WALL-E and EVE Star in New LEGO Set
20 years ago,Pixarbegan development of the dystopian filmWALL-E. 10 years later,LEGOcelebrated the hit 2008 movie with the release of the fan-designedLEGO Ideas WALL-E set. Another 10 years have passed and theLEGO Disneyline is ready to expand with a new WALL-E and EVE set.
Constructed of 811 pieces, the LEGO Disney WALL-E and EVE building set is a playful homage toWALL-E. Both characters have been carefully recreated in LEGO form with functional features. These range from WALL-E's tracks rolling to both him and EVE featuring movable arms and heads. Joining the cute couple is M-O the cleaning 'Microbe Obliterator' with a spinning brush and Hal, WALL-E's pet cockroach. The set is designed for adults, hence its 18+ designation, and stands over 5 inches tall when constructed.
For those looking to pick up LEGO Disney's new WALL-E and EVE set, it is available for pre-order now via LEGO at a price of $70 USD. Its retail release date is set for September 1, exactly 10 years after the first set released, and is when pre-orders will ship.
