Some of the products are marked to just pennies, but the deals aren't available in every Asda store.
One customer shared the haul he picked up in a post on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
"This will keep a few people happy and their clothes smelling nice for a while," the bargain hunter joked.
He revealed that he visited eight Asda stores in search of the sales and "drew blanks" in five.
The Facebook user explained that he got "a few minor bits" in one, while he "did OK" in another.
He revealed the final store he visited "had shelves full and still had loads when I left".
According to the bargain hunter, Asda shoppers need to be prepared to put in some time and effort to nab these deals.
He shared images of all the products he picked up, filling multiple shopping trolleys and baskets, as well as his car boot.
His haul included Vanish Oxi Action, which was reduced to just £2.35.
He also nabbed Daz Gel, Lenor Fabric Conditioner, Lenor Scent Booster Beads, Comfort Laundry Detergent, Ineos Laundry Detergent, Persil Wonder Wash and detergent capsules.

The rest of his boot was filled with Surf Detergent Capsules, Eco Egg Laundry Egg Refill Pellets, Fairy Detergent Capsules, and Bold Detergent Capsules.
Meanwhile, the Asda own brand Fabric Softeners were available for just 68p.
Another shopper shared the buys she picked up from the Asda location in Pentwyn.
The store had reduced all its Surf products to just £1.50.
Meanwhile, the Persil 55 Wonder Wash is available for just £2.50, and the Ineos Laundry Detergent is listed for £1.48.
Laundry tips
Catherine Green, sustainable cleaning expert at smol shared her laundry tips.
How often should you be remaking your bed?
When it comes to your bed, maintaining a hygienic sleep setup can actually improve your sleep quality, helping you start every day better.
Most people shed 500 million skin cells per day and a lot of that ends up in bed for dust mites to feed on. And those with asthma or allergies might see symptoms worsen by sleeping on dirty sheets!
You want to be washing your sheets once a week - or every 10 days if you don't suffer from allergies and wear nightclothes. Bedding builds up with sweat, skin cells and oils quickly, even if it doesn't look dirty.
Using an effective detergent like smol's will still give you a great clean on a 20°C cycle - that's better for the planet and your energy bills!
What temperature do smol recommend then?
For your regular weekly washes I recommend washing most loads at 20°C for 30 minutes. It's gentler on fabrics, slashes energy use, and still delivers excellent stain removal with the right detergent. A colder wash can actually be more effective if you opt for a bio detergent as its enzymes need cooler water; too hot and they lose their ability to digest stains. A wash at 60°c (unless you have silk sheets) every now and again can help kill off dust mites and other nasties.
What's the difference between bio and non-bio detergent?
Bio detergents contain enzymes, which are especially good at breaking down tough stains like food, grass, or sweat. It's best used in mid to low temperature washes (ideally between 20-40°C) as anything hotter can cause them not to work effectively.
Non-bio skips the enzymes, which in turn makes it more suitable for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Although non-bio doesn't contain enzymes, it's still great at removing stains and keeping your clothes clean, you just may need to use a slightly higher temperature setting to aid with the cleaning process.
And there's a secret button on your washing machine that could save you £72 per year.
Meanwhile, B&M shoppers were racing to pick up laundry buy scanning for just 10p.
Or a 69p household item can also be used to remove stains from your clothes.
And five simple laundry hacks that save you money and protect your clothes.
Plus, adding another kitchen staple will instantly brighten your laundry.

Cadbury confirms its discontinued much-loved biscuit treat

CADBURY has discontinued its Bournville fingers in spite of rave reviews from fans. The crispy biscuits were a popular item within Cadbury's Bournville range, which features dark chocolate products. 1 But manufacturer Cadbury this week confirmed it has ended the treat, having originally launched it in October 2020 as a lockdown treat to share at home. The Fingers were praised for being less sweet than the ordinary Dairy Milk fingers, meaning you could eat more of them at any one time. One fan said on the Asda website: 'I used to enjoy the regular chocolate fingers but since I've tried these I'm a convert! They are soo delicious especially with a cup of tea, and because they aren't as sweet as the usual chocolate fingers, they are also very moreish! 'Would recommend for everyone!' Another added: 'Just delicious. I'm a plain chocolate person, so made up with these.' A third said: 'Can't believe how nice they are. Were sadly gone in minutes.' The product had been particularly popular with vegans, as it did not contain milk, but there was disappointment in 2022 after skimmed milk powder was included in the recipe. Cadbury's owner Mondelēz International said: 'We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and our business. "Our Cadbury Bournville Fingers were discontinued this year. However, we still have plenty of other delicious products for consumers to enjoy, such as our Cadbury Bournville Giant Dark Buttons and our classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fingers.' It's not the first time a discontinued product has caused upset. Cadbury has also confirmed it has discontinued its Fry's Coffee Cream bars, while dark chocolate Toberlones have also gone. Meanwhile, Aldi has axed its Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar, leaving fans upset as they struggle to find their favourite sweet treat. DISCONTINUED DARK CHOCOLATE It comes as Brits have had to wave goodbye to a number of dark chocolate bars. Toblerone axed the dark chocolate version of the bar earlier this year. Mars axed its dark chocolate Bounty in 2023, leaving customers heartbroken. At the time shoppers said the moves was "bad for their mental health". Others were quick to share their pain with one fan saying: "Noooooo. Dark chocolate Bountys beat milk chocolate Bountys hands down. And it's not only dark chocolate fans getting bruised, a number of beloved chocolate bars have vanished from shelves in recent years. Nestlé confirmed two years ago that it had axed the Caramac bar, first launched in the late 1950s, due to "low sales". But the treat has been spotted sporadically at bargain retailers since. However, it's not all bad news sometimes iconic chocolate bars make a return. Milky Way Crispy Rolls returned earlier after they were discontinued three years ago. Why are products axed or recipes changed? ANALYSIS by chief consumer reporter James Flanders. Food and drinks makers have been known to tweak their recipes or axe items altogether. They often say that this is down to the changing tastes of customers. There are several reasons why this could be done. For example, government regulation, like the "sugar tax," forces firms to change their recipes. Some manufacturers might choose to tweak ingredients to cut costs. They may opt for a cheaper alternative, especially when costs are rising to keep prices stable. For example, Tango Cherry disappeared from shelves in 2018. It has recently returned after six years away but as a sugar-free version. Fanta removed sweetener from its sugar-free alternative earlier this year. Suntory tweaked the flavour of its flagship Lucozade Original and Orange energy drinks. While the amount of sugar in every bottle remains unchanged, the supplier swapped out the sweetener aspartame for sucralose.
