Lions fans poke fun at Australian commentary following Hugo Keenan winner
Behind all game and, at one point, trailing 23-5, the Lions battled back in an epic in front of 90,000 people in Melbourne.
The only time they led was when Keenan went over the try line at the death to win the series.
However, referee Andrea Piardi spent time mulling over a clearout from Jac Morgan in the build-up to the try but eventually decided there was no foul play, thus giving the Lions victory and an unassailable series lead.
Such is the partisan nature of the tour, Sky Sports commentary were jubilant with the victory, while Ronan O'Gara said he didn't see anything in the clear out worthy of foul play when mulling over the decision.
In Australia, however, with the series lost, they viewed the Morgan play as a bit more contentious
"A bloke has his nose 6cm off the floor, legal clear out, no direct head contact. Come on lads," said one social media user of the Australian.
"This Aussie commentators whining about the ref not awarding a penalty," said another.
"Listening to the Aussie commentary is incredible, absolutely begging it as a penalty," said another.
However, it is worth noting there was plenty on social media who thought Australia should have been awarded a penalty.
The Lions would win the game 29-26 in a clash for the ages and now they will be looking to complete the clean sweep next weekend.With a game to spare, the Lions won their first series since 2013 and now eye a whitewash that would be a unique achievement in the professional era.
"Wow, it was never in doubt, was it? Amazing, the occasion. The fans all deserve this, a grand slam finish like that," Andy Farrell told Sky Sports after the game.
"It weren't too great in the first half, how we started, very costly on the scoreboard. We found a way to get back in the game and take it to them in the second half.
"What a finish! I was screaming 'pass it, pass it' to Hugo, but he was never going to pass it.
"When we was able to build pressure we was rolling pretty nicely."

PERFORMANCE COACH GARY Keegan's old connections came in handy for the Lions as they prepared for their second Test win against the Wallabies. Keegan, who works closely with Andy Farrell with Ireland and now the Lions, goes a long way back with Irish boxing icon Katie Taylor. He was the high performance director of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association when Taylor began to make a name for herself as an amateur, helping to guide the early stages of her career. So earlier this week, as Farrell's Lions prepared for what they knew could be a decisive game against Australia in Melbourne, Keenan got onto his old friend. Taylor's video went down brilliantly with the Lions squad and proved prescient in terms of how the second Test unfolded. 'It was unbelievably poignant and powerful,' said Lions and Ireland number eight Jack Conan after the last-gasp 29-26 win over the Wallabies. 'It spoke about being prepared to win with skill, but be ready to win by will. 'I think that was something that summed up today massively because we were not at our best at all.' Conan hails from Bray, where Taylor is also from, so the video was particularly special for him. 'Massively, huge,' said Conan. Luke Littler beats James Wade to win first World Matchplay crown in Blackpool
Luke Littler won his first World Matchplay crown as James Wade's remarkable run in Blackpool fell at the final hurdle. Littler claimed a hard-fought 18-13 victory at the Winter Gardens to become the fifth player to win the PDC Triple Crown – Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries having also won World Championship, Matchplay and Premier League titles.
