Emir of Qatar lands in Iran

Tehran, February 19 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Wednesday in Tehran on an official visit to Islamic Republic of Iran.
HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Mehrabad International Airport by HE Iran's Minister of Energy, Abbas Aliabadi; HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iran, Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud; and HE Iran's Ambassador to Qatar, Dr. Ali Salehabadi, along with a lineup of senior officials and members of the Qatari embassy.
HH the Amir is accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and an official delegation. (QNA)

'Israeli' forces raid Al Jazeera office in Ramallah, renew 60-day closure order
Israeli Occupation Forces raided Al Jazeera's office in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday and renewed its closure for another 60 days, according to Al Jazeera. Ammon News - The trial of Swedish terrorist Osama Karim begins Wednesday, in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, for his role in the 2014 capture and subsequent killing of a Jordanian pilot burned alive in Syria. The case is considered unique as the other involved in the brutal killing, which sparked international outrage at the time, are presumed dead, Swedish prosecutor Henrik Olin told AFP. He now faces charges of "serious war crimes and terrorist crimes" for the killing of the Jordanian pilot, with his trial due to open at 9:00 am (0700 GMT) at Stockholm's district court.
