Following her victory at the French Open, the 21-year-old failed to score big on the grass court and ultimately lost to China's Wang Xinyu in Berlin.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, she didn't let the outcome discourage her; instead, she chose to share the moment on social media.
In a new Instagram post, she shared a closer look not only at her outfit but also at the fierce game face behind it.
'The rare tennis pic where my face actually looks normal,' she wrote.
The two-time Grand Slam winner matched the grass court with her game-day look in a Miu Miu and New Balance collaboration.
Gauff's outfit featured a white and dark green color palette, a nod to the surface she was playing on. She arrived at the Steffi Graf Stadium in a track jacket paired with a pleated skirt.

During the game, she went for a white cropped top with green details. Moreover, she also matched her accessories from the headband to the wristbands for a tonal look.
Meanwhile, the comment section was filled with fans gushing over her game face and stylish fit.
'That outfit is [fire emoji]' a user said.
'Big credit for you, New Balance and Miu Miu, for creating this stunning outfit. This is true art!!!' a fan added.
On the other hand, one follower didn't hold back and pointed out how the tennis star repeatedly adjusted her outfit during the match.
'This outfit is a big NO. You kept adjusting it the whole time. They need to go back to the drawing board,' a commenter said.

The comment prompted Gauff to respond candidly and explain that it was not a wardrobe issue.
'I always adjust my skirts or headbands not because it doesn't fit, it's just something to do with my hands to not crash out on court, redirecting my focus onto something else instead of negative thoughts. Almost every outfit I'm always moving something around. Y'all gotta think first,' she replied.
The reigning Roland Garros champion also responded to a fan who urged her to rewear the kit.
'Manifesting a re-wear of this outfit because it was everything! Please consider it!!!' Gauff's follower said, to which she replied, 'New balance and I stay on a tighttt schedule. So it's most likely not coming back.'

Florian Wirtz joins Liverpool to become Germany's most expensive footballer
Florian Wirtz is leaving the Bundesliga for the English Premier League. After undergoing the requisite medical check, Liverpool confirmed that the German star had signed for the Reds. Bayer Leverkusen and English champions Liverpool have agreed on a transfer fee for the 22-year-old attacking midfielder worth around €150 million ($174 million) including bonus payments, which makes Wirtz the most expensive transfer in Bundesliga history. The previous record was a total package of €135 million, which Borussia Dortmund collected from FC Barcelona for Ousmane Dembele in the summer of 2018. The Frenchman has been playing for newly crowned Champions League winners Paris St. Germain since 2023. Wirtz is reportedly set to earn between €20 and €22 million a year at Liverpool. Alongside Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, he is regarded as the biggest talent in German football. The 22-year-old developed in the youth section of Bundesliga club Cologne before signing with Leverkusen in 2020 at the age of 16. His Bundesliga debut followed shortly after at the age of 17. Wirtz's contract at Leverkusen still ran until mid-2027, making Liverpool pay the high release price for their future midfield hopeful. In his 140 games for Leverkusen, he scored 35 goals and added 47 assists. He played a key role in Leverkusen securing their first ever Bundesliga title and shortly after adding a second German Cup to their trophy case in 2024. The foundations for his almost perfect ball handling, even in tight spaces and against multiple opponents, were laid at an early age; at the age of four, Wirtz began playing at his home club Grün-Weiss Brauweiler, in a suburb of first coach was his father Hans-Joachim, who is now his agent and closest advisor, aiming to ensure that Florian's career progresses at the right pace. "There were always footballs around the house, someone was always kicking the ball around, especially my sister Juliane, and I," Wirtz told national paper "Süddeutsche Zeitung" and magazine "11 Freunde". Juliane, who is a year older than her brother is also a professional footballer who currently players for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. The pair are the youngest of 10 siblings. Florian und Juliane Wirtz haben es beide in die Bundesliga geschafft. Auch, weil sie schon früh angefangen haben, dafür zu trainieren. Zum Doppelinterview (C): — 11FREUNDE_de (@11Freunde_de) January 20, 2022 "We didn't have a television to watch, so we played football in the living room," Wirtz said. "If I went to the kitchen to get a plate, I had a ball at my feet." Fast forward a few years, the ball is still at his feet and led him to a Liverpool contract reportedly worth more than €20 million a year. Wirtz is mostly known for his offensive power and creativity. His sensational solo run and finish against Freiburg in October 2023 was perhaps the best goal of Leverkusen's double season. Freiburg head coach at the time Christian Streich admitted afterwards: "You cannot defend Florian Wirtz." His first career hat trick came at the perfect time in mid-April of 2024 when Leverkusenbrushed aside Werder Bremen with a 5-0 win to secure their first ever Bundesliga title with five games to spare. Wirtz had only come on as a late substitute and needed less than 45 minutes to hit the back of the net three times. But his highlight-reel doesn't stop at club level. In early 2024, his first Germany goal, a long-range stunner against France, set a new record for the fastest ever Germany goal (scored after just seven seconds). Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann called him, Jamal Musiala and Ilkay Gündogan his "three wizards." For all his attacking quality it is often forgotten how much Wirtz also contributes to his team's defense. He runs more than 10 kilometers per game, because he is constantly shifting, closing spaces, either running at the opponent head-on or chasing someone down in a sprint to win back a lost ball deep in his own half. What is even more remarkable is that his most recent impressive seasons came off the back of an ACL injury that kept him out for most of 2022. He missed the World Cup in Qatar and his debut in the Champions League was postponed. After the enforced break, Leverkusen's coach Xabi Alonso, who has since moved to Real Madrid, carefully reintroduced Wirtz to the team in 2023. He soon looked better post injury than before. The simple statistics that season were impressive — Wirtz finished with 18 goals and 20 assists in all competitions. For context, that total number of goal involvements in all competitions in Europe's top five leagues was higher than Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and the same as Phil Foden (Manchester City). Wirtz's assist tally was the most of all players in Europe's top five leagues He has now played nine Champions League matches, scoring six goals and will look to add to that tally with Liverpool. In Leverkusen, Wirtz wore shirt number 10, which has a special meaning in football. Great players such as Pele, Diego Maradona and Lothar Matthäus have worn it over the years, leaving a lasting legacy. "Flo is a very special player,' says Xabi Alonso in the Amazon documentary "Bayer Leverkusen - A Dream comes true," which traces the Werkself's path to winning the double. "The number 10 is tailor-made for him. He is one of those extraordinary players who honor this shirt number. There aren't many of them, but Flo is definitely one of them." For Wirtz himself the shirt number has a much more personal meaning than just football: "I have nine siblings, I'm the 10th, so it's a number that suits me very well." Edited by: Chuck Penfold

Ashley Walters changed by Adolescence
Ashley Walters thinks Adolescence has changed his parenting. The 42-year-old star - who has Amaiya-Love, 10, and nine-year-old River with wife Danielle Isaie, is stepfather to her child, and also has adult kids Shayon, China, and Panera with former partner Natalie Williams, and Antonia and Ashley from another relationship - has become more present and engaged in doing things with his youngest son in particular since starring in the Netflix miniseries in order to encourage him away from the online world. He told the new issue of Men's Health UK magazine: '[As parents] we're really about uplifting and pushing the things that they love. He's an animator, so he has a lot of animation software on his iPad and spends his time doing that. "But sometimes, he's not animating when we think he is. We've been very conscious about that and drawing back on his screen time. Half the week, he can't even touch his device. "And then actually, it's about me stepping in as a dad and saying, 'Let's go fishing, let's do more stuff,' so he doesn't want to be on there as much as he is.' Ashley noted that parents often don't intervene with their children's screen time because they don't want their kids to feel left out, but believes Adolescence has empowered them to intervene more. He added: 'No one wants to be the ogre parent that comes in and goes, 'All right, that's it, everything off.' I don't want them to feel like they're not the same as their friends. You get caught up in all of that stuff as a parent, but I feel like around the world this show has allowed parents, to go, 'F*** that s***. Adolescence says this could happen. Now we're going to start having this conversation.' I think that's a good thing.' The former So Solid Crew rapper played DI Luke Bascombe in Adolescence and though he'd love to reprise the role for a second series, he thinks that's unlikely to happen. He said: 'I'd love to, but I strongly believe that it will be completely different characters with a completely different story. I think that the constant will be the one-take process.' The full interview with Ashley is available in the July/Aug issue of Men's Health UK, on sale from 24 June, or visit for more.

Ilkay Gundogan ‘thinks' he will stay at Manchester City this summer and has ‘several years' at highest level
Ilkay Gundogan believes he will be a Manchester City player come the end of the transfer window as he vowed to keep playing at the top level for several more years. The 34-year-old scored twice for Manchester City as they beat Al Ain 6-0 in their second Club World Cup group stage game, but there has been speculation linking him with a move away from the club in the last week. Advertisement He is into the final year of his contract, and Pep Guardiola has admitted he is looking to trim his squad, but the German international appeared confident that he would see out his contract. 'I think so, yes,' he said. 'I have a one-year contract. And I'm very happy here. I think everyone knows that. 'And I am committed to the competition. And I'm enjoying my football. I still believe that I have several years in me. To play on the highest level by taking good care of myself. 'I think I've proven that. Also in last season where I didn't miss a game. So I'm available. I'm fit. I feel really good. And I want to play on the highest level for much longer.' Gundogan spent seven years at City before joining Barcelona in 2023 but returned to the Etihad last summer. Guardiola is into his tenth season in charge and also only has a year remaining on his deal, but Gundogan enjoys the freshness of playing under him even after so long together. 'It's a big privilege. I mean, otherwise I would have not joined again,' he said. 'Otherwise I would have not spent so many years with him at this club. I think it's just something that he has, that he's able to do. To make players feel they have to compete on the highest level. They have to reach their best to be able to play in this team, first of all. 'But then also you know that every training session, every game is just a joy. If it turns out to be the way we want to play. That's why he's the best. That's why he has won so much, so many titles. 'That's why also probably all the players in the world would love to play for him. And the same reason is for me.'
