Dunelm is currently in the middle of its summer sale, which is seeing select items getting discounts up to 50 per cent. Renowned for homeware and garden selection, those wanting to revamp their home will be having a field day as popular items get slashed in price.
From bedding and curtains to wall art and outdoor seating, shoppers have been racing to grab their favourite items before the sale ends on June 22.
For those looking to add a pop of colour into their dining room or conservatory, Dunelm has dropped the price of the Fifi Dining Chair. Normally retailing for £45, shoppers can now grab them for £31.50 - it should be noted this is the price of a singular chair.
Crafted with a solid wooden frame, these chairs can easily be paired with many different dining tables and decorated with comfy cushions, reports Birmingham Live. Designed with a modern curved backrest with a scallop feature, this chair would be a cute edition to any home.
Currently available in apricot, blue and natural, there are chairs available for people who want to add a pop of colour to their home, as well as those who want to continue a minimalistic design. However, shoppers need to be quick as reviewers have mentioned having to wait for colours to come back into stock recently.

Normally retailing for £79, this velvet chair is now reduced to £55.30 in select colours. While there are 10 colourways available, only the blush, black, grey and bottle green editions are reduced in the sale.
Alternatively, Debenhams has dropped the price of the MCC Direct Set of 4 Velvet Fabric Upholstered Dining Chairs. Usually priced at £159.99, shoppers will be able to get four seats for only £98.99. Available in nine colourways, these chairs come with rubber pads at the ends of the legs to protect the floor from scratching.
Back to the Fifi Dining Chair, Dunelm shoppers have awarded the product a 4.5 star rating, with the vast majority of shoppers praising the chairs for their colour and how easy they are to assemble.
One delighted shopper wrote: "I really love this chair! They are super comfy and they look great! They were very easy to assemble."
With another shopper agreeing: "Lovely comfortable chairs! Waiting for them to come back into stock to order two more!"
However, one shopper didn't agree with the comfort of the seats, writing: "Great chairs, they look lovely and are sturdy. A little hard to sit on so will be buying cushions."
While one shopper noted that they struggled with assembling the chairs: "I've just tried to set two up and they do not line up, looks like these have been rushed and not made properly."
Despite this, another shopper praised: "Lovely chair, easy to assemble, well made and very comfortable, love the colour so bright and cheery, ( I bought the blue.) Excellent value for money, looks much more expensive than it is, great quality, nice and sturdy but not heavy to move about, love it so much I've bought three more!"
A four five-star reviewer also said: "Really good quality, heavy sturdy chair. Easy to put together and I bought one of each colour so looks really good in my dining room. Really glad I got these as the quality and colour are much better than I expected for the price. Would definitely recommend these."

Questions over council spending on Friars Walk Newport
The local authority negotiated a deal with the owners of Friars Walk in 2017 that would top up income if the centre was not collecting enough rent. Payments in each of the past six financial years have reached the maximum £500,000 – new figures seen by the Local Democracy Reporting Service show. Cllr Matthew Evans, the leader of the Conservative opposition group, said he was 'absolutely staggered that the council has squandered over £3.56 million of local taxpayers' money on this'. A council spokesperson defended the deal and said the local authority would still benefit overall from the deal, even if the maximum £500,000 was paid out annually over the course of the 15-year deal. The council received £8 million when it signed the deal, and would be liable to pay a maximum of £7.5 million in top-ups, they explained. 'It is important to note that as well as the rental subsidy, the arrangement ensures that the council receives additional rent payments if the centre's profits exceed certain thresholds,' the spokesperson added. But Cllr Evans said the deal to top up low rents involved money which could be better spent on council services. 'Think how many additional social service staff could have been employed, or potholes fixed,' he said. 'I seem to recall when I questioned the decision taken by the cabinet at the time, I was told that it was merely 'an insurance policy' which would never be called on. 'Sadly the public have been picking up the tab for Labour's failure to regenerate the city centre. The reopening of the former Debenhams site is good news, but more needs to be done and fast.' A homeware store is reportedly set to open in part of the former Debenhams premises, which was described as the anchor tenant for the Friars Walk centre. Debenhams' high-street operations ceased in 2021 and the future of the large Newport site has been uncertain until the recent news of an incoming tenant. Michael Enea, a Conservative Party campaigner and political blogger, has urged the council to consider what he called 'huge' business rate charges for larger premises in the city centre. 'The former Debenhams site at £345,000 a year, the old Cineworld complex is £64,500 a year – these are astronomical figures,' he said. 'No wonder vast swathes of businesses have moved to out-of-town retail parks. We need a total review of business rates in Wales whereby it becomes an incentive to trade in our town and city centres. Something has to change.' The local authority spokesperson said Newport City Council is not responsible for setting business rates. 'We do, however, offer support for small and medium-sized city centre businesses through our local city centre rate relief scheme, which offers a discount of 25% on non-domestic rates for qualifying properties,' they explained. 'Very small businesses already receive rate relief through the Welsh Government's small business rate relief scheme. 'The Welsh Government also offers support for larger businesses through its retail, leisure and hospitality relief scheme, which offers a discount of 40 per cent on non- domestic rates, capped at £110,000 per business.'
