PFF Urges Titans to Sign Former Chiefs Super Bowl Champion CB
The Tennessee Titans spent big to add cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, but he was limited to five games due to injury last season. He also wasn't playing at a high level before the injury.
Regardless, he'll likely go into next season at the team's CB1, but the Titans might need more help around him. They didn't draft a cornerback until the sixth round, and while Jarvis Brownlee Jr. played well last season, the Titans could still use more depth.

At this point in free agency, options are limited, but there are a few proven veteran cornerbacks who haven't been signed yet.

Pro Football Focus believes the Titans need to address the cornerback issue and believes that former Miami Dolphins cornerback Kendall Fuller could be the right fit.
"L'Jarius Sneed's start in Tennessee was far from productive, earning a 36.8 PFF coverage grade before his season ended due to injury in Week 6," Mason Cameron wrote. "Darrell Baker Jr. and Jarvis Brownlee Jr. stepped in to hold down the fort with middling results.
"With Sneed now facing legal troubles, finding stability at cornerback is paramount for the Titans, who ran the highest rate of quarters coverage (21.9%) in the NFL last season. Targeting a veteran in Kendall Fuller would be a savvy move, as he posted a 76.0 PFF coverage grade or better during his time in Washington's quarters-heavy scheme."

Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi should know Fuller well, as they were both with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018 and 2019. The veteran cornerback was part of the first Super Bowl win of the current Chiefs dynasty.

NFL legend Joe Theismann comments on the Kansas City Chiefs' unique 2025 schedule This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke to Washington Commanders and NFL legend Joe Theismann about his participation in this year's American Century Championship, which will take place July 9-13 at Edgewood Tahoe, and his take on the Kansas City Chiefs' busy 2025 regular season schedule. Theismann had a legendary career as a quarterback in the NFL, navigating his own set of unusual schedule circumstances that dated back to the players' strike in 1982. He believes the Chiefs' latest unique regular season schedule won't be an issue for them in 2025. "I don't think it'll affect the Chiefs because they've been doing it for a while. I might say yes if you were a team that hadn't been through it, but the Chiefs are used to being in the spotlight." Said Theismann, "They're used to playing on unusual days, four days rest, 10 days rest, byes, and everything else. So I don't see it affecting them. I think they'll come back with a vengeance. I think last year, the way the Super Bowl ended, which was similar to the one against Tampa Bay, they just got run over and dominated. And that doesn't sit well with Andy (Reid), and I know it doesn't sit well with Patrick (Mahomes), and I expect Travis Kelce to have one heck of a year based upon, you know, his performance was a good one, but not to the standard that he sets for himself. So that'll be exciting to see as well." The annual tournament awards $750,000 in prize money, much of which the celebrity players donate to local and national charities. Over the years, nearly $8 million has been donated to non-profit causes. Network television exposure on NBC and a first-place prize of $150,000 make the celebrity tournament one of the most prestigious in the golf world.

The NFL's four-time Most Valuable Player spent months contemplating his future before deciding to sign a one-year deal with the Steelers. The 41-year-old held a news conference on Tuesday after spending his first day training with the Steelers and one of the last questions was about the ring. "Yeah, it's a wedding ring," said Rodgers. Asked how long he's been married, he added: "It's been a couple of months." Rodgers was released after a disappointing second season with the New York Jets, becoming a free agent for the first time in his 20-year career. He had visited the Steelers and reportedly received an offer from the New York Giants, but in April, Rodgers said that he was "open to anything", including retirement.
