Ashendon crash: Motorcyclist killed in collision on Canning Dam Road, police call for information

A motorcyclist has died in a collision in Ashendon on Thursday afternoon, sparking a plea from police for public information.
A black Kawasaki motorcycle and a white Nissan 370Z coupe collided on Canning Dam Road about 3.10pm.
The 45-year-old man driving the motorbike was sadly declared dead at the scene by St John Ambulance paramedics.
The 36-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Armadale Hospital as a precaution.
Major crash investigators are appealing for witnesses to contact police via

on 1800 333 000.
Dash-cam or mobile phone vision from the location between 3pm and 3.30pm can be
uploaded
directly to investigators.

Caitlyn died from her injuries at the scene. An 18-year-old male passenger and two 16-year-old female passengers were treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash. Caitlyn's father has spoken out about the loss of his only child, lamenting that he would never experience major life milestones with her. 'I'll never walk her down the aisle, I'll never meet her first child,' Greg Bragger said.

A 15-year-old girl has died in car crash in WA's South West region on Saturday night. Police say about 8pm in Hoffman, a white Toyota Landcruiser travelling on Scarp Road left the road and rolled several times near the Hoffman Road intersection. 'A 15-year-old female passenger died from her injuries at the scene,' WA Police said in a statement. 'The 16-year-old male driver of the vehicle, and a 17-year-old male passenger were conveyed by St John Ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
