Israel strikes deep in Tehran: +50 fighter jets target nuclear and missile sites
According to the Israeli military, the strikes focused on a centrifuge production site and multiple facilities linked to Iran's missile manufacturing program. It described the operation as part of efforts to degrade Iran's capacity to enrich uranium to high levels and produce advanced weaponry.

The targeted locations—allegedly used in recent attacks against Israel—included a facility for producing surface-to-surface missile components and another for surface-to-air missile systems.
Iranian media reported heavy explosions in eastern Tehran, including damage to the Khojir missile production complex and Imam Hussein University. Additional blasts were heard in Abhar, in Zanjan Province. The governor of Varamin, southeast of Tehran, announced that an Israeli drone was intercepted and destroyed in the vicinity of the city.
Iranian media also raised the overall death toll from Israeli airstrikes to 585, with 1,326 people wounded since the campaign began.
In response, Iran launched a series of missile attacks early Wednesday targeting several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod, and Beersheba. Israeli estimates indicated that approximately 25 missiles were fired in two waves.
Maariv newspaper reported that thousands of Israelis were evacuated from affected areas following the strikes. The Tel Aviv municipality began inspecting damaged buildings to determine whether any require demolition.

Israel kills 27+ Palestinians since dawn
Shafaq News – Gaza At least 27 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn, including four people waiting for humanitarian aid, according to Palestinian media on Monday. Strikes and artillery fire hit several areas, including Deir al-Balah and the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. In Gaza City, a missile struck the roof of a building housing a kindergarten, causing injuries and widespread panic among children, the Palestinian Information Center reported. The death toll from a previous Israeli strike in the Sudaniya area—where civilians had gathered for food—also rose from 73 to 99, medical sources confirmed. Gaza's press under fire: Israel kills Palestinian journalist
Shafaq News – Gaza Palestinian journalist Tamer al-Zaanin was shot dead Monday by Israeli forces during a raid in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, according to the Palestinian Information Center. His death adds to the growing toll among Gaza's press corps, which international watchdogs warn is being deliberately targeted. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has labeled Gaza the most dangerous place in the world for journalists. At least 228 media workers have been killed since the war began on October 7, 2023, including 46 reportedly targeted for their reporting, RSF stated.
