Despite slumping to a dismal 3-0 loss, Inter took home an eye-watering €5.79 million.
However, Simone Inzaghi can hardly be proud of his team's performance, especially in the second half.
If it's any consolation, Inter continue to make an off-the-chart profit.

To be specific, a record-breaking night at San Siro saw 75,552 fans pack the stands for the second-leg decider.
Furthermore, the latest Derby della Madonnina edition poured €5.79 million in gate receipts into Inter's bank accounts.
That's the highest ever recorded in the competition.
However, goals from Luka Jovic and Tijjani Reijnders tore Inter's treble dream into pieces.

Now is the time for Inzaghi to rally his troops and prepare well for Sunday's must-win home league clash against Roma.
Indeed, Inter can't afford another slip-up amid a fierce Serie A title battle against Napoli.

Reports: USMNT midfielder Musah to join Napoli in €25m transfer Show Caption Hide Caption Weston McKennie: Landon Donovan's dig at Christian Pulisic was sad U.S. Men's National Team standout Weston McKennie reacts to Landon Donovan's comments regarding Christian Pulisic. Sports Seriously Yunus Musah looks to be on the move, though the AC Milan midfielder won't be leaving Serie A. According to multiple reports, Musah is on the brink of joining Italian champion Napoli in a move worth around €25 million. Napoli coach Antonio Conte is said to be an admirer of the 22-year-old, who looks to be part of a revamped midfield that is also set to include former Man City star Kevin De Bruyne. Musah will help replace Philip Billing, who was on loan from Bournemouth this past season and will not be retained. Musah has spent two seasons with Milan after joining from Valencia in 2023. The midfielder earned plenty of minutes with the Rossoneri, but never completely found his footing during his time at the club. The U.S. international managed 40 appearances in all competitions last season, playing a variety of positions including right back, right winger and central midfield. Though he was at times a lock starter, Musah's minutes declined over the final weeks of the 2024-25 campaign. He was removed twice as a tactical sub in a four-game span in March and April. Musah is set to trade Serie A's eighth-place finisher for its champion, swapping a season with no European competition for Champions League play. It will be a welcome boost for his USMNT chances. Musah was set to be on the Gold Cup roster this summer, but requested to be removed due to a personal issue. Musah has 46 caps with the USMNT, including starts in all four of the team's games at the 2022 World Cup.

USMNT's Yunus Musah reportedly nearing move from AC Milan to Napoli

USMNT midfielder Yunus Musah is closing in on a move to the Serie A champions, leaving AC Milan for Napoli according to a Tuesday report from Fabrizio Romano. The versatile Musah, 22, has been in and out of Milan's Starting XI over two seasons with the club, making 80 appearances across all competitions while registering five assists. MORE — USMNT vs Switzerland preview The Arsenal academy prospect made his name at Valencia before making the move to Milan, committing his international future to the United States in 2020. He's won 47 caps for the USMNT. It's difficult to judge what the move would mean for Musah's future with the national team or Napoli until we have a feeling where the club views the player, but being wanted by Antonio Conte is not a bad thing. Assuming he'd choose to move to a club where he'd play inside, Musah would join a midfield with Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Stanislav Lopotka, Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour, and Luis Hasa. 🚨🔵 Total agreement in place between Napoli and Yunus Musah on personal terms after player's green light. Contract ready and club-to-club agreement now close with AC Milan. Exclusive story, confirmed. ⏳
