Cici's first live performance marked not only the beginning of her career but also the culmination of years of hard work, preparation, and passion. By finding encouragement from her family and friends, and most importantly a relationship with God, she took that leap of faith even when self-doubt started to creep in. For Cici, the performance wasn't just about getting the lyrics right; it was about creating a moment in time that resonated far beyond the music. From that night, Childlike Cici knew she was no longer just performing; she was living her purpose. As her career continues to flourish, this inspiring artist's first steps remain a core part of the story she's building for herself and her growing community of fans.
Her performance wasn't just about showcasing skill; it was also about creating community. Her vulnerability, dedication, and infectious charm lit up the room, signaling the bright future that we see today. That first performance proved to be an inspiring experience overall that she hopes will resonate for other aspiring musicians to learn from and use as a guide towards success.

‘70s rocker suffers medical emergency with ‘long journey ahead of him if he survives'

Dave Edmunds, the Welsh rock musician, has suffered from a 'major cardiac arrest,' according to a Facebook post from his wife, Cici. Cici updated fans on Edmunds' condition earlier this week, revealing the incident in graphic detail. Per her post, Edmunds died during the attack and was later revived by ICU doctors who intubated him. 'My beloved husband of 40 years has had a major cardiac arrest as I told you about in my previous post,' she wrote on Tuesday. 'He died in my arms while I desperately tried to keep him alive while trying to clear his airways from all of the fluids that come out of a human beings [sic] body when we pass away.' She added: 'As I'm on the floor with Dave dead and lots of fluid is coming out of his mouth and the other places in his body. I keep my emotions in check, even though I'm absolutely heartbroken and terrified at the shock of having my beloved husband dead in my arms.' After an unsuccessful attempt at performing CPR on the musician, ICU doctors revived Edmunds 'by a miracle' via intubation, although Cici's post notes that he 'very clearly has brain damage and severe memory loss etc.' 'And the risk of yet another major cardiac arrest is high,' she wrote. 'And if that occurs there is no chance for Dave….." Edmunds ended the post by asking for prayers and 'good wishes' for her husband, and thanked them for their support this far. 'I'm still in shock and I believe I have PTSD from the horrific experience,' she wrote. 'Dave will have a very long journey ahead of him if he survives,' she concluded. 'We both have.' Edmunds, whose career launched in the late 1960s, has recorded over a dozen records as a solo artist and a member of the bands Love Sculpture and Rockpile. In 1970, he scored one of his best-known songs in the UK with a cover of 'I Hear You Knocking,' originally by New Orleans blues musician Smiley Lewis. Peter Phillips, grandson of late Queen Elizabeth II, is engaged

Peter Phillips, the son of Britain's Princess Anne and eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, announced his engagement to nurse Harriet Sperling on Friday. 'Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official engagement,' the couple's spokesperson told CNN in a statement. 'Both families were informed jointly of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement. Their Majesties The King and Queen, The Prince and Princess of Wales have been informed of the announcement. 'No date has officially been set for the wedding,' the statement added. The couple first announced their engagement with a photo shoot in UK celebrity magazine Hello!, in which they were pictured in a field, with Sperling's ring prominent. They have been a couple since at least May 2024, when they were pictured together at the Badminton Horse Trials alongside Phillips' daughters and Queen Camilla. Sperling is a pediatric nurse for Britain's National Health Service and a freelance writer, according to an online biography attached to an article she wrote for Christian magazine Woman Alive last year. Phillips, 47, was previously married to Canadian-born Autumn Kelly with whom he shares two daughters – Savannah, 14, and Isla, 13. They announced their 'amicable' divorce and decision to share custody of their children in 2020.
