(NYSE:SUI) is a real estate investment trust that owns, operates, and develops manufactured housing and recreational vehicle communities, as well as marinas. It will report its Q3 2025 earnings on Nov. 3. Wall Street analysts expect the company to post EPS of $2.14, down from $2.34 in the prior-year period. According to data from Benzinga Pro, quarterly revenue is expected to be $709.45 million, down from $939.90 million a year earlier. The 52-week range of Sun Communities' stock price was $109.22 to $147.83. Sun Communities' dividend yield is 3.28%. It paid $4.16 per share in dividends during the last 12 months. 'We are pleased to report strong second quarter results with earnings ahead of our expectations, as we demonstrated the strength of our platform. It was also one of the most pivotal quarters in our history as we completed the previously announced sale of Safe Harbor Marinas and repositioned Sun as a pure-play owner and operator of manufactured housing and RV communities with a best-in-class balance sheet. If you want to make $100 per month — $1,200 annually — from Sun Communities dividends, your investment value needs to be approximately $36,585, which is around 288 shares at $126.83 each. Understanding the dividend yield calculations: When making an estimate, you need two key variables — the desired annual income ($1,200) and the dividend yield (3.28% in this case). So, $1,200 / 0.0328 = $36,585 to generate an income of $100 per month. You can calculate the dividend yield by dividing the annual dividend payments by the current price of the dividend yield can change over time. This is the outcome of fluctuating stock prices and dividend payments on a rolling basis. For instance, assume a stock that pays $2 as an annual dividend is priced at $50. Its dividend yield would be $2/$50 = 4%. If the stock price rises to $60, the dividend yield drops to 3.33% ($2/$60). A drop in stock price to $40 will have an inverse effect and increase the dividend yield to 5% ($2/$40). In summary, income-focused investors may find Sun Communities stock an attractive option for making a steady income of $100 per month by owning 288 shares of stock. There may be more upside to come as investors benefit from the company's consistent dividend hikes. Sun Communities has raised its dividend consecutively for the last nine years. Angel investor warns capital markets are being ‘sunset' by crypto

Angel investor warns capital markets are being 'sunset' by crypto originally appeared on TheStreet. Former Coinbase chief technology officer (CTO) Balaji Srinivasan says the future of corporate fundraising will happen outside of Wall Street, with companies issuing 'cryptoequities' on blockchain networks instead of going public on the NYSE or Nasdaq. Srinivasan told his 1 million-plus X followers that the real reform to IPOs would be eliminating the costly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) rules. He believes this change won't come through Washington, but through crypto itself. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) is a U.S. law passed in 2002 to protect investors from corporate fraud after scandals like Enron and WorldCom. It requires strict financial reporting, internal controls, and regular audits for public companies. While it boosts transparency, compliance can cost millions annually, especially for large firms. 'We'll actually get that reform… but only via crypto, because all companies will become cryptoequities. That means they'll list on Internet capital markets and crypto exchanges, rather than NYSE/NASDAQ,' he pointed to a decades-long decline in the number of U.S. public companies, alongside a rapid rise in cryptocurrencies over the past ten years. 'The big picture is that we're just sunsetting U.S. capital markets in favor of Internet capital markets,' Srinivasan said. He singled out Senator Elizabeth Warren and FTC Chair Lina Khan, calling them part of a 'statist' faction that 'hasn't founded businesses' and 'doesn't want to advance technology.' In his words, 'Their actual policy goal was to kill tech and stop us from getting to Mars… they were building an anti-tech army, and that army was (for now) defeated on the battlefield of ideas.' Srinivasan warned that overregulation could push innovation and the crypto industry overseas. Balaji Srinivasan is an angel investor and former General Partner at the prestigious venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, he helped shape major investment trends in both crypto and biotech. He later served as the first Chief Technology Officer of Coinbase—cementing his role at the nexus of Silicon Valley and digital asset markets. Arista Networks (ANET) Gets $145 Price Target as Meta and Microsoft Boost Capex

Arista Networks Inc (NYSE:ANET) is one of the . On August 6, KeyBanc analyst Brandon Nispel raised the price target on the stock to $145.00 (from $115.00) while maintaining an Overweight rating. The price target raise follows Arista's second-quarter results which exemplified strong artificial intelligence demand, flourishing opportunities from NeoClouds, and traction in the Enterprise and Campus markets. The firm also believes that Meta and Microsoft will continue to increase their capital expenditures, and that overall hyperscale cloud capital expenditure will rise. 'We think with: 1) Meta/Microsoft capex expected to continue ramping; 2) overall Hyperscale cloud capex expected to rise >50% in '25 and >20% in '26; and 3) increased levels of opportunity from emerging segments, ANET appears well positioned. While the stock is expensive, we think ANET appears poised to continue to grow at midteens+ with best-in-class margins that continue to deserve a premium valuation.'
