Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will make an exclusive appearance at Vivid Sydney 2025

Time Out08-05-2025

If you thought that Vivid Sydney 's new and improved program was already sounding too dishy to handle – with icons Martha Stewart and Nigella Lawson both set to make appearances – then think again. The hottest couple in comedy, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are confirmed to appear on stage and in-conversation together for the very first time in Australia, closing out the final night of the 2025 festival.
Unscripted & Unfiltered with Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally will see the immensely talented husband-and-wife duo grace the stage of the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) on Saturday, June 14.
Mullally, best known as Will & Grace's Karen Walker, and Offerman, best known as Parks and Recreation's Ron Swanson, have forged a creative partnership that spans film, television, podcasting and co-authorship over their quarter of a century as a couple. However, they have never appeared in a live-onstage in-conversation before now.
'Megan and I are powerfully chuffed to get back to town for Vivid Sydney, but also to reprise our lovemaking session atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge,' Offerman said in an official statement.
He continued: 'Once we have recharged those particular batteries, we'll be thrilled to transfer our slatternly energies to the Vivid Sydney audience. Come for the anecdotes and the burlesque lust in our every turn of phrase, then get stretched out before you get home, because there's gonna be some canoodlin''.
In this playful conversation moderated by radio and television broadcaster Zan Rowe, Offerman and Mullally will give insights into how they have shaped their careers as multi-hyphenate artists separately, get candid on what it takes to collaborate as both creative partners and spouses, and celebrate how their work intersects with their activism within the LGBTQIA+ community and across environmental issues.
'We couldn't let Vivid Sydney take place this year without treating visitors to a masterclass in comedy,' said Vivid Sydney Festival Director, Gill Minervini. 'Nick and Megan are one of the funniest couples alive, and this conversation is set to be equal parts unpredictable and hilarious.'
Offerman and Mullally's appearance will be exclusive to Vivid Sydney as part of the festival's Global Storyteller series, which this year also includes Martha Stewart. The series is designed to 'bring together the world's brightest minds and creative leaders to provide new forms of creative exchange and interactive engagement'. Previous speakers include pop culture sensations Jennifer Coolidge and Mike White, comedic visionary Amy Poehler, local superstar Troye Sivan, and Hollywood trailblazers Baz Luhrmann and Spike Lee.
Are you pumped to see this iconic couple? You can get geared up by binge-watching every episode of Will & Grace and Parks and Recreation on Stan. The Aussie streaming service is also offering an exclusive presale to Stan customers from Thursday, May 8. General release tickets for Unscripted & Unfiltered with Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally will be on sale from 9am on Friday, May 9, at .
Vivid Sydney's 2025 program is set to bring a huge array of events to the city from May 23 to June 14. The program spans light, music, ideas and food, and don't worry if you don't have the cash for ticketed events – 75 per cent of the program will be free, including the legendary Vivid Sydney Light Walk.

The Firework singer indulged in a 90-minute hot magnesium soak alongside her crew in the studio's luxe communal bathhouse and shared a video of her visit on Instagram The American star then uploaded a steamy snap from inside the sauna, posing for a post-soak selfie with her dancers. Katy and her team enjoyed a late-night period of rest and relaxation that lasted until nearly 2am, a source tells Daily Mail Australia. On Sunday night, Katy was spotted climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge during the city's Vivid Sydney festival. At one point, Katy joyfully waved to onlookers below and later held up a small rainbow flag with both hands, grinning as she proudly celebrated diversity and inclusion. Last week she stunned onlookers stunned as she took a very casual shopping trip in Sydney's western suburbs. The Roar hitmaker was seen wandering around Lidcombe Shopping Centre on Tuesday, ahead of kicking off her tour. Katy had daughter Daisy Dove on her hip as she stopped into a series of stores. Katy strolled by the Aldi supermarket and discount department store Kmart with her small entourage. She blended in with the locals in a low key ensemble including a grey Celine tracksuit, cap and sunglasses. The original run included just one show each for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, however fan demand dictated Katy needed to add two extra Sydney and Brisbane shows. Crestfallen Adelaide fans expressed their frustration over missing out on their chance to see Katy in the flesh but they were not left out in the cold for too long. Listening to fan protests, Katy eventually added a run of four shows in the City of Churches. 'I heard you loud and clear Adelaide, I got you!' Katy wrote on Instagram.

Hollyoaks confirms dark Clare Devine twist as teens are chilled to the bone

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday's (June 9) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm. Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) proved that she's just as evil as ever, delivering a bone-chilling threat to Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) and Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence). The legendary soap villain, who staged a historic comeback 'from the dead' earlier this month, tracked the teens down to 67 Christleton Terrace, determined to ensure they keep shtum about the details of their trafficking ordeal. Walking into the property in her signature red high heels, Clare removed pictures of Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi), Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) and Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) from her handbag, informing the trio that she has 'eyes and ears' everywhere. Frankie, Dillon and Vicky reeled in shock as Clare ordered them to keep quiet about her and Grace Black's (Tamara Wall) roles in their exploitation nightmare, otherwise she would make them – and their families – 'disappear.' The unsettling threat came just hours after Clare revealed to the village that she's alive and well – despite the fact that everyone who dwells in Hollyoaks believed her to be dead. It seems that living in the shadows has hardened Clare further, with the character having been pulling much of the strings of the trafficking operation. And her ruthlessness is something that Grace is set to find out the hard way, with Clare hellbent on revenge after she discovers her sister gave Tori back to the Blakes. Discussing what's to come, actress Gemma Bissix told Metro: 'Grace says she let Tori go to the shops on her own and the Blakes have just snatched her.
