But he got his throw at the double 12 horribly wrong and it landed in nine.
The Canadian was then left with 15 and he eyed up the three.

Matt O'Riley transfer uncertainty as Everton 'keen' on ex-Celtic star

It's claimed the Premier League club would be interested in signing the Brighton midfielder just one year on from his move from Celtic. O'Riley endured a staggered season for Brighton with injuries impacting his availability and limited minutes when fit under Fabian Hurzeler. Sky Sports now reports Everton would be interested in a deal for O'Riley should Brighton sanction a transfer exit this summer. According to the outlet, it is unclear whether Brighton would allow a deal and be willing to sell the midfielder. It's thought O'Riley is viewed as a player prepared to make a telling contribution at the club next season. O'Riley notched two goals and three assists in his debut season in the Premier League. He also started six of the last eight games for the club last season. Read more: It comes after reports O'Riley is a transfer target for clubs in Italy, Germany and sides in the Premier League. Fabrizio Romano posted last month: "Matt O'Riley could be one to watch in the summer as Brighton midfielder is now attracting interest from Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League clubs. "Approaches started eyeing an opportunity on the market to try sign the talented central midfielder." A potential O'Riley transfer this summer could have consequences for Celtic. Indeed, the Parkhead club were said to have been given a 10 per cent sell-on fee when they sold the 24-year-old last year.

Bruno Fernandes sends message as Man Utd release transfer statement

Manchester United have agreed a deal to make Matheus Cunha their first signing of the summer window and the outgoing Wolves star has been welcomed by Bruno Fernandes Bruno Fernandes' future may be up in the air right now, but that hasn't stopped the Manchester United captain from welcoming the club's newest recruit in Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford. Cunha, 26, has agreed to become the Red Devils' first summer signing after the club triggered the £62.5million release clause in his contract. The Wolves forward will add some much needed firepower to a United team who recorded their lowest ever Premier League finish last season in 15th. ‌ United formally announced Cunha's capture on Sunday, releasing a statement to confirm that they had met the Brazilian's release clause. ‌ The club wrote: "Manchester United has reached agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the signing of Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian forward's signing is subject to visa and registration. "The 26 year-old has 13 senior caps for Brazil, and, in his club career, has made 270 appearances and scored 72 goals in the English, Spanish, German and Swiss top flights. During two-and-a-half seasons at Wolves, Cunha has scored 33 goals in 92 appearances. "Everyone at Manchester United looks forward to welcoming Matheus to Old Trafford." ‌ Shortly after the terms of the deal were confirmed, Fernandes took to Instagram to welcome Cunha to the club. The Portugal star shared a a video of the club's announcement with the message: "Welcome to Old Trafford @cunha". While Cunha's arrival comes as welcome boost for United, it remains to be seen if the talented forward will get to play alongside Fernandes or not. ‌ The Red Devils captain, 30, is currently weighing up a mega-money proposal from Al-Hilal, who are willing to pay Manchester United a staggering £100million to bring Fernandes to the Saudi Pro League. Fernandes' agent, Miguel Pinho, held 'positive' talks with Al-Hilal's powerbrokers in Riyadh last week. And it's understood that Fernandes has been given a few days to mull over his decision, with Al-Hilal wanting an answer sooner rather than later. ‌ Speaking after the club's defeat in the Europa League final, Fernandes opened the door to an exit, saying: "If the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is. " Football sometimes is like this. I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go. "I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club to the great days. The day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way."
