Girls shine in Nagaland board exams

Dimapur: Girls topped the merit list in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) 2025 and also in the three streams of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2025 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education. The results were declared on Friday.
Lungyihangle Nring of St. Paul Hr. Sec. School Dimapur topped the HSLC Examination with 98.67%.
In the HSSLC Examination, Vikhono Senotsu of Government Higher Secondary School Jotsoma topped the arts stream with 96.20%, Arti Kumari of Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School Dimapur topped in commerce stream with 94.60% and Snigtha Mukherjee of St John Higher Secondary Residential School Dimapur topped the science stream with 93.40%.
In the HSLC examination, 48.41% of students from government schools and 87.64% from private schools qualified. Among repeater students, 14.59% qualified.
In the HSSLC examination, the pass percentage in arts stream was 84.05%, commerce 81.40% and science 76.54%.

The official notice said, 'Candidates are requested to visit the website and submit the correct answer as per his/her opinion along with supporting documents/papers etc. to substantiate the claim in the link provided in the official website on or before 13-06-2025 for taking necessary action from this end. No claim for correction of Answer Key will be entertained if the same is not supported by specific documents. Reference to any website or any unspecified documents will not be entertained. The link will be available from tomorrow on 09/06/2025. No petition through email or hard copy regarding claim and objection against Answer key will be considered.'
