Mamelodi Sundowns to announce new deal
Lunga made his dream move to the big time when he signed for Sundowns in July 2021 from fellow Premier Soccer League side Golden Arrows.

'Mamelodi Sundowns have exercised the option in the contract of Zimbabwe international defender Divine Lunga till June 2026,' iDiski Times reported.
'Information gathered by this publication states that Sundowns exercised the option they had in Lunga's contract. He is expected to be with the club until June 2026 with his focus now firmly on the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA next month,' the report added.

Out of the five fixtures, Pirates play three of them at Orlando Stadium and nothing but three points should satisfy Ouaddou. The Marumo Gallants' match away could be tricky and if Orlando Pirates slip up, they could find themselves once again chasing the league. The away fixture against Chippa is winnable when you look at Ouaddou's squad. Expect the Buccaneers to heavily rotate their players especially with CAF Champions League fixtures coming up. Strong comments: Khanye on Kaizer Chiefs-bound players

South African footballer Adrielle Mibe wins soccer scholarship to University of Arizona

A SOUTH African footballer has secured a full soccer scholarship to the University of Arizona in the United States, following a standout performance at the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge. Adrielle Mibe, who represented the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Ladies, captained her team to victory in the Gauteng leg of the tournament. She was named both Player of the Tournament and Midfielder of the Tournament, capping off a three-year run in the competition. 'Playing at the Engen Knockout Challenge has always been a great experience,' said Mibe. 'I'm happy I was able to end my stint with a victory alongside my teammates. I'm grateful to Engen for creating this platform where players like me can showcase our talent. I look forward to heading to the U.S., elevating my game, improving myself, and hopefully making it into a more professional league.'
