Time of India01-06-2025

Gajaana OTT Release Date Confirmed: Vedhika and Yogi Babu recently starred together in this Tamil supernatural flick, which arrived in theatres on 9th May this year. Written, directed and produced by Prabadish Samz under his Four Square Studios, the film is now ready for its digital debut. Here are four things about Gajaana that you must know before streaming it.
1. When and where to watch Gajaana?
Gajaana will be streaming on JioHotstar starting June 2, 2025. The film had a terrible box office reception with just Rs 5 lakh as its lifetime collections.
2. Gajaana's cast and crew
Other than Vedhika and Yogi, Gajaana also stars Inigo Prabhakaran, Chandini Tamilarasan, Hareesh Peradi, Pratap Pothen, Karate Karthi, Ilango, Sendrayan, Vijayalakshmi Veeramani, Knife Naren, Velu Prabhakaran, Pooja Shankar, Rajesh, Sahana Venkataraman and Nithiya among others. This Achu Rajamani musical is cinematographed by Gopi Duraisamy and Vinod JP, edited by K.M. Riyas.
3. Gajaana's plot overview
A group of people enters a mysterious forest called Nagamalai, hoping to find a magical treasure and get rich. But this isn't a normal forest, it's cursed and full of strange, dangerous creatures. As they go deeper, things start going wrong. Some members of the group disappear or die under mysterious circumstances.
They soon realise that the forest is protected by a powerful mythical creature called the Yali, a mix between an elephant and a lion. The group has to figure out how to escape the forest, break the ancient curse, and survive the supernatural threats chasing them. In the end, their greed turns into regret, and only those who respect the forest's power have a chance to survive.
4. Gajaana's review
The Times of India rated the movie 2 out of 5, and a part of their review read, 'Gajaana is amateurish, ill-conceived and pretentious. Right from the evidently fake blood to the poorly conceived CGI animals, Gajaana is let down by poor execution. Gajaana gets butchered in execution with its unnecessary positioning of a sequel, unconvincing CGI and the lack of focus given to individual character arcs.'

Divya Dutta On Staying Single: 'There's A Lot Of Male Attention Coming My Way But...'

Last Updated: Divya Dutta opens up about choosing not to marry, embracing self-love and companionship, and talks future projects Nastik and Netflix hit Chhaava. While Bollywood often celebrates fairytale weddings, some stars are choosing a different path—one of independence and self-assurance. Among them is acclaimed actor Divya Dutta, who recently opened up about why she's comfortable not getting married and how she views companionship in a more meaningful light. In a heartfelt interview with Hindi Rush, Divya shared her personal stance on marriage and the kind of relationship she truly values. 'If you find a good partner, it's great to be married. If not, life moves on beautifully. It's better to nurture yourself than stay in a dysfunctional marriage. Rather than lowering yourself in a relationship, it's better to love yourself. There's a lot of male attention coming my way and I enjoy that, but a relationship should happen when you connect. You feel that the person can hold your hand. If that isn't there, I have many lovely friends around me, and I am there for myself." Making it clear that she's not seeking marriage, Divya added, 'I don't want to get married, but I would love to have a companion with whom I can travel. And if not, then I'm still happy. You know, my best friend sent me a quote — a person asks, 'Why are you single? You are beautiful, attractive, caring,' and I say, 'I think I'm overqualified.' There comes a time when you look for completeness outside, which is not necessary. It's not necessary that you'll only be complete when a good partner enters your life. I used to have that misconception. I used to wear my heart on my sleeve — but not anymore." Professionally, Divya continues to soar. She was last seen in the historical drama Chhaava, where she shared the screen with Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, was a major commercial success, earning Rs 807.88 crore globally. It's currently available to stream on Netflix. Looking ahead, Divya will star in the upcoming film Nastik, alongside Arjun Rampal. Directed by Shailesh Verma, the film also features Ihana Dhillon and Harshaali Malhotra. The official release date has not been announced yet. First Published: June 11, 2025, 16:10 IST

Gauri Khan shares updates about Mannat renovations: Shah Rukh Khan's renovated house should be ready by…

An important address in Mumbai lost much of its charm as Shah Rukh, along with his family, moved out of Mannat earlier this year. The house, which is a Grade III heritage site, has been the actor's home for 24 years now and has gone through several modifications and tune-ups during that tenure. Now under the expertise of his wife Gauri Khan, who has made a name for herself as an interior designer, Mannat is getting two new floors. She talked to News18 about the expected timeline for the project and also about various other endeavours that she has taken upon herself. Gauri admitted that the house is expected to be completed sometime around next year and couldn't really zero in on a date. Apart from designing her own home, Gauri is now expanding her business with new offices in New Delhi as well. According to initial reports, Shah Rukh and Gauri have decided to add two new floors to the house, while the first actual change in the house was the nameplate beside the gate, which was changed from the bright diamond one to a more subtle brown and silver plate. Shah Rukh Khan's current home While renovations go on, Shah Rukh and Gauri, along with Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam, have shifted to a rented duplex in the Pali Hill area of Bandra. They have leased two apartments in Puja Casa, owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani, and the family is reportedly paying an exorbitant price of Rs 24 lakh. The family has also leased a Rs 1.25 lakh residence exclusively for their staff, and it is located in Pankaj Society, which is just 100 metres from their interim residence at Puja Casa. History of Mannat The iconic bungalow was bought by Shah Rukh back in 2001, and the original name for the house was Villa Vienna. After renaming it to Mannat, as the house symbolised an important checkpoint in his life and an important dream checked off the list, the 27000-square-foot home went through several upgrades. Designed by Gauri Khan and designer Kaif Faquih, the house boasts a state-of-the-art gym, a swimming pool, and an in-house theatre brimming with Bollywood memorabilia. Due to the cultural importance of the original Villa Vienna, the actor was not allowed to make any structural changes to it, and he decided to build a six-storey annexe at the back.
