Singapore will be able to handle up to twice the amount of air cargo daily, and at greater efficiency. This is as ground handling firm SATS opens a new facility that reduces processing time for ready-to-ship packages by 20 per cent. This first-of-its-kind facility aims to support rising cargo volumes through to the mid-2030s when the new Terminal 5 opens.
