
Pioneer opens new R&D centre in Bengaluru to support automotive technology development

Corporation, has opened a new Research and Development (R&D) centre in
Bengaluru
, following the company's 2023 announcement.
The new facility is intended to support the development of technologies across several areas, including automotive vision and sensing systems, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), human-machine interfaces, cloud-connected infotainment and telematics, and AI-based mobility data platforms. It will also focus on connected solutions for two-wheelers, addressing local and global market requirements.
The centre will work with Pioneer's international network of engineering teams and will support OEM, aftermarket, and B2B clients, including fleet operators and insurance providers. It also aims to meet the specific needs of Indian automotive manufacturers.

Pioneer is currently recruiting across multiple engineering areas, including embedded software, computer vision, cloud connectivity, and AI, and plans to expand its workforce in the near future.
Pioneer India, established in 2008, offers in-car products such as stereos, speakers, dash cameras, and accessories. With existing R&D operations in Gurugram and now Bengaluru, the company also plans to begin local manufacturing in 2026, forming a complete R&D-to-manufacturing ecosystem in India.

2025 Yezdi Adventure launched at Rs 2.15 lakh with new features, cosmetic updates
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, a subsidiary of Classic Legends, has launched the 2025 edition of the Yezdi Adventure, in the Indian market. Priced between Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 2.27 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated motorcycle receives a host of cosmetic enhancements, feature additions, and minor mechanical revisions to further solidify its presence in the adventure 2025 Yezdi Adventure retains its ADV styling but receives visual updates that add to its road presence. The most striking change is the new asymmetrical twin-LED headlamp setup flanked by a taller, adjustable windscreen and a rally-style front beak. The 15.5-litre fuel tank remains the same in shape but now comes with new graphics and tank shrouds featuring the iconic '69' decals and 'Adventure' the rear, the step-up seat flows into a sleeker tail section with a new twin-LED tail lamp unit and an upswept central exhaust system, which also contributes to the motorcycle's improved 220mm ground clearance. The bike continues to ride on wire-spoke wheels, sized 21-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres for all-terrain readiness. The latest Adventure is packed with an array of tech upgrades.
