Liverpool man charged over suspected XL bully attack in Warrington
A man has been charged after an 84-year-old man was attacked by a suspected XL bully dog and left critically injured.The victim was "savagely attacked" after being chased into a garden in Bardsley Avenue in Warrington, on Monday evening, Cheshire Police said. Sean Garner, 30, from Liverpool, has been charged with being the owner of a dangerously out of control dog, causing serious injury and possession of a fighting dog.He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court.
A 29-year-old woman who was arrested as part of the investigation was previously released on conditional bail.The victim remains in hospital after suffering "life-changing" injuries, the force said.

I'm gonna be famous', and unfortunately this is not under the most optimal of circumstances." Aaron and his wife Dana shared their daughter's tragic story to raise awareness of the social media challenge. Dana said: "There's no ID required. It's odorless. It's everything kids look for. "They can afford it, they can get it, and it doesn't show in mom and dad's drug test."
