Pics: Dead Democrat congressman mysteriously still sending fundraising emails
Pictures shared on social media by a former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informant show that fundraising emails are still being sent out on behalf of former Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), who died last month from esophageal cancer.
According to People.com, Connolly died in May at the age of 75. The outlet reported that the Democrat congressman's death came just weeks after he confirmed that his esophageal cancer had returned following 'grueling' cancer treatments since his initial diagnosis in 2024.
Despite Connolly's death in May, Kamran Fareedi, a former FBI informant, has reported that the Democrat congressman's campaign is continuing to send fundraising emails to Connolly's supporters.

Sharing pictures of the fundraising emails Fareedi has continued to receive from Connolly's campaign following the congressman's death, the former FBI informant tweeted, 'Why am I getting emails from @GerryConnolly's campaign AFTER he has passed away? Beyond unethical.'
In another post, Fareedi wrote, 'For those unfamiliar, former Connolly campaign operatives are trying to coronate his former Chief of Staff as the successor to Connolly's congressional seat, who would probably hold the office and rule over Fairfax County constituents for the next few decades.'
Fareedi claimed that a Democrat primary process is scheduled to begin in 'just 22 days at polling places that still haven't even been announced' and that whoever is responsible for overseeing the deceased Democrat congressman's campaign infrastructure is trying to use it to 'secure James Walkinshaw the nomination.'
The former FBI informant shared a screenshot of one of the fundraising emails, explaining that each of the fundraising emails he received has ended with a paragraph regarding Connolly's death last month. The fundraising email noted that Connolly died 'after a courageous battle with cancer' on May 21.
The email also stated, 'Before his passing, Gerry formally endorsed his longtime advisor, former Chief of Staff and current Fairfax County Supervisor James Walkinshaw, to succeed him in Congress and continue the work they began together.'
A party run primary process is being held in just 22 days at polling places that still haven't even been announced.
Meanwhile, whoever is controlling the @GerryConnolly campaign infrastructure is using it to try and secure James Walkinshaw the nomination.

David Hogg, the 25-year-old progressive firebrand, will not compete in the new Democratic National Committee (DNC) vice chair elections that were decided today after a majority of members voted for a new election. After three days of submitting electronic ballots, DNC members voted to uphold the Credentials Committee's resolution proposed by longtime Democratic Party activist Kalyn Free to host a re-election for two vice-chair positions, currently held by Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta. Seventy-five percent of those who cast a ballot voted in favor of the resolution, while 25% voted against it. A total of 89% of DNC members cast a ballot. On Saturday, a Chinese J-15 jet from the aircraft carrier Shandong chased a Japanese P-3C patrol aircraft for about 40 minutes, the ministry said. On Sunday, a J-15 chased a P-3C for 80 minutes, crossing in front of the Japanese aircraft at a distance of only 900 meters (2,950 feet), it said. At one point on both days, a Chinese J-15 flew as close as 45 meters to a Japanese aircraft, the ministry said. The P-3C aircraft, belonging to Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force based in the island of Okinawa, were conducting surveillance over international waters in the Pacific, the ministry said. "Such abnormal approaches by Chinese military aircraft could potentially cause accidental collisions, and we have expressed serious concern and strongly requested prevention of recurrence," the ministry said, attaching close-up images of the J-15 jet it took on Sunday. Earlier this week, Tokyo said the Shandong and another Chinese carrier the Liaoning were conducting simultaneous operations in the Pacific for the first time, describing it as a move signifying Beijing's intention to further widen its capabilities beyond its borders. Beijing on Tuesday said the operations were a "routine training" exercise that did not target specific countries. In 2014, Tokyo said it spotted Chinese military aircraft flying as close as 30 metres to its military aircraft over the East China Sea and protested to Beijing.

Man indicted on charges from pipe bomb explosions
Jun. 11—A federal grand jury indicted a Hamilton County man Wednesday on federal crimes related to explosive devices. Robert Gilb, 50, of Green Twp., allegedly detonated three improvised explosive devices, or pipe bombs, in Hamilton and Butler counties in March and April. He was arrested Tuesday by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. He possessed an unregistered destructive device and transporting explosive materials, the press release says. "This alleged activity posed a serious risk to public safety. The FBI worked closely with our law enforcement partners to neutralize this potential danger and protect the community." Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Miami Twp. for a report of a loud explosion. What appeared to be a blast crater and components of an improvised explosive device were found, according to the U.S. Attorneys Office. The FBI investigation revealed there were two previous incidents in Morgan Twp. in Butler County that appeared to have had similar characteristics to the incident in Miami Twp. Butler County Sheriff's deputies responded to incidents March 23 and March 28. The FBI said witnesses saw Gilb in a white BMW near the site of at least one of the locations of the explosion. Gilb is charged with three counts of possessing an unregistered destructive device and three counts of transporting explosive materials. Each charge is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
