In the comment section, many speculated that the footage is not real and is AI-generated. Some said it might be something else, and not a UFO. HindustanTimes.com could not independently verify the incident.
'Bro that was my drone malfunctioned,' one user joked. 'Weird. They don't sell that kind of fireworks in Texas,' wrote one user, while another said, 'Ai af'.
'Looks fake af,' one user said, while another wrote, 'The government is trolling us'. 'Since no one seems to be explaining this I will, It's called the "Jelly fish / Twilight effect" during a rocket launch,' claimed a user.
Houston has had the highest UFO sightings in Texas history
A list compiled by tracker revealed that Houston has had the most UFO sightings in Texas history. Since 1995, Houston has recorded as many as 435 UFO sightings. Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and El Paso are other Texas locations with high UFO sightings.
Stacker opened up about America's "alien obsession," and about compiling the information to find out the top ten places in each state with the highest UFO sightings. It said, "Stacker compiled a ranking of cities with the most UFO sightings in Florida using data from the National UFO Reporting Center. Data encompasses all reports of UFO sightings dating back to 1995. Sightings with locations listed across multiple cities were not included in this analysis. For now, the U.S. government's official stance is that extraterrestrial life does not exist. But if the last century is any indicator, that will do little to curb America's alien obsession."
Stacker explained, 'UAP and UFO sightings in the U.S. are particularly concentrated in the West, partially because of the abundance of dark sky locations, where it's easier to spot objects with less light pollution. Those who believe they've seen something otherworldly can report it to the National UFO Reporting Center, which relies on volunteers to separate fact from fiction.'

ISRO's before and after satellite images reveal flash floods destruction in Uttarkashi's Dharali

Days after two cloudbursts, one in Dharali and another in the Sukhi Top area in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, caused widespread destruction, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) released a satellite image showing the devastation around Dharali village following the flash floods. Rescue operation underway following flash floods triggered by a cloudburst at Dharali region, in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, on Thursday, (PTI) According to officials, at least four people have been killed in the disaster that struck the ecologically fragile area on Tuesday afternoon. Rescuers recovered two bodies on Wednesday, but it was not clear if these were among the four deaths reported the previous day. Rescue operations gathered pace on Thursday as weather improved and more than 270 people stranded in different locations in the district were evacuated to safety with the help of IAF's Chinook and Mi-17 helicopters. The army said 50 civilians are missing besides nine of its personnel, including one junior commissioned officer. However, eyewitnesses said the number of missing persons could be even higher. The ISRO used Cartosat-2S satellite imagery to perform rapid, side-by-side comparisons of before-and-after conditions (comparing data from June 13, 2024, to August 7, 2025). In the latest image, a pronounced fan-shaped debris and sediment deposit, covering approximately 20 hectares, is visible where the Kheer Gad and Bhagirathi rivers converge. This deposit likely engulfed much of the village area, burying structures under mud and debris. The flood dramatically altered the topography: river channels appear significantly widened and river morphology has visibly shifted, indicating the sheer force and sudden onset of the flash flood. Many buildings and infrastructure in the floodplain seem partially or entirely submerged — some even appear to have disappeared from their pre-flood footprints. "The satellite images would help the ongoing search & rescue operations to reach out to stranded individuals and restore connectivity to the isolated region, the ISRO said. 'The event highlights increasing vulnerability of Himalayan settlements to disasters. Scientific analysis is being carried out to ascertain the cause of the triggering event,' it added. ‘Satellite images will help rescue, restoration work'

BENGALURU: Two days after the catastrophic floods due to cloudburst and intense rainfall in Dharali and Harsil villages in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, Indian Space Research Organisation's National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) shared analysis of the floods based on satellite data. Using high-resolution images of the Indian Cartosat-2S satellites, the teams drew a comparative analysis of the satellite images taken on August 7 (post the event) and cloud-free satellite images taken before the event on June 13, 2024, showing the extent and severity of the destruction. 'The satellite images will help in the ongoing search and rescue operations to reach those stranded, and restore connectivity to the isolated region,' the ISRO report said, and cautioned that increasing events highlight the vulnerability of the Himalayan settlements to disasters.
