Eric Dane shares plan to fight ALS ‘as much as I can'
Euphoria actor Eric Dane says he plans to fight his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) 'as much as I can'.
Dane appeared on Good Morning America, where he said that his right side is no longer functioning, his left arm is getting weaker, and he feels he may lose the use of his left hand soon.
ALS, an incurable condition, affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to increasing muscle paralysis. Dane's symptoms began over a year ago with weakness in his right arm.
Dane credited his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, for her support, saying they have become better friends and parents throughout his disease.
Despite his diagnosis and the challenges it presents, Dane is returning to film season three of Euphoria and recently starred in Amazon Prime Video 's new series, Countdown.

'I think people found Billy and I being together a little surprising,' she told Page Six. 'It's not surprising to me because we're actually quite similar and get on extremely well. There has been quite a reaction.' Explaining the things they have in common, Hurley revealed, 'We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country. And we both love country music, both love movies. We've got a lot in common — and cowboy boots, definitely.' DC Studios head issues update on latest Batman films
James Gunn, the co-CEO of DC Studios, has confirmed that the sequel to Matt Reeves 's The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, is still in development despite rumours of cancellation. Gunn assured fans that Reeves is currently working on the script for The Batman Part II, which is expected to be released on 2 October 2026. Reeves's The Batman exists outside the DC Universe in its own universe, but Gunn indicated there's a very small chance Reeves's Batman could be integrated into the DCU in the future, saying 'I would never say zero'. DC Studios is also developing a new Batman movie within the DCU, titled The Brave and the Bold. Gunn said he is collaborating with the writer to ensure Batman has a clear purpose and isn't just a campy version of the character.
