9.

‘No one gets abuse like him' – ex-Rangers boss Philippe Clement says fan treatment of Gers star is unfair

PHILIPPE CLEMENT has backed Rangers' top goalscorer Cyriel Dessers and insisted: Nobody else gets the same flak. Belgian Clement started a transformation in the form of the striker after becoming Gers boss in October, 2023, following a struggle for form after Michael Beale signed him from Cremonese for £4.5 million. 2 Philippe Clement reckons the abuse of Cyriel Dessers is unjust Credit: Willie Vass Dessers, though, has still suffered from split fans opinion about his capabilities - despite even finishing last season as the Premiership's top scorer and overall hitting 29 goals. In total, the Nigerian international has notched 51 goals in 108 games. But doubts remain over his long term Ibrox future with new head coach Russell Martin now weighing up the squad he's inherited from the Clement era. But Martin's predecessor can't believe there's not more appreciation of the 30-year-old frontman. Clement said: 'I think Cyriel gets abuse like nobody else in the club or on the pitch at least. 'But he always was there to work hard, to do everything for the club every day, every training, every game. 'Also, in his career, he never scored as many goals as he did at Rangers. 'In the end he performed really well with his qualities. 'I think he was top scorer at the end of the season. 'Of course fans always want more, but I think Cyriel, if he played in a team that won the league, then he would be for everybody a good player. SunSport reporters clash over Russell Martin as he's revealed as new Rangers boss 'But if you don't win the league then for the fans you are not a good player any more. 'That's life at Rangers.' When we did our deep dive into how Martin could transform Rangers ahead of the new season, we couldn't find a place for Dessers in the starting XI. Hamza Igamane will fancy his chances of kicking on and there's been reported interest from Gers in Premier League cult hero Jamie Vardy, 38, and another striker at the other end of his career, 21-year-old Dor Turgeman. 2 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Lidl's sell-out pizza oven is back in shops this week – it's a dupe for a much more expensive one

LIDL is bringing back its sell-out pizza oven in shops this coming week. The Grillmeister Gas Pizza Oven costs just £79.99 and it's back in stores next Thursday. The gadget is a whopping £170 cheaper than the Ninja version and it's sure to be popular with shoppers once again. You can use the oven to cook your own crispy pizzas or fresh baguettes, and you can eat them straight from the oven. That makes the gadget perfect for garden parties and entertaining. It has a removable pizza stone and a door with latch and viewing window so you can keep an eye on your pizzas while they're cooking. The oven can reach 400C in just 15 minutes. If you're wanting to save space it comes with foldable feet. The oven includes a gas bottle connection hose and pressure reducing valve, and it's suitable for 5 and 11kg gas bottles. It also comes with a three-year warranty. It looks to be a good dupe for the Ninja Artisan Electric Outdoor Pizza Oven & Air Fryer, which is currently £249.99 on the Ninja website. The Ninja version usually sells for an RRP of £299.99. Five Lidl rosés you need this summer, according to a wine expert - a £6.99 buy is as light & crispy as £22 Whispering Angel You should bear in mind that the Lidl version doesn't have an air fryer function, but if you're fine with this then you can make a huge saving. Lidl recently sold another pizza oven for the even cheaper price of £29.99. The Grillmeister Barbecue Pizza Oven can be used on charcoal or gas barbecues. How much are other pizza ovens selling for? It's always worth shopping around and comparing products to make sure you're getting the best deal. Another more affordable option is the Gas Tabletop Pizza Oven with Cover which is currently on clearance at Argos for £54. The portable black steel pizza oven also uses gas and runs on propane. Argos says the oven is "light enough to take on trips" and "fits neatly on a table". If you're looking to splash out more there's the Ooni Koda 12 Gas Fuel Portable Outdoor Pizza Oven. It's currently on offer at John Lewis but it still costs £239.20. Its description says it can cook Neapolitan-style pizzas "in 60 seconds flat". "No assembly, no mess, no fuss, just quick and simple cooking for friends and family gatherings," it says. Kylian Mbappe responds to claims he left PSG for Real Madrid 'too soon' - after his former club won the Champions League without him

France captain Kylian Mbappe faced questions about Paris Saint-Germain 's Champions League triumph when he addressed the media on the eve of Sunday's UEFA Nations League third-place playoff against Germany. Mbappe left PSG to join Real Madrid last summer, ending his seven-year stay in Paris. He netted 256 goals in 308 games for PSG, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer. He also helped deliver 15 trophies to the Parc des Princes, but was unable to achieve European success. Part of the motivation behind his move to Madrid was the belief it would improve his chances of winning the Champions League — with Real having conquered Europe a record 15 times. However, Mbappe's first shot at Euro glory with Los Blancos ended in a 5-1 quarter-final defeat by Arsenal. PSG then beat Arsenal in the semis, before thrashing Inter Milan in last weekend's final in Munich. During Saturday's press conference, it was put to Mbappe that perhaps he had made a mistake by leaving PSG a little too early. But the 26-year-old hit back: 'I didn't leave too soon; my story with PSG was over. 'I am not bitter; I had reached the end of the road. I tried everything, and it was destiny that meant it had to happen without me. 'PSG winning the Champions League without me doesn't affect me. I was happy. I think they deserved it.' Mbappe was on the scoresheet on Thursday night when France fell to a thrilling 5-4 defeat by Spain in their Nations League semi-final. Spain will now face Portugal in Sunday's final after Cristiano Ronaldo and Co overcame hosts Germany 2-1 on Wednesday. The final will take place at Munich's Allianz Arena — which also staged PSG's win over Inter last weekend — after the game for third place is played in Stuttgart.
