UAE launches Artificial Intelligence Academy with short programmes in multiple languages

UAE has launched the Artificial Intelligence Academy, an initiative that aims to develop a new generation of AI leaders.
The academy combines advanced research with real-world industry insights, strengthening the Middle East's position in global AI innovation.
The AI ​​Academy, launched by the Polynom Group in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi School of Management, offers a series of short programmes specifically designed for executives, senior government officials, and technical professionals.
These programmes will cover the fundamental concepts of AI, national AI strategies, generative AI tools, and executive-level applications that facilitate leaders' access to various sectors.
These short programmes will be available in multiple languages ​​and will form the basis for broader AI capacity building efforts.
The strategic partnership agreement was officially signed in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, during the annual professional AI summit, "The Machines Can See Summit."
Following the initial launch, the Academy will also launch the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Program, a pioneering 3-4-month leadership programme designed to empower a new generation of AI decision-makers. Comprising eight advanced modules, the programme provides participants with a comprehensive foundation in AI strategies, governance, and deployment across multiple industries such as finance, healthcare, and public administration.
Participants will attend exclusive seminars led by leading scientists and global industry leaders, providing them with firsthand insight into the latest research and innovations in areas such as computer vision, large language models, sovereign AI, and AI ethics.
These sessions will foster fruitful dialogue and provide practical and strategic insights for those shaping the future of AI in the region.
The academy will also integrate NVIDIA's expertise and technologies into select programmes, contributing to the shared mission of accelerating AI readiness and real-world application across the region.
Alexander Khanin, founder of the Polynom Group, emphasised the group's commitment to bridging the gap between scientific discovery and commercial applications of artificial intelligence. He noted that through its collaboration with the Abu Dhabi School of Management and NVIDIA, the group is poised to deliver a unique educational experience that fosters innovation and responsible technical leadership.
Dr Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi School of Management, emphasised that the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Academy, which focuses on providing leaders in the region with the tools and insights needed to harness the transformative potential of AI, reflects the ongoing commitment to innovation in management education and positions the UAE as a global center for leadership in AI in business.
He explained that the goal of this partnership is to empower the next generation of changemakers to lead future trends in a world increasingly dependent on technology and data.
The AI ​​Academy serves as a catalyst for collaborative research projects, networking opportunities, and startup incubation.

The occasion provided an opportunity to strengthen social relations within the Pakistani community and reflected the established diplomatic ties between the peoples of the UAE and Pakistan. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan highlighted the significant relationship between the UAE and Pakistan that is founded on " shared values, cultural heritage, mutual respect, and a collective vision for peace and prosperity." Sheikh Nahyan added: 'The partnership between the UAE and Pakistan exemplifies the fraternal bonds essential for fostering social and economic prosperity globally. I am delighted to express my optimism for the bright future awaiting our two nations.' The event included more than 60,000 attendees and was organised by "Emirates Loves Pakistan" Page, in cooperation with the Pakistan Association Dubai and with support from Dubai Police at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai on Sunday. It featured a programme of entertainment and cultural activities that showcased the distinct heritage, traditions, and arts of Pakistan, including its broad diversity. In June of this year, a strategic partnership in governmental modernisation was initiated between the UAE and Pakistan, reflecting a mutual commitment to collaboration, the exchange of successful governmental practices, expertise, and the development of institutional capacities to support modernisation efforts. The UAE is also recognised as a significant investor in Pakistan, particularly in telecommunications, services, tourism, information technology, oil and gas, housing, banking, and real estate.

Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, attended on Monday evening the reception hosted by Sharif Mahmoud Said Eissa, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the UAE, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the 23rd July Revolution. The event, held at the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, was attended by a number of senior officials, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, and members of the Egyptian community residing in the country. In his speech on the occasion, Ambassador Sherif Eissa emphasised the depth and strength of the relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, built on the principles of brotherhood laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He noted that the past two years have witnessed both qualitative and quantitative transformations in UAE-Egypt relations, with Emirati direct investment in Egypt reaching an unprecedented level of nearly $70 billion, making the UAE the top investing country in Egypt. He also highlighted the UAE's substantial investments in the Ras El Hekma project on Egypt's northern coast, and noted that bilateral trade between the two countries exceeds $4 billion annually. Earlier, the fourth edition of the Youth Knowledge Forum (YKF), titled 'Knowledge Economy and Human Development,' commenced at the Cairo University Theatre, garnering wide participation both regionally and internationally. It is being organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Egypt's Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) through the Youth Knowledge Office, under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports, along with several other ministers and senior officials, including Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population; Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture; and Counsellor Mahmoud Fawzy, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs. The inaugural session was also graced by the presence of Jamal Bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF; Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University; and Eng. Hany Torky, Project Manager of the Knowledge Project at UNDP, as well as a distinguished group of partners and experts. Furthermore, attendees enjoyed a vibrant lineup of musical and artistic performances by the 'Percussion' troupe. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy stressed that as the host of the Forum's fourth edition, Egypt has demonstrated its strong commitment to investing in human capital and capacity building. Moreover, he stated that the knowledge economy is the backbone of the nation's ongoing development efforts. He further stated: 'The forum serves as a dynamic platform for impactful dialogue and youth policymaking, redefining benchmarks of how government institutions should engage with youth in an era of digital and knowledge transformation. Through such initiatives, we strive to enhance the creativity, awareness, and leadership qualities of Arab youth, since empowering them today is fundamental to building a cohesive society and a sustainable, competitive economy.' Jamal Bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, expressed his delight at the Forum's return to Cairo, following the success of last year's edition. He further underscored that Arab youth empowerment remains a cornerstone of the Foundation's strategic vision. Meanwhile, Eng. Hany Torky, Project Manager of UNDP's Knowledge Project, emphasised that the world's greatest challenge today is not a lack of professional opportunities, but a growing skill gap, which is hindering individuals' ability to keep pace with digital transformation and artificial intelligence. Following the opening, the first session titled 'Knowledge Economy and Human Development' was moderated by Mostafa Magdy, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports for Strategic Affairs and Information, and a member of the Technical Secretariat of the Ministerial Group for Human Development. The session explored the importance of formulating a comprehensive vision for the knowledge economy and examined the role of Egypt's development policies in supporting the same. The event also featured a second session titled 'Formulating Development Policies in the Era of the Knowledge Economy,' which was moderated by Fathi Emad, Director of the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office.
