Dakota Johnson Goes Sheer in Long-sleeve Nensi Dojaka Midi Dress and Bodysuit While Promoting ‘Materialists' on ‘Seth Meyers'
Dakota Johnson made her latest stop on her 'Materialists' promotional tour on Thursday in New York City with an appearance on 'The Late Show With Seth Meyers.' The actress costars in the film alongside Chris Evan and Pedro Pascal.
For her late-night talk show appearance, Johnson opted for the sheer trend, styling a long-sleeve midi dress courtesy of Nensi Dojaka. The actress wore the sheer piece with a fitted silhouette and exposed seams throughout. Beneath her sheer dress, Johnson added a brown, strapless bodysuit with a formfitting design.

As for her accessories, the recently announced global brand ambassador for Roberto Coin kept those elements relatively minimal, favoring simple earrings. She completed the ensemble with a pair of black Saint Laurent Raven slingback pointed-toe pumps.
When it came to her glam, Johnson's hair was styled straight and worn down, cascading past her shoulders, with fringe to frame her face by stylist Mark Townsend. Her makeup included such elements as bold brows, lined eyes and a glossy lip courtesy of artist Georgie Eisdell. Johnson's look was curated by Kate Young, who WWD named Best Stylist at the 2025 WWD Style Awards.
Young recently styled Johnson in another sheer look for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. While attending the Kering and Cannes Film Festival Official Dinner on May 18, Johnson wore an allover shimmering sleeveless dress by Gucci, with jewelry courtesy of Boucheron.
Johnson is just one of Young's high-profile clients. The stylist also collaborates with Michelle Williams and Julianne Moore. In an interview with Young from January, the stylist explained the rapid change she's seen in the fashion and entertainment industries and how the two have become inextricably linked.
'People didn't even have a stylist. I think a lot of people bought a dress to go to the Globes, or maybe their costume designer did it,' she said.
'Celebrities and designers form alliances in a way they didn't used to. They might have met and become friends in the past, but now people align themselves with brands and then also become brand ambassadors or faces of campaigns,' Young said. 'Now, brands are so good at identifying talent they're interested in very early.'
Written and directed by Oscar nominee Celine Song, 'Materialists' follows Johnson's character Lucy, a New York City matchmaker who finds herself at the center of a love triangle between her former flame, played by Evans, and a new love interest, played by Pascal. The film hits theaters June 13.

Astrologer Susan Miller Makes 2025 Predictions for Famous Gemini Like Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp
Gemini season is in full swing! World-renowned astrologer Susan Miller gave Us the scoop on what the air sign — a.k.a., people born between May 21 and June 20 — can expect this season and beyond. Miller also shared her insight on what lies ahead for notable Geminis like Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Kendrick Lamar. Depp, who was born June 9, 1963, has his 'Sun in Gemini in the 11th house of hopes and wishes,' one of the reasons for his loyal fan base. With Geminis in their Emerald Year, 'all kinds of opportunities have been coming to him,' with projects likely being revealed next summer. 'He'll go into the best year of his life,' Miller says. Jolie's future is looking bright too. The actress (born June 4, 1975) has both her Sun and Mercury in Gemini, so she's a natural in the arts and communication. Though 2025 is 'really good' for the director, she could embark on a 'really tough job' next year. But with her Mars located in fierce Aries, she'll be fine. 'She'll dive in, try it out and succeed!' Astrologer Susan Miller Makes 2025 Predictions for Famous Tauruses Like Kelly Clarkson Another talented Gemini with much to look forward to is Kendrick Lamar, whose birthdate is June 17, 1987. Lamar is blessed with his Moon in Pisces, 'the best placement for a musician,' and the award-winning rapper and songwriter is entering 'a highly intense career phase' where 'everything he's worked for is coming to fruition.' He is on fire! Scroll on to see what else is coming up for the zodiac sign in terms of love, finances and friendship, plus Miller's predictions for the Olsen twins! There's no stopping girls and guys born between May 21 and June 20. 'Everything [they] do is fast,' the astrologer tells Us, describing them as 'alert, versatile and perceptive.' The air sign possesses strong mental skills and has a special way with words: two traits that shine in pursuits related to writing, public speaking and sales. There's also an undeniably playful and sunshine-like aura to the witty Gemini, causing them to 'appear younger than [their] years.' Sharp-minded Geminis have never been ones to shy away from hard work. Now, their efforts and diligence are paying off exponentially. 'It's the best financial [time] in 12 years for them,' Miller says. But if you think their bank accounts have been growing due to pure luck or get-rich-quick schemes, think again. 'They [make money] the old-fashioned way,' she asserts. 'No one can say they didn't deserve it, because they earned it.' Whether single or coupled up, love is definitely in the air. 'All Geminis have been very magnetic in the past 12 months,' notes Miller. 'If they met someone [within the last year], that person is likely to stick around for a very long time.' For those still on the hunt, she emphasizes not to stress as the coming fall looks promising for dating matters: 'The 10 days that follow [Oct. 2] are very important for getting out and for meeting people.' 'Since March 7, 2023, Saturn's been in the 10th house of honors, awards, achievement and fame, so the spotlight's been on them and they've had to measure up and learn something new,' Miller explains. But she advises Geminis not to allow work obligations to get in the way of nurturing friendships. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (June 13, 1986) are the perfect embodiment of Gemini twins. 'They're on a roll,' Miller says of the former actresses and masterminds behind luxury fashion label The Row. Between June 9 and June 30 of 2026, Gemini enters one of the most financially rewarding periods in the decade. Their line will be reviewed favorably. If they need more funds, investors will be lining up to write a check.

What Would've Happened in the Canceled World War Z Movie Sequel?
Not that Brad Pitt ever really needed the extra exposure, but World War Z was supposed to mark the beginning of a science fiction series that would have placed the perennial A-list actor at the hot-zone epicenter of his very own expanded zombie franchise. In the original 2013 movie (currently airing on SYFY — view the schedule here!), Pitt starred as Gerry Lane, dragged out of retirement and back to his former role as a U.N. investigator, all to stake out the cure for a global zombie disease. The film ended with the game-changing tease that the cure renders zombies unable to detect humans who haven't been infected yet, which in turn set up a possible second film in which society might have fought to reclaim a world already devastated by the zombie apocalypse. Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Quantum of Solace) directed World War Z, and a similarly big directing name — David Fincher — was intended to be seated at the helm for Pitt's return in the planned (but never made) World War Z sequel. World War Z had been inspired by the same-named 2006 horror novel from author Max Brooks, and a 2012 Los Angeles Times feature flagged the first film as the opening salvo in what was meant to be a full-fledged zombie-themed movie trilogy that would feature Pitt in the ongoing leading role. Fincher's busy creative schedule, plus budget issues and a changing landscape of cultural standards at the international box office, all reportedly conspired to thwart the studio's attempts at getting a film followup to World War Z past the pre-production stage. By 2019, reports surfaced that plans for the sequel had officially been shelved. But in a more recent 2023 interview with GQ — fresh on the heels of the first TV season of post-apocalyptic creature drama The Last of Us — Fincher opened up about the direction his sequel collaboration with Pitt might have taken. 'It was a little like The Last of Us,' Fincher confided. 'I'm glad that we didn't do what we were doing, because The Last of Us has a lot more real estate to explore the same stuff. In our title sequence, we were going to use the little parasite… they used it in their title sequence, and in that wonderful opening with the Dick Cavett, David Frost-style talk show.' The Last of Us introduced its zombie-adjacent apocalypse of fungus-infected 'clickers' by showing, right from the start, the domino effect of societal panic that followed from the first reported cases of the disease's quickly-spreading pandemic among humans. Fincher's praise for the series' handling of similarly-themed material came with an additional revelation that his World Ward Z sequel likely would not have followed Brooks' book-based source material any more closely than the first film — but, he intriguingly added, 'there is some talk of doing that.' With no recent reports from the World War Z front, it's tough to know whether a sequel will ever materialize — or, for that matter, if the franchise might someday be rebooted under new creative direction and a new cast. That means the franchise remains quarantined to only a single movie for now... but at least it's a good one. Catch Pitt saving the planet from zombies in the original , airing this month on SYFY. Lifetime's new true-crime title Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story debuts tonight
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. 'When I was reading it, I'm like, 'This cannot be real. Like, this is not real, right?'" actress Jana Kramer told ABC News about the script for Lifetime's latest true crime thriller, Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story, which premieres on the cable network tonight, June 7 at 8pm Eastern Time. And it is, shockingly, a very true story, about a Kansas City's teen whose whole world comes crashing down when she learns that her uncle is actually a serial killer responsible for the murders of multiple women in the area, including her biological mother. Per the movie's official synopsis: "Heather Robinson (Rachel Stubington) grew up in a loving family in Illinois and, by the time she was a teen, had long known that she had been adopted as an infant by her parents. But in 2000, the then-15-year-old's world was shattered when she learned that the man she knew as her uncle, John Robinson (Steve Guttenberg), was actually a serial killer accused of murdering multiple women in the Kansas City area, including her biological mother. After her uncle's arrest, Heather learns the shocking truth about her birth mother's disappearance." Along with Rachel Stubington as Heather and Steve Guttenberg as Uncle John, the cast of Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story includes Jana Kramer, Ross Crain, Deja Dee, Jackie Sanders, Rose Decker, Sarah Hudson, Lily Talevski, Robyne Parrish and Molly Miller. Guttenberg, known for his roles in classic comedies like Police Academy and Three Men and a Baby, spoke to Remind magazine about going against-type to play a violent killer in the new Lifetime drama. 'It's such a great opportunity to be able to go outside your wheelhouse,' he said. 'And I think that's the classic nature of acting — people want to see you pop up through different holes. They want to see you surprise them.' 'To me, it was a story about destruction and what one man can do, [how] one man can change so many lives [through his actions],' the actor added. To tune into the premiere of Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story tonight at 8pm, you're going to need access to the Lifetime network. Those with cable packages can watch on their local Lifetime channel, but even if you don't have traditional cable, cord-cutters can also tune in online via a live TV streaming service that carries Lifetime, such as Frndly TV, Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and Philo TV. And if you miss the television broadcast tonight, don't fret: Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story will also be available to stream on beginning tomorrow, Sunday, June 8.
