One of the most sought-after coins wanted by collectors is the Kew Gardens 50p.
Just 210,000 coins of this 2009 design were released into circulation - and almost all are in private hands according to The Royal Mint.
But the lucky holders of these coins, which feature the Chinese Pagoda at Kew, could sell them for as much as £150 each.
Another rare coin that could fetch £1,000 or more came into existence through a famous error on its wording.

Dating the 1983, these 2p coins read "new pence" instead of "two pence" on its tails side.
TikTok account coincollectingwizard says these decades old 2ps are "a very hard coin to find".
The account advises collectors and coin enthusiasts to check their Royal Mint sets - or "even luckier" find one in their change - if they hope to source one.
While the 1983 date on the coin is a sign to look out for, the key unique feature is that "new pence" writing on the reverse side.

Weeks or months that's why they sell it big portion." Another agreed and shared: "The root cultural difference is that America is too damn big. for most people, grocery store is too far away. European countries smaller, grocery stores are closer. Europeans more likely (or more capable of) going grocery multiple times/week. Americans want to go once a week or less." "When people buy food to last a week, not a singular meal," said another. One other insisted: "Oh come on Balkan families would be excited to use products with that size." Cookie-flavoured bath products Lucija was shocked after she spotted the Dove Crumbl cookie flavoured bath and shower products she spotted in supermarkets. "I have no words for this one," she said. Earlier this year the Crumbl company, which has become one of the fastest selling dessert chains in the US, collaborated with Dove to roll out dessert-scented body washes, hand washes, and body scrubs. The three scents are Confetti Cake, Lemon Glaze, and Strawberry Crumb Cake. "What/s wrong with the Dove one? It's just a selection of scents," added another. "The Dove is the greatest of all time, I want that in Europe," insisted another. Bright orange Fanta "ORANGE Fanta," wrote Lucija in her baffled post. There's nothing like tucking into a cold Fanta on a warm day, but in many European countries, the colour of the treat looks a lot different to other continents. While in the UK and other European countries, it looks light a deep yellow or light orange, in the US it is a bright and bold orange colour. The colour varies because of the ingredients used and regulations. One US-based Redditor shared their experience drinking the fizzy beverage in Europe, explaining the colour difference was due to different ingredients and varying levels of sugar content. "Fanta in Italy has no dyes or artificial flavours," they wrote, alongside a photo of the pale yellow drink They added: "Slightly less sugary and a bit more tangy. It's the same soda only by name." One other commented: "You're so right about everything but I will not accept Fanta slander. Fanta in Europe is just sparkling orange juice." Another shared: "I'm from the Maldives and the Fanta here has the same neon orange colon, isn't it supposed to be like that?" "I am from an African country and orange Fanta is so nice but once you move to a European country their Fanta is just disgusting," another insisted. Skittles drinks Lucija was shocked to see what she has dubbed "radioactive soda" after she found Skittles drinks on the shelves of US supermarkets. Hash browns are such a convenient staple to keep in the freezer. These crispy golden triangles of potato make a brilliant addition to breakfast or brunch, particularly when topped with eggs or avocado or served as part of a full English. However, if you're a fan of a breakfast taco, you might not realise that you can actually use a hash brown to stuff with your favourite ingredients - and it's incredibly simple to do. Recipe creator Emily Scott, also known as What I Ate For Breakfast, recently shared a recipe on TikTok for smashed hash brown tacos. To make them, all you need to do is one straightforward step before putting the hash browns in the oven. By taking the hash browns out of the freezer and allowing them to thaw before flattening them with some cheese, they'll come out of the oven or air fryer wonderfully crispy and round - ideal for topping with eggs, sausages, avocado or anything else you fancy, reports the Express. Emily said: "Loaded with fried eggs, avocado and a drizzle of hot honey, these crispy hash brown & parmesan breakfast tacos are quick, easy and totally delicious." Fans in the comments were quick to point out how delicious the recipe looked, with one person saying: "Oh this looks so good but so simple, I'm trying this." Another person said: "Looks banging." Here's everything you need to make it. Hash brown breakfast tacos Ingredients (serves one) 20g grated Parmesan or cheddar cheese Two hash browns One avocado One egg Drizzle of hot honey Pinch of chilli flakes Salt and pepper to taste Method Get a lined baking tray or air fryer tray and arrange the grated cheese into two small round piles. Thaw two hash browns from the freezer, then using your hands, press them down onto each cheese circle until they're completely flattened into it. Grate a bit more cheese on top of each hash brown. Bake in the air fryer or oven at 180C for roughly 15-17 minutes, turning halfway through, until the hash browns are golden and crispy. Remove them and garnish with your preferred ingredients. In this recipe, Emily used smashed avocado, a fried egg, a drizzle of hot honey and some chilli flakes for an extra kick.
