Days of Palestine19 hours ago
DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, killing more than ten people, including five children, and injuring at least 25 others, in a wave of intense and targeted airstrikes launched in the past hour.
Medical sources reported that one of the attacks targeted a crowded area near the main market in Al-Shati camp, where a group of civilians was bombed, resulting in at least ten fatalities and dozens of injuries, some of them critical.
Another airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the 'Al-Haramain Building' on Al-Danaf Street in the southern part of the camp, killing at least three children in what residents described as a 'complete family massacre.'
A third strike hit an empty apartment near the Al-Ahrar headquarters in the northern part of the camp. No injuries were reported in that incident.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, the death toll since dawn has risen to 54, with 42 of the victims killed in Gaza City alone, marking one of the bloodiest days since the military offensive resumed.
The Gaza Strip, especially Gaza City and its refugee camps, is witnessing an unprecedented escalation in air and artillery strikes, further deteriorating the humanitarian situation and deepening the suffering of besieged civilians.

Euro-Med: European Position Fuels Genocide in Gaza

DaysofPal—The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has accused the European Union of directly contributing to the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip by failing to take effective action to stop Israel's assault and by complicity in supporting the illegal occupation of Palestinian land. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Monitor stated that Europe's inaction amounts to a blatant failure to fulfill its international legal obligations, particularly its duty to prevent and punish the crime of genocide. The rights group criticized the EU for merely 'monitoring Israel's compliance with a recent agreement to improve humanitarian aid access to Gaza,' calling this a reflection of Europe's profound lack of political will to exert any real pressure on the Israeli occupation, while civilians in Gaza continue to bear the brunt of war. The Monitor stressed that Europe's repeated emphasis on facilitating aid delivery, without taking serious steps to open crossings or ensure a sufficient and safe aid flow, serves only to whitewash Israel's image and exposes the hypocrisy of Europe's rhetoric on values and human rights. It further noted that reducing Gaza's humanitarian catastrophe to the logistics of aid trucks and crossings, while entire families are wiped out and massacres are committed daily, amounts to a betrayal of humanity and a cover-up of systematic starvation. The Monitor added that organizations like 'Gaza Humanitarian' merely serve as tools to sanitize Europe's bloody role in the crisis. The rights group called on the EU to move beyond expressions of 'concern' and toward concrete, effective measures that end complicity and dismantle the enabling structures allowing crimes in Gaza to persist. It warned that international complicity is no longer silent—it is an active partner in the catastrophe. Shortlink for this post:

Israel Launches Airstrikes on Syrian Army Headquarters in Damascus

DaysofPal – Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Wednesday targeting the Syrian army's general staff headquarters in the heart of Damascus, marking a significant escalation in Israel's military activity across Syria. The strikes followed what Israel called a 'warning' operation earlier in the day and came amid heightened tensions over the Syrian regime's actions in Druze-populated areas in the south. According to a statement by the Israeli military, fighter jets struck the entrance gate to the Syrian army's general command compound in Damascus in response to what Defense Minister Yisrael Katz described as the Syrian regime's presence in Suwayda and nearby Druze villages. Katz publicly warned the government to withdraw its forces from the area and 'leave the Druze alone.' The Israeli army further threatened more strikes, stating it was 'monitoring developments and actions against Druze citizens in Syria' and would act 'based on instructions from the political level.' The army added that it had placed additional aircraft on alert and diverted them to the Syrian front, signaling preparations for further operations. The Damascus strike was part of a wider Israeli aerial campaign across southern Syria. Earlier Wednesday, Israeli jets bombed several military positions belonging to the Syrian army in the provinces of Suwayda and Daraa. Local sources and state media reported strikes on the Shagrawiya area in the Suwayda countryside and the vicinity of the Thala military airport, where casualties were reported among Syrian government forces. Further attacks struck the 52nd Brigade base in Al-Harak, located in the Daraa countryside. A day earlier, Israeli jets targeted a military convoy as it withdrew from Suwayda, followed by another strike near Izra in eastern Daraa, which reportedly caused only material damage. The official Syrian news agency SANA confirmed the Israeli strikes and reported that two people were injured in the attack on Damascus. No further details were provided on the extent of the damage or whether the wounded were civilians or military personnel. The occupation army claimed that its raids were 'to protect the Druze' in Suwayda, which has been witnessing clashes between local armed factions and Bedouin tribes since Sunday against the backdrop of mutual detentions, before Syrian security forces intervened to calm the situation. Hamas: Israel's Creation of 'Magen Oz' Route Reveals Malicious Intentions to Remain in Gaza

DaysofPal—The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has accused the Israeli occupation of attempting to impose new realities on the ground that confirm its intentions to remain in Gaza and not end the war, following the Israeli army's announcement of a new military corridor named 'Magen Oz', which separates eastern Khan Younis from its western part. Hamas senior official Dr. Bassem Naim said in a Facebook post that the establishment of this new route contradicts Israel's claims at the negotiating table, stressing that the Israeli occupation is only engaging in negotiations superficially to manage domestic opinion and ease international pressure. Naim added, 'Israel hasn't submitted any new maps for over a week, despite what it claims in the media. Today's announcement of the new route that splits Khan Younis in half is a clear response in practice.' The announcement comes amid ongoing international efforts to reach a temporary ceasefire in Gaza, which are being hindered by Israeli-imposed obstacles, notably the 'Morag' corridor, which separates Rafah from Khan Younis and remains one of the main points of contention in the Doha talks. With the declaration of 'Magen Oz', the number of Israeli military corridors dissecting Gaza has now risen to four: Netzarim, Philadelphi, Morag, and Magen Oz, with the newest route extending 15 kilometers. Observers have described the move as an indication of Israel's intention to enforce a permanent geographic division of the Gaza Strip. Shortlink for this post:
