EXCLUSIVE Revealed: The real reason why Amad Diallo stuck his middle finger up at Man United fans in Malaysia after embarrassing friendly defeat
Amad Diallo was the target of serious personal abuse from a Manchester United fan in Malaysia, Mail Sport can reveal.
A photo of Amad went viral after the 1-0 defeat against the ASEAN All-Star team in Kuala Lumpar where the Ivorian is photographed putting his middle finger up.
There had been some suggestions online that it was linked to his name and desire for people not use 'Diallo' as a point of reference.
But it's understood that the real reason behind Amad's emotional reaction was down to serious personal abuse sent in his direction.
While the exact nature of the exchange has not come to light, Amad was left very upset by the incident as he boarded the team bus.

Matheus Cunha becomes Man Utd's joint fourth highest earner as his wages are revealed – and he could soon rise to second
MATHEUS CUNHA has become one of the highest-earning players at Manchester United. The 26-year-old joined the club in a £62.5million transfer from Wolves at the weekend. 4 4 4 Cunha penned a five-year deal with the option to extend another 12 months upon his arrival at Old Trafford. And now his wages have been revealed. The Telegraph reports that Cunha will earn £200,000-a-week during his time with Man Utd.
